FYI since I dont run them I cant tell but the shield for Jugg and Ares the timer may have been flipped for each, anyone confirm? Was posted on discord. 「dookie」. Yea. Juggernaut has been nerfed. It's shield only stays up for 12 seconds, with it's cooldown unchanged at 10 seconds. Nowhere near as bad as Ares used to be. Ares used to have to wait 27 seconds between shields. Unless they changed it to where the shield timer doesn't get added on to the cooldown timer if it goes down early, Juggy now has 22 seconds in between shields, and it's shield can be waited out. The timer on Ares' shield has been removed. Honestly, that's fair. Juggernaut still has damn near 100K HP, and it's shield totally covers it, while Ares' HP is just under 90K and it's shield only protects one direction.

So far, the changes aren't too bad. We have to fully max a mech to get the new EN ceiling. I guess I'll be maxing my Guardian first as that's the one using the RG16. I'm glad I didn't get the SB16 yet cause I'm gonna need all the credits I've saved so far.
Arachnos is achievable for free too, just gonna take some grinding. That's not too bad. Weekly challenges include 3 Vault tokens so that's not bad too. I'm gonna drop my cloned mechs from my active hangar and just start playing the mechs that will take me to global launch so that I evolve new tactics or relearn old ones.
Not sure I'm gonna like the Arachnos though. It's godawful slow. The slowest mech in the game by far.
Jugg nerf is fair. Those things at high level are a freaking pain in the butt. Whenever I ran mine, I'm always like: bwahhahaha, my shield down, no prob, let me hide and then boom instant HP regen! Now, it's gonna be more tactical and you would only activate it when you start taking heavy fire. Jugg's shield was what make it a better tank than the Ares. Now they're more on par with different ways to pilot.

Well, jokes on me....here I thought I can just willy nilly level up my Guardian to get the 32EN...nope, I need to collect more blueprints first!! Grrr... Oh well, it's not like every mech suddenly got a huge HP buff or anything. Regular Thanos instead of Double Death still kills mechs.

But there will be more changes to test builds... figure I can do that quicker with the copies... Guardian 2nd will rotate in after a few. Def going to be playing a bit after work, today.

I have to say I appreciate their thoughtfulness in this regard. Just imagine if Pixonic was so giving: compensation for lag, compensation for targeting, compensation for wonky ad implementation, compensation for MM, compensation for nerfing your hanger………

They had to go back down for maintenence like 3 or 4 times. The 10k creds 100 coins and gold chest were just from that. It seems they just made that the standard for unscheduled server down time.

Not sure about CPC but in a Tournament game I just played I noticed that to stay in the team cost 1 ticket,so squadding will be costly now.

Well, I screwed up...I must have gone into a haze....bought the SB16 and then just kept hitting the upgrade button until I ran out of credits...what was I thinking? That I could level it up right away?? Sheesh...forced me to mass open a bunch of gold and steel crates just so I had some credits showing.

Everyone was always charged a ticket to stay in team for tournament. When squadding up, everyone was always charged a ticket for entry, the match didn't start if someone didn't have any tickets. They added the ticket icon to the "stay in team" button with the last UI update. You probably only noticed it now because you were looking for changes.

The shame That Ares is in there because it's my next closest mech to be able to hang in my hanger. It's at 4.7 right now, so I can take it to R5 if I want, but I'm not sure I want to. I may decide to go a different route and I'll probably sit on that decision for a while. I may go with a Shadow for my 5th. I'm missing the speed of a 2nd KS (it's a forced thing as I'm trying to get used to no 2nd copies ahead of time).

Been there, done that. 😬 I wish I could explain why I do that. I once cleared several hoarded gold chests for the tourney tickets forgetting you could only amass 12. I think I lost access to so many I was PO’d at myself for quite a while.

Equip limit increase is just dumb phrasing. The R6 bonus for mechs actually lists the EN increase, and they don't seem to consider weapons "copies" so much as how many of them you can put in a hangar.

Ok, thanks guys. Looks like my priorities for my credits and blueprints is to clone my SB16 and max my Panther and Guardian. I really want two 32EN mechs in my hangar as soon as possible. Everything else can be upgraded organically over time as they are fine the way they are. My next mech to max will likely be KS so that I can try running dual RM12 on it. Or, might put CB12 on it for a while, depending on my mood. Then Zephyr, and then finally Shadow cause it's fine the way it is right now.

I’ve gotten used to playing the Jug a certain way, particularly in CPC, it doesn’t seem like much of a change to those who don’t run it but assure you it’s a massive difference. Like I said , I don’t know I would have committed the amount of resources I did w these mechanics, mostly likely not. I have only run my seconds for tasks, so I’m prepared.
