Ya'll are too old to seriously discuss whether ya'll are too old to play games. It's a personal choice, what's there to discuss?

I had to put on my bifocals to read this thread - hell, I'm pushing 50 and I wasn't the oldest guy in my clan. Older guys can sometimes throw more money at the game....I know I used to get impatient so I'd buy gold to purchase bots, weps and speed up upgrades...didn't care about farming because I didn't need to. But one of the best pilots in our clan is 16....so age really doesn't matter a lot.
I don't bother anymore....now I just sit in my rocker and have occasional memory.....what was I saying?

You will never know the true joy that is SCSI termination, you plug things in and they generally work. Buy yourself a stack of raspberry pi's and start doing some projects, you will quickly surpass your dads knowledge and a lot of your peers. Honestly the skills you gain will serve you for the rest of your life! actually he works with computers all day. So ask your father for a Pi. They're inexpensive. You're young and still have a spongey brain so take advantage of it. The older i get the more difficult it is to grasp the conceptualization of things. Not knowing what your father does with computers makes it difficult. If you can start doing things with linux then great. Windows goes to great lengths to keeps you away from the core of what's really going on. Learn this stuff while it's still easy for you!! |

My kid is an Eagle Scout and I was an adult volunteer for 11 years (den leader, assistant scoutmaster, scoutmaster, merit badge counselor), but I was never a scout. |
