" frunobulax " 5th slot is 625 premium currency. If you're running 3 bots, replace lancer with killshot and Paragon with Panther. That's what I did But it's the weapon that are the problem. Without any way to grind "silver", I can't even buy Longshot or the like, let alone upgrade my bots. For the drop rates, go into the fortune vault screen, press any of the pictures under the actual crates to open a screen with a preview of all of the rewards in that crate. At the header of that preview screen, you will see a circled "i". That's where you'll find the % The 20 crate has the lower chance of dropping premium currency, but pays out $20 worth. It's basically for skins. The 10 has a 40% chance of currency, 20% Credits, 20% Premium. Skins and skins don't drop duplicates, so the eventuality of owning all of the skins would make the 20 chest drop premium currency every time. That's a loooooong road though. That's valuable information. Thanks. Tournament is the mode to grind beyond the daily limit. It's 60 premium currency for an additional 10 tournament rounds. Tournament scoring is based on medals(Double kill, revenge etc), kills, wins and losses. Even if you get 10 kills, 9 medals, and win, it only nets about 300 points a match. If you run into SEA players who got the game first, they're rolling 20+ kills a match, and are the only people that are actually reaching 3k scores without using purchased tickets. When you see the tournament scores go nuts, just let the game demote you. If you rank in the tournament, and think you can secure the top spot to win 500+ premium by buying a handful of extra tickets, do it. Is there a list of tournament payouts? And do you start in the lowest bracket in every tournament? I managed 2nd place in the last one. The #1 spot had 2k points more than I did, and I didn't feel like grinding. (By the looks of it, he would have made sure that he stays at #1.) It's eternally frustrating to compete against bots that are so much stronger. Panther/RPG is a decent enough bot, but it still feels like playing Stalkers against Leos in some matches. It's even more frustrating as I could unlock the mechs/weapons, and would actually like to spend money on this game (I enjoy it, and I always spend a few bucks on mobile games that I enjoy), but I can't.

How is the MD bot, worth replacing the Juggernaught

How is the MD bot, worth replacing the Juggernaught I'm def no expert... but I enjoy the MD more.
I think the Jug is better or at least damn good once it's leveled and you can put higher energy cost weapons on it.
MD is faster, can tank decently with the heals (Unlike War Robots you don't lose bits of health once damaged... you can heal all the way up to 100%) but I like supporting other Jugs and front line Blues with it, more. Throw on a pair of Jav 4s on it when first bought (and therefore not leveled up so not much energy to use for weapons) and you can support from the back while healing your blues. I am nowhere near end-game though... So I can't speak to that and will let Redfiend chime in if he sees this, with a more direct answer.
In all though, preference-wise, I def prefer the MD. Again, it's faster, fun, and I feel more useful while using it. But I have seen some late game talk and vids where a leveled Jug is pretty damned good, too...
(I know that prolly doesn't help you decide... sorry 'bout that!)

Thanks for the feedback, havent seen much on it, but like playing healers. Time to save up 30k!

