Not that I'm convinced a cossack is viable at higher tiers, but I will say I loved how you worked that Dash over at about the 6:15 mark. And really like the 2:1 speed. Thanks m8

Another great match with new friends thanks to the War Robots Forum. Linked up with 4 other guys from 2 other clans we wouldn't have otherwise ended up playing with - The server dropped a couple pilots on each side and it ended up being a 4v4 throw down - Awesome!

I'd really like to tag forum members when I post these but facebook/pilot/forum names don't always match up. If this is you in the video drop a comment so the community knows who they are rooting for!

Greetings, Pilots! The "Do Over" series will focus on growing your hanger towards level 12, from match 1, investing as little as possible. Along the way, I'll get to enjoy the crazy world of early gameplay all over again, where you never know what monstrosity is waiting around the corner!
Join me and my Crazy Cossack "Stenka" for a Nostalgic journey revisiting early levels, with the added twist of the new league system! 5-10 Minute episodes will be released as the account progresses and I will discuss the reasoning behind my hanger choices and combat strategy.
War Robots - Hanger Leveling Guide - The Do Over - EP 1 - Smart Choices *The edit is a little rough on this one, it took me a while to work out the concept*

Is 10 minutes too long if it is broken up between hanger chat and match analysis with some interludes of music & mayhem mixed in?

Great News!!
Your custom Griffin tutorial/challenge video is complete and online RIGHT NOW!! I had to cut the number of matches down from 8 to 6 (1 for each map) and even then it's quite long (30min!). Hope you enjoy!

Video requested by my good freind from geparddiary.com/ & War Robots Forum moderator Dred77. I'm going to copy & paste the request verbatim: "Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I have a request. My 6-year old son Liam just came up to me and told me that I made a mistake buying a Carnage recently. What I should have done, according to him, is to have bought a Fujin, because I could put three Tulumbas on it. Now, my son is actually not terrible at this game, despite his age. He got placed in Gold League, which blew me away. So...can we test his theory with Tulu Fujins?" Luckily, I also play War Robots with my Daughter occasionally & she has a L7 Fujin and the required Tulumbas. This was my first time really giving the Fujin a try & I think just might have to get one!

Feel free to discuss your impressions of the changes or comment on the video - Thanks for watching What’s new: — New heavy machine gun prototype: ammo 50; reload time 10s, range 800m, damage per hit 1230, fire rate 3.4/s; SR:I like what Pixonic has done with the weapon so far I still feel the projectiles need some additional damage & I would like to see the clip size increased to 100 rounds. I'm hoping once Pixonic has the performance balanced we will see some improved sounds and visuals. — New medium robot prototype: HP 118K, speed 44 km/h, ability cooldown 12s; energy shield HP 59K; SR:Feels balanced, Skin is cheesy — New heavy robot prototype: HP 140K, speed 37 km/h, ability cooldown 15s; physical shield HP 140K; SR: Feels balanced, Sheild needs to cover more front for sure and maybe more flank. Please don't give it a cheesy skin. — New Pin, Pinatas and Tulumbas mechanic: reloading while firing and damage decreased by 13%; P.S. I like the 3D models but the textures (mostly the colors) are cheesy SR: Yes please for the Pinata, No for the Pin & Tulumbas. Instead, maybe slightly buff the Pin, slightly nerf the Tulumbus & set reload for both to 12-14 sec. — Gekko: new model and rebalance: level 8 damage 2350 SR: I like it, please make sure the upgrade curve protects light & medium bots at low levels.

I think the shield on that brute should stay how it is. Kind of the little quirk that it should have, sacrifice your attack for defense by turning slightly to use shield.

Yep, it seems to cover from about your 9 o'clock to your 10... If it was 8 to 11 I'd be down... would make for a cool block & parry melee style knifer..like what everyone thinks there going to do when they buy the ECU patto There is however a very slight window where the angle is perfect to block front and hook fire Hydras at a target in front of you!

Yea I guess it's hard to use a shield that takes some finessing if the turret can't move it where you want it! Missiles can come from any direction rather quickly.

I'd settle for a little extra pep in the turret speed, you could at least adjust in time block partial salvos that are not fired directly at it. If they get it right 2 MKIII's with Taran's in a knife fight would be like watching a greek sword & spear battle!

After having so much fun tooling around in a Vityaz on the level 8 capped test server I couldn't resist doing the same for Golem, one of my early favs! The fact that the Golem is the only robot from the FFA faction I had the idea to do a series of "Faction Hanger" videos and look for any common traits among each family.... thoughts?

What is the FFA faction? Around these parts FFA is an educational group for high schoolers and stands for "Future Farmers of America"
haha...unless these are game currency farming bots? jk

What is the FFA faction? However, due to the game only having one definitive robot available for the FFA, it is unknown whether other countries belong to this faction. Based on the only definite robot currently available, FFA robots seem to sacrifice armor for large amounts of firepower and a decent speed; the Golem shares a similar weapons loadout with the German Leo but with a little over half the hitpoints and a considerably better speed. The Golem holds the record of having one of each type of hardpoint: light, medium and heavy. It is also the most well-armed medium robot with one heavy hardpoint, with Boa and Vityaz in a tie for 2nd.

This is good stuff. Good to have videos out there about some builds other than what the mainstream meta is using. Good lesson to learn is that it isn't always the equipment, but learning how to use it properly is what matters!

Good lesson to learn is that it isn't always the equipment, but learning how to use it properly is what matters! Agreed. I definitely would go 5th slot and a Natasha like this before a Fury ~ 300DPM is lost many times over due to match dynamics, it's not a shooting range. The 100m in range hurts a bit, but then again plenty of bots can cover 100m in no time flat. A Clan mate of Dredd77's uses Molots to not only keep the range but have advantage over other Tridents...going to do a follow up vid

Shaolin, I have a request... one that seeing the Natty Trident Pins video made me think of. I would like to see one of my favorite builds in action up in the top levels... Natty Zeus Punishers. I like it a lot, for reasons I have stated in several threads so I won't bog this one down with them again, but with the idea that the Puns are tri-purposed. Target of Opportunity Ancile poppers, Lancelot/Galahad shield breakers when paired with the Zeus (this works surprisingly well on my level) and self defense from bots that decide that they don't want you zapping them with overgrown stun guns.
If you get to do it, great! If not, no worries... cheers for all you do! Keep up the good work!

Sounds good for a Rogue Build episode, Dredd77 , you want to give this a whirl sometime after the couple we have planned out?

Why isn't this thread stickied? It's got nearly as many views as the Loyd Lemar thread and way more replies and activity in it! Combine it with your recent series of "The Do Over", which alone has plenty of activity and views, and shaolinrogue is easily the stickiest candidate on the videos board! Someone give this man a sticker!

If I had but one sticker to give, I would give it to the Merc thread. it possibly offers the most immediate in-game help to noobs & vets alike

War Robots - Hanger Leveling Guide - The Do Over - EP 4 - Going Rogue
Greetings, Pilots! On the journey from Level 15 - 20 no hanger or strategy changes were required & it was business as usual. EP 4 will be our final in-depth look at generating maximum resources with minimal investment in the early game, starting in E5 at level 20 some financial & strategy decisions will need to be made in order for us to stay reasonably competitive.
