Mmm your right khromag that would deal with people tanking because they can't use there higher level bots and weapons on weaker players. + in our squad we have players with 6/6 hangers up to 12/12 I have a 10/10 hanger but I have 6/6 and 8/8 hanger so it would mean I can drop down to there lvl bots and play with out disadvantaging them more fun for everyone ! Yes, I've suggested as Kromag did as well in the game ideas thread with the cavet of hangers being 1-4, 5-8, 9-12 upgrades respectively and with appropriate arenas to match these. All equipment on a bot would have to fit the upgrade criteria for each hanger. No 4/5s or 8/9s bots and such. Unless it would be possible for Pixonic a 4th arena option of unlimited upgraded equipment adding a 4 hanger option where any equipment could be used. This setup would keep clubbing and tanking to a minimum at least. Maybe even create different maps and bots for each hanger level. It seems simple in black and white but I'm no programmer. I've no clue how hard that would be to implement, it's just an idea. Might need to create 4 different games to make it work for all I know. But I sure would want to have them all. I love the concepts and gameplay this game provides an old MechWarrior. |

This may be the wrong thread...if so I am sorry. This is an idea I've tossed out to quite a few people. In this format it is vague but I hope it conveys the basic concepts. It uses a hangar based metric to let players pick and choose what level they want to play at but sets clear definitions of the "strength of bot/wep combos". It also sets up the notion of a broader hangar of bots and weapons for each player; therefore allowing Pixonic a broader range of income potential.
I have some ideas that would make business sense on your end and would give people back the game play they want.
Create four garages for each player. Bronze (level 1- 4 bots with weps max of 6. No workshop or gold bots). Silver ( level 1- 6 bots with weps to level 8. Specific workshop and gold bots and weapons). Gold ( level 1-10 bots with weapons to level 11. All bots and weapons allowed.) Elite ( level 1-12 bots with level 12 weapons. All bots allowed). A new player gets one bronze garage. They can use bronze bots and certain weapons on those bots ( to be dictated by Pixonic programmers). At a certain level they can they purchase a silver garage for 5000 gold. This would continue up the levels where they can the purchase additional garages. The robots and weapons are earned or purchased outside of the individual garages. Any player can drag whatever robot and weapon they want into whatever garage they prefer to play, but there would be parameters placed on what can be played. For example you wouldn't be able to drag a lancelot into a bronze garage. This would encourage people to have a much larger array of bots and weapons.
Anyway it's just a thought that I've thrown out to several players and they all liked the idea because they would be able to utilize anything they have bought.

That's a well thought out idea I think pix just keep making it to hard for them selves and they need (kiss) keep it simple stupid get what you have fixed and working well then add new things in they just keep adding to the game to make more money I'd like them to spend some money on the game they need there own server just for the game and they need to run with a 10 or 15 second delay in the game which would get rid of a lot of glitches.

You can't use logic when trying to explain the mm, lol. I'm pretty sure 4/6 is the cap for high bronze unless you go for something crazy like bot level 1 with 2 level 1 punishers and one level 9 magnum. 4/6 for mediums? Or lights? I have a 4 light hanger right now so I'm wondering what the line is for lights v. mediums in high bronze. I'm about to wash off the seal blood and add some mediums. (Got a Boa in a gift box... hoping for more) but want to have a balanced hanger to step into silver. |

I'm glad they listen I and my two sons play my 2 nephews and 3 dauters play my 3 nephews play my kids 7 cousins play plus my kids freinds. We make altogether about 40 u.k players all related. I'd please ask that they sort out the reward system for the kid players us parents can not afford the prices they charge please make it easier to get a bot when we spend keys I did 400 keys and got absolutely nothing just a few gold some parts 10000 silver and 6 keys it's unfair others get spider bots etc

Can some please explain why when it would suit thier player base by increasing players if we had communication but yet NEVER HAVE A WAY TO TALK TO PEOPLE!!! For instance, view photo. Is Pixonic Insiders even a thing anymore? In their most recent communication it sounds like they're not doing it anymore, but they don't(as usual) come out and say it. They probobly don’t look over everything but maybe one of there peeps is looking at the ideas here and is trying to make the game better...... maybe... just maybe, or we’ll that one person is the one who suggested the annoying dash bots and spectres, which basically makes it impossible to get to the legend league without component bots/weapons. |

Now that we got all the old threads back (Thank you whomever made that happen!) I think I am going to go as far back as I can and just reminisce. I was reading through a lot of the old threads, I missed a lot of fun it seems. Yeah, it was pretty great... F2P or P2A, didn't matter... you could find a niche and exploit it, but you will be countered by better players or your opposite in the Rock/Paper/Scissors game.
Yes, there were some eras that sucked more than most... Trident Fury era was Hell on my Gary and Galas... but then you could counter with an Ancilot. Ancilot era... pffft... a Stalker with Pinatas could get in close and do the tango and live. Or once the Pursuer came along... or once the Punishers got their rebalance around that time... etc. etc. It was a fun time. The people/clans were epic and more diverse, as a whole, too. Hate to go all "back in my day" but it really was different.
Hell, at this point, I'd be happy going back to the Rayker/1st Gen Blitz/Invader days. Rayker was my Grape Jelly to the META's Peanut Butter, before they nerfed all spiders.
