Gatecrasher HR16 works well. GC is beefy enough to last for a while and it's decently speedy.
Miniguns are worth it, although what pilot and implants you have for it definitely matters for damage output. The MG12s are a pretty solid option for Eclipse as well as tanks. In CPC it is becoming my preferred Eclipse build. And you can then shift your Storm Racks 12s to the Surge. In terms of a replacement for ATs, SR12s are probably the best option right now and while they work on both mechs, personally I like them a bit more on my Surge than my Eclipse.
On Pod Guns, I just doubled my 12s this weekend, so I'm still getting used to them. Others would have a better verdict than me, but so far I've been running them more on Orion or Stalker than non-damage boosting mechs. I like how much they curve and follow the target, but they are lower damage with a mid-sized clip and there's the damage delay. They are more a medium to long-range map weapon, and I'm not sure that the 16 wouldn't be the better one to get unless you plan to run them on Stalker/Brick/Orion. Personally I'll take any excuse to get my Stalker back in the mix. 😁 Still, I wouldn't rush pods right this second, as they seem map-dependent and won't be as useful in CQC.
If you can equip a 2nd pilot, Storm Racks 16s are probably going to be worth it. Don't have mine doubled yet but SRs are nasty in this meta. Revolker12s are definitely going to be worth it when they go on sale. I haven't run into many whales running them yet, but they're effective in the hands of those who are. EGRs still work well BTW. Railguns took a hard nerf, but the sniper meta is not fully dead. During the EGR16 Spree event, I wiped out most of the field repeatedly with my Panther. Oh and don't forget MR12s for Surge as well. Not quite top shelf, but I've been using it more than ATs. The reload is a little too long, but pairs up well enough for Surge's hide-and-freeze tactics.
