All the content creators are quite capable of pointing out problems with the game without needing access to Pigsonics cookie jar. If any of them signed a contract, that was straight stupid. Given the utterly offensive stink around everything Pigsonic does, tying ones own hands is not wise.
IMHO, there is at least one content creator (that shall remain nameless for this conversation, but I think many have figured out who) that threw the petition (and Manni) under the bus when the whole thing started way back. You could practically feel it in every one of that persons videos right after, and probably to this day I'll bet.
Too many shills and scammers indeed.

If we don't all hang together, we'll all hang separately.
And Pixonic/My.games is chortling in the back corner.
Snipped for length

And Pixonic/My.games is chortling in the back corner. Snipped for length I'm afraid we are and have been well into that territory. Especially when it comes to content creators. When you watch AD gaming video what is striking is that while he accepts all sympathies he is very careful not to be associated with Manni. He is correctly stating that he did nothing wrong, but would not see any parallels between his situation and Manni's. The standard operating procedure by CCs now is to look at any ban and figure out how it was individual content creator's fault and go on about their business. I don't expect smaller content creators to chime in, but when it comes to AD gaming's ban the silence from the top content creators is deafening. Never mind the fact that "mentor" program should imply helping players, not helping them to be lured into increased spending. Never mind the fact that with new Pixonic mentor program rules they'll now have very little integrity as reviewers of new content. They biggest issue is that while they might be nice to each other on the surface there's zero solidarity between them. I would say that they'll all hang separately, but they won't. Many will play along and do just fine. Heck, even benefit each time competition is banned.

Pigsonic learned a lot from the petition debacle, and are now applying SS tactics. They now know the top CC's in general have zero backbone, will not support each other, and in fact, will betray their peers in an instant. AD's ban is a simple reminder to all of them (he is being made the next example) that any dissent whatsoever will be dealt with harshly. He will recover, and they will let him off to show their massive "generosity and mercy", and it was all just a "misunderstanding". Mission accomplished, point made clear, get in line or suffer the consequences.

Of course we will never know the content of private negotiations, but Manni was saying that he was in talks for a month or two and it looked like his ban would be lifted. But then petition thing came about and Pixonic slammed the door, possibly taking the petition as one more act of defiance. We'll see how AD decides to play it out.
