Thunders, though functionally like a shotgun, are also missiles. News to me. It shows as a gun in the mini display, doesn't it? As far as pedigree, it is, I suppose, meant to be the distant descendant of the mitrailleuse.

I can't tell you how many times I have had to grab a home beacon in Springfield WITH MY LEO. Attachment Deleted

Normally I try this when we are significantly, but not overwhelmingly, ahead on the bar. When I am squadding with clan mates and not just out for myself, I try to inflitrate near the red spawn area, but not go right for the beacon, which would get me killed quickly. By hiding out, I can usually draw 2 or 3 reds, and make them use up precious time trying to hunt me down. By the time they get rid of me, if they do, the win is normally out of reach for them, since my clan mates will have taken advantage of the enemy's preoccupation with me by grabbing more beacons and killing off outnumbered reds elswhere on the map. This works better on more cluttered maps like Shenzhen.

You are a little too low in level for Nitro Squad, but I want to commend you for your attitude to the game. If you are still unaffiliated (or dissatisfied with your then current clan) when you do get close to level 30, please apply (clan #34039).
P.S. I also want to commend you on obtaining your fifth slot. That is a great building block for winning play that too many players fail to appreciate.

As I said in another thread, I am in low gold, and start with a trident pin Leo on most maps for a number of reasons, some mentioned.
A big pile of hp, and the squishiness of the Leo matters less at 450-500 meters than at close range.
Good speed for a heavy, and you are not THAT far away from the action, so there are beacon capping opportunities.
At the beginning of the match, robots are often bunched up, which increases the chance of doing splash damage to multiple bots.

Uhhhhhhh...... if I was staring at that over the top of my phone, I would lose every match I played. And I wouldn't mind at all!

Agreed, but it is more important with the Zeus than just about any other weapon.
I run a Zeus Carny, and if I am not careful, when fired simultaneously the Zeuses (Zeese?) will hit two different targets. Sometimes the lightning bolt even switches targets halfway through the strike.

The targeting can be jumpy on a Zeus. Use the target lock when possible.

Other than a fifth slot, the most necesary, important, vital, indispensable thing for you to get IS A FIFTH SLOT!!!!!!!! Did I mention that it might be a good idea to get a fifth slot? If not, let me take the opportunity to do so now.

War Robots Haiku: I love flying bots. Shoot them until they are dead. And their hulks rain down. How come griffins lose all forward momentum when they are destroyed? -Amid The same reason carnages often flip around like crazy when they are destroyed: Pix has higher priorities than fixing faulty "death" animations.

I don't use them either but I see the appeal. High HP and strong firepower. Arguably stronger than the Leo as the heavy slot mixed with lights can sometimes be a liability as ranges may not exactly match(e.g- trident and pins). Versatile too. But if I meet a rocket Tul/Pin Griffin I charge them with my Ancile Golem and chew them up proper. A leveled up Ancile is really strong. It's funny to see an Ancile Golem eat Griffins. But I've done it plenty of times. Arguably, but the wrong side of the argument. Lol. I run a tri-pin Leo, and the combo works just fine. I love going one on one with it against Griffins of just about any variety. Likewise when I am using my thun-pun Leo.

Depending on the map and what the other reds are doing, sometimes I just walk up and kill them. Simple, effective and VERY satisfying. Of course, I normally run a Leo first, so I can take some trebbing and still make it to effective range most of the time.

No, that wasn't me, and if it was a slow bot, and you were in a more agile bot, you would be doing your best to stay "glued" to your target.