So, this ad came up for me and it looked interesting so I gave it a try. It's got elements from all the other mech PvP games and resembles Robot Warfare a bit more that War Robots. Just played through the tutorial and kind of liked it. It's more cartoony than others, but the mech models feel fleshed out and aren't too over the top (at least not yet). Each mech has 2 weapons and the buttons decently sized so you can fire them one at a time. There's a reload button for each weapon too, so you can reload them manually and individually. There's the usual mech abilities like energy shield, jump and rush. You build and upgrade stuff by collecting cards and then spending currency to do the actual upgrade. At least the upgrade is instantaneous! The game play so far has been mostly against bots, but I like the visuals and sound effects. The mechs are on a smaller scale than War Robots, and the speeds are adjusted accordingly. For example, 7 kph in this game feels like 50 kph in War Robots. Aiming is manual with a bit of aim assist to help you follow your target. For example, you have to line up your targeting crosshairs - both horizontally and vertically - but once you do and start firing, the aiming will help by sticking to the target as you move so that you don't have to be completely centered on the target. Move out of the targeting brackets too much though and you'll miss. I think I like this feature the best so far. Playing on phones is hard, so a bit of aim assist is necessary. But I also enjoy the freedom to look around wherever I want and not have to rely on a glitchy targeting system to pick my targets. Doubt this game will completely replace War Robots for me. But, at the same time, I've hardly played War Robots much over the past week or so cause I've been busy with real life, and waiting over 5 days for my Scorpion to go from L8 to L9 is ridiculous, and I have 2 Nightingales at L7 that needs the same treatment, and I just decided to jump on the cryo bandwagon so I'm going to start making Cryos in the WS, and I just finished a Nucleon so that needs upgrading too, and I have a pair of Quarkers at L7, and a pair of Atomisers at L1...you see, it's exhausting...and this game is new and fresh. I'm cautiously optimistic. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plarium.mechlegionOk, downloaded and did my initial check. The graphics are more cartoonish than War Robots, but acceptable. The game design for bots and weapons seem to be a War Robots spinoff as there is a close relationship between the two games. Weapon operation and bot movement seems awkward initially. The reloading requirement detracts from gameplay, and limited ammo seems to be an undesirable liability. The iOS version loads an operation pad much like War Robots but with a couple more keys, making my play on iPad difficult: the keys were a bit too small for my clammy fingers and hitting the reloads required were not user friendly. For my first time in these were my mechanical observations. Gameplay is faster than War Robots and much more fun, no sluggish movement at all. Targeting is far superior to War Robots. Once acquired your crosshairs are not deflected from the opponent easily, which made for a more engaging skirmish. Turning the bot was not impressive: it didn’t. The bot movement was more of a glide, with the bots body stable as it moved. The movement does need a little more work. The onscreen view was stiff as the bot moved, and not quite as polished as War Robots, which seemed to make targeting tricky. ( The best targeting so far, among war games in this genre, is Mech Wars.). OVERALL: Not bad. Everyone needs to check it out. My money wants to invest, so this payday I will toss some coin in and see.

When your guns run dry, the will reload on their own. The manual reload is really for those times when you've finished off an opponent, have a fraction of ammo left and want to reload before you move out of cover. For low ammo guns like the RPG, it's easier to just fire at the wall until you run out. But for higher ammo guns like the Autocannon, Pulse and Plasma cannons, it could take several precious seconds to fire off the remainder of your clip. hence the reload button. Yeah, the buttons can be a pain, but I actually have less trouble with accidental firing than I do with War Robots.

For your control issues (button sizes and such), check out the \Ooptions - Settings menu that can be gotten into from either the hangar or in-game (you can also change sensitivity there). I posted a video in this thread that shows how to get into it, but I was changing a different option. You can change the layout of the buttons using presets. I have a decently sized iPhone and ended up going with the Tablet B option.

Not sure where, but yes, I did 2 weapons if energy <10 1 weapon if energy >= 10
A bit confusing at first, but OK. The UI is a bit dumb, showing 2 weapons of the same kind instead of indicating how many are left.

