Here's a quick question for you all: If Pixonic decides to turn War Robots into a full-fledged mobile esport title, which of the current clans/players would break out? Why? ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

That depends. Will there be groupies?

This game will never be an E-sport due to it's micro transaction based gameplay.
Every game to make it into E-sports requires minimal base-game alteration for preparation. In other words, E sport games can have a clean install on a 3rd party device, and with little to no alteration, players can compete using the base game at the same caliber as their home setup or installation.

The game also lacks support for 3rd party servers and private matches. There is no way a group could setup practices against another top tier team or the like.

I won't comment on the practicality since it was a hypothetical question.
I would say from iOS, the title match would be between CDxx and Idle Hands. CDxx because it seems like they've all been around forever, and Idle Hands because they work well together and have one of the most skilled players in the entire game.

Hearthstone, Clash of Clans and Clash Royale are all of that type. Yet, they are esport titles. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Pix can definitely implement these features if they wanted to. Or if they are lazy to do so, then allow third party companies to do it on a client, much like FACEIT, ESEA and SoStronk. Actually, it is as simple as adding a friend system then allowing challenges through the friend system. Hearthstone has this function.

What if Pix decides to... World of Tanks (general concept is same as War Robots tho it is a PC and a tactical 3rd person shooter game) , Hearthstone, CoC and many other mobile titles are now considered to be esports. Pix can develop those features with the talented amount of staff they have. Just saying.

Would assume it would be fun to watch as well.

That depends. Will there be groupies? You have to create a team of at least 6 players. One sub. Similar to the way they do it in World of Tanks: Clans of full complement with sub players.

Still Silver 2 now. just 2 weeks into the game and I am so happy about it

The biggest E-Sport right now, League of Legends, is microtransaction based gameplay. I don't see why it wouldn't work for War Robots.

If the pro league was a thing, I wouldn't be part of it (at least I don't think). I wouldn't consider myself one of the top 6 in my clan, so I'd be rooting from the stands.

"Custom matches" game mode will be coming soon. From there, regional or national matches can be arranged easily. Would be nice to spectate in real time though.

I found the best theme song for such a league. This needs to be played just before as entrance songs for every combatant and then during the battle.
