Probably like the WB,then come up with some new coin and whatever else for you to get one. Yup. The first time the Wild Bunch bots were available, loads of folks said, "bah, I'll just wait to buy them for Gold after the event." Never happened. I have no need for the Tempests, but I still snapped up a pair of them. Just in case. |

Oh ok now I see. But are you sure that the new dash bots will cost gold? If someone is "sure" about that, then they probably get their paychecks issued by Pixonic. We don't know. But awhile back on Reddit they did state that they would "most likely" cost Gold. |

People are right in the fact that the britbots haven't gotten worse. The game environment has just gotten less favorable. That is why it is true that they have become less valuable. A bot or weapon's "value" is measured by what it can produce for you in comparison to its cost. The ability to produce results with these bots significantly declined after the 2.9 update while the price remained the same. That means they offer less bang for their buck now. On the contrary, the Rog was recently buffed, and the rocket filled environment makes the Rog's jump ability even more valuable. That's why you see the britbots - namely the Gareth and Galahad - move down on priority lists, while the Rog has climbed. It's a true representation of the output per price of these bots. The Gareth and Galahad weren't nerfed directly, but the environment now allows them much less freedom of movement, and it's much more difficult to have any effective impact on games with them. The Lancelot with an Ancile is still a viable option because it can still counter the rockets, especially once the Ancile is high enough in level. If you're looking for something to spend your gold on, I'd stay away from Gareths and Galahads. I'd actually save it entirely and either use it in the event if possible or save it for the Dash bots. Food for thought- some have hypothesized that the Dash bots will decrease the strength of rockets, because Dashing is a fairly hard counter to death button setups. I wonder if that will tilt the environment back more towards the center, and indirectly benefit the Brits. |

I will say this. I know that part of it is because of a last-minute attempt to look "influential" for the contest, and I'm totally okay with that, but lately I feel like the forum has really been showing signs of vibrancy again. Part of it too is that we've cleared out some of the worst offenders who were dragging the place down.
I logged in a couple days ago to "do my rounds," clicked "Recent," and saw tons of informative threads and much, much less whiny stuff.
And I feel like I'm gonna jinx things, but you know what else is way, way, WAY down? Reported posts, which for us has been a reliable barometer of the level of animus and drama.
Keep up the good work, y'all. This is your baby. I just change the diapers.
