daddy was probably talking about medium bots. I don't know. That can't be right anyway, as by that logic 4/9 would be low silver and 4/12 high silver. You can't use logic when trying to explain the mm, lol. I'm pretty sure 4/6 is the cap for high bronze unless you go for something crazy like bot level 1 with 2 level 1 punishers and one level 9 magnum. 4/6 for mediums? Or lights? I have a 4 light hanger right now so I'm wondering what the line is for lights v. mediums in high bronze. I'm about to wash off the seal blood and add some mediums. (Got a Boa in a gift box... hoping for more) but want to have a balanced hanger to step into silver.

Another update that I think everyone should know about: The wild west bots WILL be buffed to boost them from their current disappointing state. I'm surprised this wasn't included in the most recent test server, but hey, maybe Pixo just wanted to play it safe with introducing new bots.

Please note that it has also be confirmed by Pix that the switchbots currently have the same MM penalty as the shieldbots. So no trying to sneak them into Bronze.

Another update came in today! Pixonic is going on Russian holidays for a week or two, but we got a glimpse of what they're planning for War Robots in the vaguely-near future. So, as it turns out: - They have been hearing our complaints about lag and damage not registering, and to address this are working on a complete overhaul of the netcode that should reduce lag and traffic consumption substantially.
- Also coming up is a rework of the graphics rendering process that uncouples it from the game mechanics. Apparently the game currently relies on the visuals to determine how all of the mechanics play out, and this is the cause of a number of bugs/glitches such as vanishing rockets after death and inconsistent weapon behavior. After this update these issues should be massively improved.
I should stress that this is still very much in-development stuff, so not even Pixonic is sure when it'll be ready. But at least it's something to look forward to going into the new year (not to mention all of the other juicy features like custom battles!) and looking back on how far War Robots has come in the past year, I think Pixonic deserves a round of applause. There may have been bumps along the way, but when all is said and done there's little doubt that they're some of the most committed developers out there.
Happy New Year forumers!

Thx for the update Weed!
I would gladly put all other "wants" on the sideline to have improved connectivity and damage reporting. Definitely major things ALL players desire, solid stable game play...

This is excellent news. If you can pass anything on, please ask that they make sure their fix is durable vs both network loads, network delay and high processor loads. Some players and clans in particular are notorious for manipulating their connections to reduce the damage taken to tilt the game in their favor. I will not list the things they have been documented doing in an open forum, but I can PM you specific methods and names if you'd like. If I were the developers I'd look at those cases specifically to see if their fix is robust.

Yeah, I guess so dredd... still... blows my mind.
I was on a game a little while back that had no limit to the amount of strength you could achieve, and no way to keep weak folks out of the same playing field as really strong folk. Well, this one guy spent (what we think after trying to calculate it out from what we knew stuff cost) over 15k USD, easy. Maybe 20k. He had an unbeatable set up... true, but all of a sudden, people started to leave in droves. It wasn't "cheating" per se, but FFS, why would anyone even bother to try to play against him? IDK how things ended up... but yeah, I imagine it was some kind of high he got from seeing his hard bought fleet pound exponentially smaller opponents into the ground. Crazy.
So, to keep from diverting the thread any further... Pix, if you read these... please, oh please take care of that before it is an issue that drives the rest of us off.

I think the devs can use all the help they can get in trying to reproduce these problems.

The common term for that is a lag switch. It's prevalent in just about all multiplayer games, but 3/FPS games especially. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheating_in_online_games#Artificial_lag.2Flag_switchingI think Pixo's response to things like this included the recent changes to bullet spitter guns, which did little to change their DPS/DPM rates, but did a lot to make for less bullets in the air at once.

Well, that definitely has my story beat! That guy was as dumb as a rock. Wonder what that $1 million got him in Game of War....seems like he would be top ranked if you were able to throw that kind of money at a game. Hmmm....I'm going to think differently about those folks who post they are a top ranked player in War Robots...just wait til the law catches up with you! ?

That LA times story should dropped on every cry baby player on the FB communities that tries to say War Robots is p2w. I haven't come closer to spending $500 on this game. More like $50 for my 5th slot when I realized how important it was (and I was impatient).
