Anything within the effective range of rockets can be dealt with by leading the target. - a skill learned early on in bronze. At less than 300 m, a good lead can take more than half of it's HP. At close range, it melts like butter What do you mean a good lead? Undeniable evidence that's telling you where the culprit's going to go/be next.

Undeniable evidence that's telling you where the culprit's going to go/be next. .. introducing our favorite Cossack pilot. He can tell you all about a good lead on any target. .. He's not only cool.. He's ninja cool

Ok.. leading a Gareth isn't going to help, you can watch him run backwards all you want, it isn't going to help you hit them lol

Strayed and Stop Camping are correct. Don't even mention Gareth, because i have been able to avoid nearly all Orkan or Pinaata fire with a Galahad if you at 200m+ and backpedal. Having a lead on the target doesn't help if the target is going directly AWAY from you.

what can I say, you guys are that good. From my encounters, I'll take half or more of its' hp no matter which direction.

I dunno, I just kill 'em.

Dude that's like me vs geps, everyone's like oh you gotta do this and that, but I just grab a Cossack and blast it to death with a Taran without taking damage. Ez.

Hey, Drunk Uncle here. Just a quick correction on j khoo's history. It was really MSK and Cnti running the silver show with geps and rogs. Ruin was sort of a stepchild clan doing the same hangar thing. NM was a reorganization of sorts of MSK but with half its members running gold. Eventually NM split into two clans: one silver and one gold. Camper quit, NM gold fell apart. NM silver renamed to Raze. I just think its important to credit Cnti in this discussion. When I was in MSK it was Cnti clan that we wanted to drop against. It was a great time in which the two clans split the wins. Ruin was important then as they provided both MSK and Cnti with decent practice but inevitable victory that kept gold in our pockets and a high win percent. Thx Ruin

Gareth - With the shield down the Gareth at level 8 is 58 Kmh. Back pedalling from 200m will outrun most, if not all, Pinata/Orkans. Inside that range is different, however.
Maybe if you are in the same bot or one with the same speed... As I understand it, and I could be wrong... but those rockets range to 300m from your position at the time that the weapon was fired... and the Gareth will outrun them if outside of 200m... as it takes less time for it to go 100m than it does the Orks to get to 200m from the point they were fired, and they explode at either the perceived range of the bot... or 300m, whichever comes first.
Make sense?

Back before the Clan thingy. When I was still RUIN. Joel, LT, Der ejection. Took my style of play and exploited to get to number 1 by subverting the dominant Clans. CNTi only used it as a means to Farm Gold.

Got better things to do than to silently stalk in the shadows reading the forums until responding randomly as a guest? Hmm....

That simply isnt true Chris (aka Ruin, c-93). First it should be noted that I have no love for Lt/Der Ejektor and left MSK earlier this year. Secondly I was in many conversations on a comm app that we all used in which it became blantantly evident that you were late to the gep/rog party. I can only assume that the falling out with Lt you had a few months back is the reason you are misrepresenting history. There is no prize to be won in the "who was first" race so you should give credit where credit is due. Sour grapes just isnt a pretty look on anyone.

I'm a noob playing for a few months and reach level 25. Rage quit and uninstall the game a few days ago.
Stumble onto this forum and can't help myself to comment. Call me whatever you like but I don't find joy constantly being killed by Gepards with Aphids or Mag in less than 20 secs. You have so many of them running constantly at you.
Having said all that I still find this game one of the better one. Good luck and happy warring.
