MM RANTS!

I'm in Silver 1. Just had a match where only two players were Silver. The other 10 were gold. Lol

Just started a few days ago. How can I compete with players kitted out like this?  Is this P2W ?  Sure looks that way.

I have not left early except when I've connection timed out to the hanger, that happened a hand full of times this weekend. I always stay to the bitter end to see my match stats.

Not much of a change compared to last night.   The first 3 matches tonight were fun and evenly balanced, then from the 4th match til I gave up for the night it was 2 or 3 shot deaths.  I have patience for a few more days, but I prefer to spend my play time doing something more enjoyable than this.  If the game keeps on this track it's a waste of time for me. 

More of the same with a new twist where players don't move from the spawn point.  Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.  I'm done. Maybe if someone from pix ever reads this they will learn why the player base is what it is.  They have my $10, not  giving them anymore.

Well, I have to confess, the cursed MM gods have been smiling on me the last couple of days. I just moved back up to Gold, so I was expecting to have to don the mandatory seal suit and take my lumps. But that didn't happen, at least not as bad as it has in the past. No, my win % hasn't sky-rocketed -- at last check it was still right around 50%. But I've been pretty lucky in that, for a welcome change, the game conditions have been favorable for the challenges I've been trying to meet. Yesterday it was a ton of beacon caps; I stacked up my hangar with 5 Cossacks and went nuts on beacons, the exact number of which I lost track of, but it's whatever was in the middle of the Carnage challenge, and finished them in a couple of hours. Yesterday evening and today it was wins first, and I got lucky and got with mostly decent teams that actually knew how to win, and the teams were mostly evenly matched.

This morning I had a first time challenge, for 150 WP -- complete 15 games and be among the top 3 players. Wins/losses didn't matter, it was just max damage. Again, I was on mostly very evenly matched teams, and I banged those out in a few hours. Now it's just kill 73 bots, after having just killed 73 more previously -- 3/5 of the way to an Orkan. That is mostly up to me and my hangar, but it's also helped that I'm not getting teamed with and against diamond and expert leaguers every game.

I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop and the bloodletting to resume, but for now I'm enjoying a decent stretch of fair and competitive games.

It's crazy on amazon. I've lost almost every match for three days straight but been first on my team in every one. They just keep putting me with low level players who don't know how to move and fight, let alone beacons?!!!! Mostly two or three afk in each game too.

Apparently there are NO other diamond 3 players in this game anywhere. All night I'm either alone on the field against diamond 2 and higher, or the only diamond among gold and silver imbeciles who can't win a game to save their life. So I'm either getting pummeled to shreds at the bottom of the damage list, or top damage and caps on the losing team -- mostly the latter. And of course I'm on the win 8 games task, and tonight will be the first time since I started playing this game that I have shut the game off for the night without completing a task.

This is why the Rants section is as active as it is.

Edit: So as bad as it was last night finishing tasks, tonight I knocked out heavy bot damage, 18 kills, and the three 30k silver wins in less than an hour. Can't figure this 「dookie」 out. 

Alright, I know it's pointless to rant about the MM, but I have to vent.  I just played the most egregiously matched game I've ever played:





Every single one of their team was maxed out hangar, champion league.  We had 0 maxed out hangars and 0 champion leaguers.  In fact, there were no master leaguers on our side either.  All expert league you say?  Nope half diamond, half expert.  Here are the top and bottom for both teams:









Sometimes it fails because the MM tries to put squads on both sides, but there were not squads on our side.  Maybe there weren't any champion level squads looking to play at that moment, but no heavy hangars/champion leaguers to put on our side at all?!  I would seriously rather wait several minutes for a match than to have to run through the cheese grater that was this game!

The current champions league mm is disgusting. I have low 30% win rate yet my league point is still steadily increasing, don't know how that's possible (punishment for not playing with a pro team?)

Also it's ancilots everywhere, any team without it is auto lose, rockets are mostly useless (but OP to people who dare to not use ancilots), such black-and-white gameplay is becoming extremely boring.

My clan (mostly diamonds, a few golds) had a whole string of these tonight. Different clans, all champions, which makes Pix's excuse that they don't have enough high-ranked squads a bit of BS. In my mind, anyway.

Yor MM (match making for those that are as new as I am) is horrible, Bronze3 going up against gold, and higher is a joke! I formed Guardians of War, and turned it over to a clan mate, which for me is the first step to deleting the game! If asked if I would recommend this game, I would have to answer honestly and say emphatically NO, if you are not a wallet warrior.

What in the fudge was that?