When tournaments are running, you can see the rewards on the ranking screen. If you click the widget with your current tournament rank, there should be a button on the splash screen labeled "Guidelines". The tab opens up the general info for how tournament works, the top rewards for each bracket, and the map rotation for the current week. Everyone starts in Novice in the first week. I'll use my last tournament set as an example: Heat 1: Novice: Ranked, promoted Heat 2: Amateur: Ranked, promoted Heat 3: Expert: Spent 60 coins for 10 tickets. Ranked 1st by being 1500(about an hour of tournament grinding) points above rank 2 when I logged off. Won 500 premium, 16k credits, extra credits from the "Amatueur Crate", won 375 premium from the 10 key chest. Heat 4: Master: Played one game. Top score was 6000. Unranked, demoted. Heat 5: Expert: Same as heat 3 Heat 6: Master: Spent 100 premium on 20 tickets. Beat rank 2 by 1500 points. Won 900 premium, 20k credits, a crate, and a skin from the 10 key chest. So, I spent about 200 premium throughout the week to win 2275 premium, 40k credits. Progressing my hangar was: Week 1: Killshot: RPG4 Juggernaut: Autocannon4/2 Panther: RPG6 Paragon: Thermal lance6 V Week 2: Killshot(R3): RPG6(Rank2) Juggernaught(R2):RPG4 Panther:Thermal Lance4, Longarm 8 Paragon(R2): Thermal Lance4, Longarm 8 V Week2:$10 flash sale Paragon: Javelin6 Juggernaut(R3): Plasma cannon6 V Week 3: Killshot: Javelin6 Paragon(R3): Long arm 8 Panther: RPG6 Juggernaut: Plasma Cannon 6 V This week after Tournament: Killshot: Javelin 6 Paragon: Long arm 8 Panther: RPG6 (2 levels shy of rank 3) Juggernaut: Pulse cannon 6 Guardian: Pulse Cannon 8 It's really just planning ahead. The $10 flash deal was just 1k a coins and bonus crates. Which I bought Javelins and ranked up Juggernaut with. I'm about to hit division 2. The only things that really insta-kill are rocket mortars(the Tea party weapons) and getting chumped by long arms. Both can be avoided with map consideration. You have to play to the strength of your bots. Panther and Paragon are made out of paper compared to Juggernaught, so you shouldn't try to brawl against them directly. Juggy is the most solid of the starter bots and can be brought all the way to end game. If you're not abusing angles and your bot's special ability, you're going to get steamrolled. Cover is your friend, and the maps are made to abuse the 3D plane in firefights. Use every bit of cover and high ground you can fight. Try to stick with teammates. Concentrated fire is king.

I changed the reload to swipe up on the firing button in the settings, made it much easier to deal with. Also changed camera speed to 100, I rotate better now. I like how these robots move, its more robot ish when they step.
I also skipped the Jug on my reload account and went to the panther with rpg6's. So Day 1 I ended up with Killshot, Paragon, Panther as my lineup. Debating on replacing Paragon with MD or just waiting until Guardian

How is the MD bot, worth replacing the Juggernaught I'm def no expert... but I enjoy the MD more.
The thing is, in higher leagues or tournament brackets I get 1-shot with my Panther. So I guess a MD might go down fast, in most games. I'm really not sure about the Juggernaut. I can't seem to find a good weapon loadout, not fast/durable enough for close range weapons, not enough energy for long range. But apart from that, yes, I'd certainly like to try the MD. After I get the 65k for the, what was the weapon called? And I've got so many other bots to level up... Pity that we don't know the unlock prices of the other, high level bots. If they are like 300k, it's probably no biggie to unlock the MD. If they're more like 60k, I might save my credits. And we don't know the upgrade prices for the bots either...

Might be personal preference, but I prefer Panther and Killshot over Juggernaut, by far. Juggernaut just doesn't have the firepower, I've been nibbling at enemy robots for eternities, especially enemy juggernouts. I guess the problem is that a good War Robots player progresses fast, and eventually hits opponents that are much better levelled. I couldn't upgrade anything due to lack of credits, so all my bots and weapons are still at baseline (1 star). Seems like most of the bots I face now have 3 stars, and access to weapons that I don't know and have. So if my Juggernaut faces another Juggernaut, I can barely drop their shield with my RPGs or Autocannons, while they do significant damage. And the Jug is not fast enough to run in circles around opponents, which I do a lot with my Killshot.
The power difference is real. I mean, my hangar strength is now 410 or whatever, and I'm facing opponents with 2200 or something like that in some games, 1000+ in almost all games. Also there seems to be some lag, I sometimes get killed by RPG6 bots without noticing my health drop at all. Apart from that I get War Robots moments now. Games where I lose but have twice the score of the second best player on my team.
This game appears to be VERY laborious if you can't spend a few bucks for "silver" (forgot what the currency is), which I gladly would, but which the game denies me.

