I disagree since bots typically retain most of the weapons even when near death. The RDB/DB grif beaten half to death can still take down a bot or two before you finish him. Take them out of the game and give your team some breather so they can concentrate fire on the remaining bots. I feel like I've entered bizarro world here. No disrespect to the OP, but for the sake of newer players to this forum, please do not. Not.Not.Not.Not.
....leave alive an opponent you have within your ability to kill. This is not good advice. |

The name is great. It makes a very engaging statement. I'm not familiar with the two additional authors you mentioned. Could you give a bit of a background..? Also, branching out is good idea. Dash bots won't be for IP. Our first piece of information on their pricing! Will(when) IP ever be used for something other than WW bots? Nah, they said awhile back on Reddit that they'd most likely be for Gold. Using IP for the Dash bots would be a really big mistake. No idea on the IP/WW exclusivity thing. |

Hey folks! Time for nominations for the coveted Mr./Ms. Influence title! Just like with the "Robot head to head" competition I ran a couple months ago, your reasons are whatever you want them to be! We're looking for someone that you see as influential in the War Robots Wiki Forum community, but that could be for any number of reasons! Now, a few guidelines. 1. Limit three (3) nominees per poster. It's a good idea to read the thread before posting to make sure you don't "waste" a nomination on someone already nominated! 2. Nominees must be Wiki Forum participants in good standing. In other words, they didn't get picked up by the scruff of the neck and thrown out of the establishment. Mods/admin are not eligible. Nor is shaolinrogue as a contest organizer. 3. We're not gonna make you go through this four times from scratch. All nominees from this thread who do NOT win, will be automatically in the pool for the next week (and there will be an opportunity to add new folks, too).  4. Nominations accepted until 11:59 EST Wednesday. The vote thread goes up Thursday and runs through Sunday. 5. Dredd77 and shaolinrogue are the final arbiter in any and all things pertaining to this contest. 6. shaolinrogue has asked for a "buggy ride" in the winner's Butch, but I consider that to be an "optional consideration" for the winner. I don't see VR taking off too soon .. Zenimax pretty much told Facebook that they'll fight 'em tooth and nail. Microsoft is pushing holograms really hard and many companies are hopping onboard. War Robots in hologram - pure Gold! Hologram gaming pro tip: let the wookiee win. |

#3 Somewhere in Time (1986)
Man, this album just crushed. Wasted Years is easily, easily one of my top 5 all-time Maiden tracks, and the album nestled that in a creche of other incredible tunes like the title track, Heaven Can Wait, and Stranger in a Strange Land.
#2 Powerslave (1984)
Amazing that I was 10 years old at the time, but this was the very first Maiden album that grabbed me by the short and curlies and started the love affair of a lifetime. Rime of the Ancient Mariner was one of those tracks that, owing to its extraordinary length, was their an epic listen or an instant hit of the fast-forward cassette button, but the open of Aces High and 2 Minutes to Midnight were like a sledge in the aural temple. The Duellists was a superb underrated track, and Powerslave itself is another that sits on the top 10 of all time.
#1 Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (1988)
That rare thing, a Maiden concept album, there wasn't a weak track on it. Sure, it was the point of introduction for synthesizers, but the album starts rocking and never lets go. Thre back to back of Infinite Dreams and Can I Play with Madness easily are one of Maiden's best one-two punches, and I could listen to this album for all time and find new things to enjoy.

mijapi300 That's a matter of opinion. I do find it pretty off-putting when two guys deliver 70,000 IP spread across sixteen winners to a board that- *cough*- devoted a thread or two complaining about how crap the IP accrual method was on rollout, and someone's only feedback is to snark. One of those universal axioms of maternity surely applies here. "If you don't have anything nice to say..." Some people just choose to be unhappy, I suppose.
