Hello all, for now, I've reset all of the broken forum icons to default. Over the week, when I have the time, I'll be changing some of them to custom versions.

Inspirace pretty much summed it up for me. A user’s like/post ratio is typically a good indicator of their credibility. Ahh. But then if they aren't always correct then that still means those don't actually mean anything. I've just been using them in lieu of posting a useless comment or if I agree/disagree with the subject matter. And this thread was obviously created in jest so I laughed at it and liked it. Before these options a poster's credibility was simply whether or not what they posted was actually truthful and useful to the forum community. Not what was popular. If you got caught out in a lie or posted misinformation then you had better own up to it quick or correct the mistake or never be taken seriously henceforth. I get what you’re saying, but oftentimes it’s fairly difficult for a noob to judge whether or not information is truthful. In those cases, a like/post ratio can help the noob judge whether or not a poster’s information is generally accepted within the forum.

Wow that sucks. I just had my feelings hurts when nobody liked or commented on my posts. Now I find out that I had no credibility when I spend most of my time being stupid. I'll have you know anybody that knows me, knows I have a very credible level of stupidity. Lol, tbh like/post ratio is what matters, not the amount of likes. Anyone can get 1000 likes if they post long enough.

StrayedWhat purpose do all these likes and unlikes serve anyways? They don't actually have any bearing on anything other than to serve as a one click no written comment option. And they are not counted towards post counts. So what difference does it make whether or not it's spammed or not? This isn't a criticism btw. I'm genuinely curious as an old moderator. This wasn't an available feature when I was doing so. Inspirace pretty much summed it up for me. A user’s like/post ratio is typically a good indicator of their credibility.

No I don' know who mrjoshie is. I have just been going around liking people's posts You literally have the same 「fluffernutter」ing ip address as mrjoshie333. Go back and unlike his posts.

Around time between when the workshop was released and the release of the wild west bots. Correct me if the wild west bots were released after leagues. Then, it's from workshop to leagues.

Eh, easy skip. For 20 bucks you could get any number of good games on the steam marketplace. HAHAHA at least you do have a disclaimer. "Not currently playing the game actively. Please take my advice with a grain of salt " Planetside 2 is a hell of a drug.

It wasn't long after the developer-player "round table" discussing future game development and player complaints that PIXONIC dumped their ingame connection with this very forum. While un-official it was actually recognized by PIXONIC as a very good english language source of information and discussion on the game. It still is by most knowledgeable players. But it surely appeared that possibly the developers just didn't like what they were hearing from the players involved in the round table, many of whom were recognized members of this forum, and possibly what some forum members were starting to say concerning the early game changes. No more round table invites were ever extended either. They just shut their doors to players and started pronouncing their changes instead of seeking player ideas and approval. May I ask, before we go any further, why Pixonic ceased their connection with this forum? There must be a good reason as to why. Is this forum still run by volunteers is that correct? I'm a volunteer and I'm still head admin of the forum, so yes, it's still run by volunteers. As far as I know, Pixo ceased their connection with this forum because of the negative sentiment towards their recent actions.

StrayedMove this thread back to the general discussions please. This is not a rant. I'm not ranting or raving in my original post or any afterwards. I'm making a serious effort to get players to rate or re-rate the game however they please. WE make a difference if we just make an effort. Done, not sure why it was moved in the first place, nowhere near a rant imo.

The Bulgasauri is one hundred bucks on sale!?
That's 1/5 the price of an entry-level gaming pc right there.
That's 5 times the price of the Witcher 3 on sale right now, which has over one hundred hours of content.
That's 40 dollars more than the price of Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout New Vegas Complete Edition combined, both of which can offer thousands of hours of gameplay each, due to replayability and modding.
This kind of exploitative pricing is why I will never spend money on microtransactions.

Back when it was Walking War Robots. When Rhinos were feared and Mag/Geps were what was complained about. Eh, Rhinos were complained about as well by people who played off-meta, it's just that they took actual skill to pilot and were thus more respected by the higher tier of mm community. Anyways, I joined a few months before the 1.0 update where they nerfed MGs into oblivion, made the boa an op god(at least until the Rhino came out), and changed the hangar UI.

As a heads up, soon I may be removing the monetary system in order to install a companion plugin to the one meant to stop new users from posting. This plugin will make it so that there is a list of pending posts that are waiting to be approved, making the job of approving posts much simpler for us. How far up the ladder will the new approval system go? Is there a time or rank limit in which your post will no longer need approval? 50 posts

Eventually someone (even if not you or heavy panda) will say something that is inflammatory or offensive and then someone else will get angry and eventually I'd have to shut this down. PC is the true master race. Nickelback doesn't suck. Rey is a Mary Sue. Bioshock Infinity is worse than Bioshock 2. Twilight Princess was better than Ocarina of Time.