My experience was nothing like that. Maybe it's because you're in the SEA servers while using an emulator. I'm in NA so everything has been smooth. The most I run into in Division 2 is 1600 hangar power, the most I ran into back in division 5 were AI bots with 12-1400 Focus on ranking up juggernaut. It has 20k at rank 2 and over 30k at rank 3. Grinding beacon rush when you're not getting tokens/XP is a terrible idea that leads to a bad experience. Idk how you got to division 5 without getting enough currency to get all of your bots/weapons to rank 2+ by division 5, unless you're trying to upgrade everything instead of focusing what will have longer staying power through progression. I didn't even spend the $10 until I was 1500 points in to division 3.

I must be wired different or something, because I just could not get into this game. It all looks so convoluted, between how upgrades work and the bizarro process of acquiring gear, I couldn’t get my brain around it and nothing made much sense to me. And in game play, I kept whacking controls I didn’t want to. It got very frustrating very quickly. Thanks for the suggestion, but sorry guys, this one ain’t for me.

Idk how you got to division 5 without getting enough currency to get all of your bots/weapons to rank 2+ by division 5, unless you're trying to upgrade everything instead of focusing what will have longer staying power through progression. I didn't even spend the $10 until I was 1500 points in to division 3. The problem is a major lack of information. For a bot, all I can see is the energy limit when I rank up, but I can't see the cost and/or the change in XP. Therefore I wouldn't know if it's worth ranking up Juggernaut or Panther, or which weapons are worth it.
Advancing leagues is really easy I mean, I think my first 60 games were almost 50 wins, usually first. That's 2500 points. And with a good position on the losing team, that's already well into division 5. And I play because I enjoy the game, and sometimes because I have elusive missions. (Today I have to earn "under the radar", 4 captures with one bot. I managed 3 captures maybe 10 times, but always got killed after that.)
If you exclude the income from the daily tasks (which is fixed, IDK, maybe 10k "silver"?), you can't earn that much. Maybe another 10k from chests, if you're using all your tokens? Unlocking a mech like Killshot takes 1.5 days of play, unlocking Pulse Cannon takes 3 days.
I'd love to see detailed information about upgrade costs. Would help a lot to decide which bots to level.

Bots have six ranks and sublevels in the ranks. So for one star you need to upgrade 7 times. Going up a rank appears quite cheap, although I expect that to change with higher level ranks - nothing above 3 ranks so far. For each level you need the required blueprints and money to purchase it. Daily deals and luck in the boxes to get the blueprints. it does appear that at rank 6 you can get a second bot of the same type.

Acquiring new bots and weapons is a linear progression based on how much XP you having, meaning everyone can have the same gear, you just need to play to unlock it. Upgrades are based on how many blueprints you win in crates, as you upgrade bots your hardpoints can handle higher energy level weapons I had issues with controls too because i was panning my crosshairs like war robots. This game doesnt have the same area near the buttons that you can contol the screen like War Robots, i need to move my right thumb closer to the crosshair away from the buttons to no accidentally trigger weapons

Just a quick word about Juggernaut...
This bot really sucks at low level, but once you rank it up...holy moly. I've faced some high level Jugs in the game and they are damn hard to take down. You cannot take down a high level Jug with a smart pilot without at least 2 blues. It just cannot be done. The shield is different from an Ancile. It has to go all the way down and then there's a cool down period and then you can snap it back again to full strength. A smart Jug pilot knows how to rinse and repeat this really well. Plus when you rank up the bot, you get more energy. a Jug with 12 energy means that you can put on guns with energy level 6 on both arms, or do the higher/lower approach.
But, if you shelled out the couple of bucks for an Ares, then I wouldn't bother upgrading the Jug. You really don't need more than one tank in your hangar at once. If you're F2P or are just trying out the game, then by all means, upgrade that Jug. Heck, even the Lancer and Paragon are really dangerous once you've leveled them up. I ranked up my Paragon and am able to put Javelin 6 on it. It's a ton of fun and I have to play smart with it.
One nice quirk about this game is that when you get weapons, you always get them in a pair. When you upgrade them, they upgrade as a pair. Even if you end up only using one of the weapon, both still get upgraded.

