Spawned into the riverbed in Springfield, waited to see where my random blue buddies were headed, seen this guy make a bee line for the right beacon and though, he has that one covered me and my Rog will go get the centre, and we did, and held it for a good two and a half minutes against 3 reds, killing a Rhino and a Rajin in the process, all the while wondering why we only had two beacons? Eventually some spirals get me and I respawn to see this muppet just standing there taking random pot shots. He got two rounds of my Thumders (one on my way to the beacon, the second on the way back) he didn't appear to take much notice. Friendly fire ire is the only viable solution, I am going to right a letter to someone in Russia about it.

Welcome to War Robots. Campers come with the game. It seems solo on big maps theres always someone wanting to test out there long range with no regard for beacons. Best cure for this is form a squad of pilots that have a game plan.

adding friendly fire means R.I.P War Robots, sure you bring up a good point, campers are worthless people who don't deserve anything and are meant to die in holes, but USE YOUR BRAIN!!! If friendly fire was introduced, a thunder carnage or a thunder Fury would just walk around 「fluffernutter」ing everybody up. A better alternative to this is maybe a FFA mode, where there are no teams, and last man standing wins.

I think OP is half joking. Or half serious. Or both. I think we all know friendly fire would be a horrible idea -- how many times are we clustered around an enemy and would off our own teammates in the chaos. But there are many times I wish I had 'selective' friendly fire, where I could maybe go into the menu to turn it on and off, right under Select Another Robot. But since I don't, if a battle is going bad enough and I see the same camper(s) in the same spot(s) as I'm spawning my 4th bot, I have pushed them off an edge when having turned around and fired on them as I marched past them with a previous bot didn't get the message across. About that time I'm sure they with they had friendly fire, too.

Unclear if its true but I have a friend who no longer plays but got into War Robots back in 2014 when it first came out and he said that friendly fire was part of the game when it first came out but was quickly removed because of issues with people accidentally killing a teammate during a firefight.

Yeah, rushing in with my thunder carnage trying to deal damage when oops: Destroyer XI [Thunder] Pilot B7TCHA33 Destroyer XI [Thunder] Pilot GDD4MN Destroyer XI [Thunder] Pilot F7CKU2 (Yes Actually, I did see this one.)

Long time advocate for a switchable, pay as you go friendly fire mode. Switchable so it has to be done on purpose, and any dmg inflicted on blue would be deducted from your battle total, so people wouldn't over use it.
Might think twice before I wasted a blue Natasha or Leo if I had to lose that much from my total, but it'd sure be worth it now and then.

It is, look on the war robots update page on the wiki. Lucky it isnt there, as most people in the game shoot as well as drunk storm troopers.

Tankers would just go around killing their own teammates to hasten a loss.

seanh, I must respectfully disagree. The chaos that would be created should your suggestion be implemented would make the game next to unplayable. Trolls would disrupt games by shooting their team. There are people that just want to disrupt your enjoyment of the game. You are just giving them the means to do it.
