I buy on the first day and last day. don't know if it makes a difference..
For 99 bucks I spun the 1k wheel, until I had 2500k in tokens left then went with 100 token spins until 90 was left then went with 10-token spins..
My total take:
8.4k in Gold
5.8mil in Silver
Jessie
2 Galahads
Aphid lvl5
Couple punishers
Gekko
Ancile Shield lvl3
Jessie and 2 Galahads were won on Treasure wheel spins, in which I got 3 of them.
My take, I feel the 99 bucks was well spent..
Tho I now have 4 Galahads.. So will probably get rid of the 2 Galahads for AG.. not 100% sure yet..
FWIW:
I personally have absolutely no interest in buying the Tempest for 2300 in tokens..
I think that will pan out to be 1200 AU at the end of the event..

How is the tempest going to end up being 1200gold by the end of the event? I am just speculating that at the end of the event, they will need to sell it somehow.. WOn't be by tokens, unless they are going to add another currency unless the Tempest will just be something for special events.. |

I think the very last thing we need is a new currency in this game.
Having purchased 2 tempest I have no interest in gambling money on the chests. I would prefer to wait for the new bots and see if they are either gold or any other currency.

You know.. just like the "influence" points which I don't think bode well for them as they thought it was going to. If they do come up with a new currency .. it is up to US the consumer to not fall into that trap and use that currency.. In the end, we control what is successful and what is not.. If we don't support something, it becomes nothing and they need to take another route then.. I use the treasure chests bc I get stuff on the cheap.. If I didn't I wouldn't use them.. Last time I purchased anything in the game was back at the anniversary event.. and I have been riding the gold and silver and winnings from then, just taking my time leveling up bots and weapons from then.. That is what I am going to do this time.. Im in no hurry for anything... that includes an amp'd up molot |

Lets say you were to convert your winnings into cash value, would you end up gaining more/less/same as if you bought the items directly with cash?

You did pretty good. Awesome haul!
The Odds seem similar to the Birthday Bash. However, at $134.99CAD for 13'500 Tokens vs. $129.99CAD for 14'000 Au, it really doesn't appeal to me to invest that much in Tokens. I'd rather invest in Gold.
If Pixonic would give pricing details beforehand, Players could budget and plan accordingly. Dropping the Prices out of thin air puts some Players at financial disadvantage.
I can buy can buy both but I feel one is a better investment than the other. So, I'll stick with 100 Token Chest(s).
BTW, does anyone know why I would not have received the Bonus 100 Tokens at the beginning of the Event..?

Firebeard I did see someone got 14k gold plus a bunch of stuff from opening 13k worth of 1k chests. So you could get a bunch of gold plus a bunch of stuff. It is a gamble though.

Bottom line is last day if I don't get a sniff that it will be available after the event I will snap a few up as well.. its only money and I don't drink or smoke.. so its the savings from not having other bad habits..  |

It is about time that something went up for sale for WSP, and the Tempest is a good candidate: plugs a heavy hard point gap, not op, could still raise pix money.
I think it would be the smart thing to do.
