Coming along.  I’m also working on a Hammer/Cudgel Strider as well. It’s farther behind, though. I know you know, but with rockets you gotta be hella selective when unloading. You’ve been away for awhile, there’s probably a half dozen new na na na na na na u can’t shoot me icons you gotta know, or else those rockets get wasted fast, then your bot even faster |

On some it seems like they have 3 different bubbles. Iâm still trying to figure that out. Still learning about the additional mechs that teleport. Trying to figure out how Iâm getting shot through walls. No, not the bendy guns. Not the orbital guns. Iâm watching 「dookie」 go through walls and hit me. Trying to figure out how I can get bubbles added to my drone without spending a fortune. Iâve learned that while my rockets have a 300m range, in practicality I need to be under 150m or Iâll miss with 1/2 of them. Iâve learned I need to watch out for Menders and Demeters to heal all my grey damage. |

Poopface you dont get bubble layers from drone alone, it is from the combination of ability shield, drone, and mothership. The Northlight in particular has a special stacking multiplier going on so its worth reading that. But also you should try to get inside an ally Aegis blast zone as often as you can.

The Northlight in particular has a special stacking multiplier going on so its worth reading that. But also you should try to get inside an ally Aegis blast zone as often as you can. For strider, I figured I’d try to get a bubble there. I do try to take advantage of others’ shields, but I tend to be the only one (or one of two) going for beacons. A lot of passive players, unfortunately. |

So the new Shenz map gives a nod to Strider. NICE!  category RT = Real Tough ð IMO the best map to stride the 「fluffernutter」 out because of the flat flat smoothiness of the terrain |

I'm running a bane/toxin setup with midea pilot on my strider, switched to the acid weapons from ice rockets and am certainly more competitive with my strider now. Curious why the acid weapons don't seem to be popular with this group?
That said, I'm outfitting a second strider and thinking about the new shotguns as options.

I asked about them earlier today in another setting and was told people shy away from them because they stink vs the yellow bubbles, taking longer for the DOTs to take them down. Makes sense to me. |

This is correct. The Aegis stacking is so frequent and so strong that the base damage of acid weapons isnt strong enough to knock them down. You have to be super tactical and selective to make them work in general. This is why I switched to flames for now. However, I am going to give Bane Toxin Strider a run and see what happens. |

So, I bought a gold+Black Market pack this morning to take advantage of the 50% BM advancement boost. I ended up with a second Nuke Amp which is currently added to my 2nd Strider (although I've toyed with doubling up on my 1st Strider or mounting to my Mender).
Because I got all that gold, I also took advantage of the pilot event to boost skills and advance to the next tier.
Obviously, I need to level up the modules. I also need to take the two Rimes from 2/3 to MK3 when I get enough silver and there's a reduced cost event.
As with Strider 1, I need to level up the modules. I need to see if I can find another Anticontrol module floating around somewhere that I can use instead of the Balanced Module. The pilot needs more leveling. I also need to take the guns from 1/8 and 1/9 upward to increased functionality. I also would be well suited to get a second Beak drone; I'm currently using a Persephone with it.

I just built a second Scatter to tag along with the first one I won from a chest. Yes, I'm that far behind the times.
As far as blast shotguns, I assume you're referring to Hammer/Cudgel? If so, those are on Strider #2.
Unfortunately, I don't have any other fully complete Heavy/Light pairings of what's new besides the Blights currently on my Mender (Decay is currently unused). It's moot because I don't see Decay/Blight as being a good pairing with my playstyle for Strider. Smuta/Kramola is enticing, but I'm missing one Kramola.

So, my line of thinking with the hanger is one Strider with SuckerPunch focus (currently frost, perhaps Sonics later), one Strider with ~500m range capability (currently blast shotguns, but could be something like Nucleon/Quarker, Smuta/Kramola, or Hel/Snaer), Mender with slightly longer range (600m), Typhon w/ blast shotguns, and a wildcard (currently flame Hades).
With all the new stuff I've recently won via BM or Special Delivery I have a lot of new stuff to level including 5 mechs in addition to some of my stuff that was already relatively underleveled. Trying to avoid wholesale overhauls although there are a lot of options. Focusing on guns at the moment since those convey, although, I enjoy playing Mender and Striders so I'm perfectly cool with investing in them. ------------------ Edit: Neglected to mention that I have blast shotguns on my 500m range Strider. Good grief. Am I considering building a 3rd Strider?!?  |

Spent the entire match on Carrier in my first drop (Frost Rockets) and never dropped farther back than C beacon. Was a relatively short match because we never had less than 3 beacons and often had 4. Was a nice payout for such a small damage score, no healing, and no Titan drop. That said, it was great to stay in the Strider the entire match!  |

I stacked 2 repair amps with a balanced on my opener with beak drone. McLuvinnit. I’m going 2 Heavy Armor Kit and 1 Balanced on the rest |

Iâm not positive, but I think his reasoning was that my play style is more of a risky 「dookie」 starter than a damage stacker, so I require more repair? Whatever works for you is what you stick with. |

I run two nuke amps and an anticontrol. Along with bane/toxin and Madea pilot. It's the only bot/weapon/pilot/module combo I've ever maxxed out and I have been very competitive with my strider in low champ league. I'd go go power over longevity, striders longevity comes from elusiveness. Use cover, know where to dash to cover while facing your enemy and you will be incredibly frustrating to the reds. I can tell when they start focusing my lowly strider specifically

Cooler than that was I was recording, cooler still was this disco party screen grab at the end I gotta juice up the audio before I post it, haven’t done a Strider vid in ages! Request from the cheap seats: Please do a longer video. The 30 sec snippits are great, but it's like showing up to a post-fast buffet and getting told you're only getting broth. |

The passion is back   Fell into some good fortune recently and decided to treat my boys. I know, I know, how could I give these crooks my money when theyâre neglecting our beautiful game so badly? Well Iâll tell you my reasoning. I recently hit 50K victories using all nilla wafer pilots the whole time, so I puffed out my chest a bit and said âIâm good enough, Iâm handsome enough, and doggone it, people like me!â Not really, but I deserved it anyways. Iâve been hunting down and SuckerPunching landing giraffes for awhile now, majority of the results were always me beating the piss out of them just before they took to the skies and finished me off. Well, that 「dookie」 got old and I knew that if I had 5X Uncle Jack on my side, these assassination attempts would be more rewarding for me. And here we are. |