Love the Panther by the way, thing can be a beast with the heavier hardpoint levels. Was battling it out with this Ares in one battle, once I switched sides and duked it out with the Ares player, our team made a comeback

Just had a knockout dragout in Tournament with another similarly leveled player after coming off of a bad trouncing in a previous Tourney match...
The teams on this one were pretty balanced in terms of performance... and my opposite on the Red Team made me amp up and get into it like I haven't since War Robots Britbot days... was a BLAST.
He ran a few good bots but the one that stood out to me was the Guardian with Missile Rack. That bot basically does an EMP (even though you can still move your weapons and defenses are temporarily shut off) and with those weapons he was tearing us up. I had to use my Missile Rack Panther and Pulse Cannon Ares to counter him as much as possible and somehow we eeked out the win. I saw a LOT of corner shooting and good teamplay in the last few games... starting to finally get into the good stuff (haven't been playing much lately due to RL but knocked out several games during lunch for a change.)
Really liking this game more and more.

I liked the Lancer. It was a ton of fun playing those maps that had ramps and stuff. I could jump over heads and on to ramps and really be a monkey. Part of me wants to upgrade mine and field it again, but part of me thinks that those early games were likely against bots. Plus, I love my Killshot and I'm very close to getting the little stealth mech...not sure if I will end up getting it though, cause I like the aggressiveness when cornered aspect of the Killshot. The stealth bot...I don't see many in the game and those that I do see aren't piloted right. They should be used to go deep into red territory and hunt the Javelin and Rocket Mortar mechs, but most people seem to use them to backstab others.

Upgrade costs tend to be the same in Credit cost across all items of the same rank/Level. Rank ups cost different amounts on an item to item basis. Blueprints(cards) are color coded, so grey item card costs are all the same, but different from green item card costs etc. Yea, you won't be able to see the next Rank's HP/Ability modifier until you get to level 7 and actually have it available. Generally speaking, each rank up is about 5K HP, each level is 400-600 HP. Token chests add up to like 5-8k a day. The daily tasks are another 5-10k, 7 if you count the chest for 5 completed missions. Daily tournament is 1K+, all the way up to 20K+ for the tournament farm I mentioned earlier. And as for your 90% win rate that early. Don't be afraid to lose a bit. The game will seriously hate you with AI if your W/L is higher than 75%. A lot of the dumber user names are bots. If you get hit by Long Arms by a speck on the other side of the map, chances are that it's a bot. My average upgrade costs 17K, and I tend to get an average of 1.5 upgrades in a day, so payouts are like 20-25K a day if you're playing your cards right. Most times I end up waiting on blueprints more than credits at this point. Unlike War Robots and most of the other bot games, the premium currency here is thoroughly encouraged to be spent in order to earn more. I've spent premium to win more in tourneys and to buy at least 300k credits, without spending any of the premium I actually purchased to do so. I spent that 2.2k Premium from last weeks tourney for the 5th slot/Guardian(1700), 20 tournament tickets(100) and the rest was topping off on credits to get pulse 8s.

There are pros and cons to both of them. For everyone here, this guy is a little further ahead than I am, but he actually compares the bots in beacon rush while all the other channels I've found on this game are end game players that show off on murdering things in Tournament: www.youtube.com/c/MECHKILLERMECHARENA

The problem is a major lack of information.[...]
I'd love to see detailed information about upgrade costs. Would help a lot to decide which bots to level. Unlike War Robots and most of the other bot games, the premium currency here is thoroughly encouraged to be spent in order to earn more. I've spent premium to win more in tourneys and to buy at least 300k credits, without spending any of the premium I actually purchased to do so. Information again. Wanna start a Wiki? I'm one of the guys who knows DPS, damage rates and bullet spread rates in War Robots, and uses these information to build hangars. I find lack of information a bit frustrating, more advanced players have a big advantage anyway, why can't we at least get the information to catch up as quickly as possible? Even Pixo released a table with upgrade costs at some point.
For the tourney, I can do the math. Obviously it's worth to spend 100 premium currency for 20 tickets if I can earn more than that. Depends on the level obviously, now in Novice the difference between #1 and #3 is only 1.5k currency and 3 keys. I don't think I will spend 5-10 tickets to catch the 1st player. Higher rounds can give great rewards, obviously, and I guess I'll try to crack the top 3 at least if I can with reasonable time investment. Timezone helps a bit, as I usually get up shortly before the round ends. So I can build a basis before I go to bed (like 2000 points or whatever), and decide if I want to play 4-5 more games right at the end of the tourney day, or not.
I figured that I may spend some premium currency, but only after I unlocked all the interesting weapons. Play styles differ, and I won't know if I want the weapons unless I unlock them. I will ignore the low-energy versions (who needs 2 and 4 energy?) and weapons like the mortar (probably not my playstyle), but I guess I want a Javelin Rack, Pulse Cannons and Missile Racks. Who knows what the stronger bots/weapons cost? I certainly don't want to play with RPG6 as best weapon until I've unlocked them all to see the costs.
But for a guy with very limited patience like me, it's hard being forced to go f2p... Not that I'm a whale, but for say 10-20 bucks I can usually get a nice starter package, or something to boost my development. I do love to experiment with different playstyles and weapons. Trying to find a middle ground between upgrading what works best for me and unlocking new stuff.

When I say the end game items are a slow grind, I mean it. Carbine 8(Gold card Rank 5 Damage over time weapon) is over 8K premium currency, so about a month of grinding tournament. Essentially, if the items Rank/star count is higher than your current hangar's average rank, don't even think about it right now. The downside to end game weapons is that they take quite awhile to unlock on the EXP track, AND the blueprints for upgrading them drop incredibly slow compared to Grey/Green/Blue class blueprints. I'm terrible at actually maintaining a wiki lol. End game set ups, equip to max en possible with weapons listed. RPG 6 can fill in for missile racks at low levels: Light Bots: Lancer: Javelin, Missile Rack MD: Javelin, Missile rack Shadow: Missile Rack, Pulse cannon, Plasma Cannon Cheetah: Javelin, Missile rack Medium Bots: Juggernaut: Plasma Cannons, Pulse cannons, Missile rack, Carbines Killshot: Javelins, Missile Rack Ares: Javelins, Missile Racks, Plasma Cannons, Pulse Cannons, Carbines Zephyr: Pulse cannon, Carbines, Missile rack, Long Arms Brickhouse: Same as Juggernaut Heavy: Paragon: Long Arms, Long arm 8+Railgin, Rocket Mortars Panther: Same as Paragon, Missile Racks, Pulse cannons, Carbines. Guardian: Same as Panther. My personal teir list from what I've seen of this game: S Rank: Zephyr, Killshot, Shadow, Juggernaut A Rank: Guardian, Panther, Ares, Brickhouse B Rank: MD, Cheetah C Rank: Lancer, Paragon Weapons from start to end: Javelins: All levels RPGs -> Missile Racks Auto Cannons -> Pulse/Plasma -> Carbines Rocket Mortars: All levels Long Arm 8 -> Long Arm 10 -> Long arm 8+ Railgun 16 Thermal lance: Support weapons to slot in at odd energy limits. They debuff the enemy to take 50% more damage from all sources. Every player applies their own overheat Debuff, so if 2 people are shooting the same target with thermal Lance's, they will take 2x damage. Stasis Beam: Same ammo and firing mechanics as thermal lance, it applies the status that Panther's wall applies to bots that walk through it. Paired with mid/long range weapons, you can screw enemies out of their retreat. Stasis also effects enemy turn speed, so this gun puts a big Bullseye on anything you hit with it.
