HEATHEN HERETIC These events just encouraging tanking even more tbh. I remember during the anniversary event earlier this year, several players including me finished the entire set and got our anarchy rogatka in 3 days. I had final exams coming up so I rushed to finish them so I didn't have any distractions, but it was ALOT of tanking. These events where you have to capture so and so number of beacons or win a certain number of battles encourage tanking even more because of the sheer quantity that players need to do. Everyone probably sees a bunch of cossacks in their games getting beacons and leaving or people leaving many games in succession to get all their wins faster by increasing the amount of games that they are participating in. If the amount we need to do wasn't so much, more people would just play the game normally and still be able to get their rewards in a short amount of time, but you know how Pixonic is lol. If they are giving out free stuff, then they are going to make you work hard for it.

Protesting is allowed as long as you are not doing something that infringes the forum rules. Telling others to tank in order to protest Pixonic's recent actions, however, is not okay. Cheating/exploits of any kind, including promoting such cheating/exploits of any kind, is not allowed on this forum. Hello and good evening. I've only been playing War Robots for a few months. Trying to figure everything out. What is "tanking"?. Love the game.

I want to point out a few things: 1. More tankers have been banned from this forum by you guys than from the game. Lumping it in with cheating is a gross overstatement, pix clearly doesn't view it that way. ... 1. We've only banned around 4-5 tankers(and that's mostly because they were either inflamatory or were ?poo-poo?posters). Pixo has recently started suspending tankers in waves. Pixo is taking actions against tankers. Also, notice how I also mention "exploits"? .... ? Where is this information coming from, Strayed?? Pixonic?? I certainly haven't seen any evidence to support that claim. I'm still seeing tons of tankers, many of which I have ran into many times over from Diamond to all the way down in Bronze throughout my various profiles. I just don't post those t*rds on that stupid Wall of Shame thread because I know by the evidence that I can see that those players are actually sanctioned by Pixonic via Pixonic's very own infamous tanking formula. All one needs to do to accomplish a good tanking is to be the lowest scorer in all matches, and down you will go at a 7+ to 1 ratio. By that I mean if you come in last on the losing side you lose -22 points. That means if you come in last on the winning side you will need to win 7+ matches at +3 points to overcome the -22. And how often does anyone have that kind of winning streak? A 7+ wins to every loss? If by using that formula to one's advantage in finding easier opposition is something that Pixonic actually frowns upon then they wouldn't have used those ridiculous "league" rankings as a part of their matching algorithm. If Pixonic doesn't actually endorse and encourage tanking to create anxiety and frustration in their lower ranked players they would have a decent hanger based mm instead. Because despite what they claim about it I know for a fact that it is not that difficult to make that happen. And I'd like to know exactly how Pixonic says it determines who is tanking(if they actually do at all)? If you have contacts at Pixonic who can tell you I'd certainly be interested in hearing some more of the lies concerning Pixonic and their own "fair gameplay" with tanking and Pixonic's completely despicable dealings with the players that just want to be able to choose the maps that they want play on("leavers queue"). My main profile goes up and down those ridiculous rankings like a yo-yo. Because I am the one who determines what I play with and how I play with it. I do not deliberately tank to lose ranking. I end up tanking as a result of the MM placing me in matches with beacon ignoring f**ktards, my objectives in playing at certain times and my equipment choices. I get bored playing with just brawler bots all the time. And Pixonic has more or less forced us into that condition based on the fact that the damage scoring determines our rewards, both in game currency snd in ranking. It's utter bullsh*t pure and simple. I often change out for an all light lineup just to change the pace of my game play. Plodding along at a snail's pace in medium and heavy bots is extremely frustrating match after match. In doing so I affect my damage potential, to the point that any losses of matches often finds me on the lowest end of scoring damage wise even if my beacon count gets me the Au. Is that really fair? And it's all because of those stupid "leagues". If we had a decent statistical ranking system, in various disciplines, there would be no tanking to deal with. And Pixonic has been made aware of this many times over. But they choose to stick with the frustration creating tanking algorithm and a ridiculous ranking system that has very little at all to do with player abilities or accomplishment. It's actually about 90% based on player upgrades according to the tanker complaints.

Pixonic will never "crack down" on tanking because it is a form of advertisement.
"Check out how badly these shiny expensive bots just whooped you. And hey check out this cool deal for 700% profit to purchase one right now for $99.99!"

I was about to say the same thing when I noticed HEATHEN CAT's response. I'm coming up against the same tankers daily even after reporting them for the past couple weeks. Proof that Pix is only telling us what we want to hear about tankers/cheaters; one perfect example is player ID 5E7RHU (you're going to have to add him to custom games to confirm what I'm saying for yourself) but this player has an "original" (ignoring the new Mk2) max hanger but yet plays in silver to dominate and hog easy gold from weak players. This is just one simple example and I I save screenshots for every game I notice cheaters and tankers and have at least one hundred screenshots over the past 2 weeks. I then report the player to Pix and get the reply that they will investigate the player, blah, blah. Then I keep coming up against they players. It wouldn't be possible unless I'm also in the Low Priority Queue/Tanker's League but that wouldn't make sense since neither of us will be getting gold or a rating change. Speaking of rating change. If I enter the ID of one of the 100 players I reported and invite them to a custom game in order to see their current rating, it would almost certainly fluctuate daily; meaning they are playing and getting a rating change. Pix claims that Low Priority Queue/Tanker's League players have their rating FROZEN! I really like this game this game and if not for the unfair unbalanced treatment to honest players, it could be one of the best and most fun games on the market. I really wish Pixonic would take our plea seriously, but it doesn't seem to be the case and really makes you sad since they don't appreciate your support. Maybe a wave of Play Store reviews that highlight the flaws can force Pix's hand to act to bring balance to the game.
Does anyone think Pixonic can create a player based rating system in which players give you thumbs up or avoid. In other words you can block cheaters and you never get to be paired with these tankers again. Well, unless it's clan vs clan battle.

Pretty new to reading the forums, but does anyone argue that tanking is, in the long run, bad for the game? My belief is yes. I play for fun, I'm one who likes to play and advance my skill set. I don't need to club a seal to feel important. I don't like winning lopsided matches and I sure as heck don't enjoy being a semi mobile target for a tanker. I've read that there have been numerous suggestions for eliminating tanking. I confess, I haven't read them. It seems that most involve some pretty sophisticated programming that just wouldn't make economical sense to implement. I don't know if this idea has been introduced but I believe the easiest way to stop tanking is to remove the incentives for doing such. I'm not a programmer, but I'm pretty sure it should be an easy task to say that once a player has reached a certain league, they will not earn anything if they play in a lower league. The rewards would go to the highest player of the match that is competing within their own league. I'd like to think that when pixonic first introduced the game their mindset was that everyone would want to advance to the highest level of competition. That would explain why you only gain a few points for winning but lose a large number for losing. The end of month rewards should be significantly higher the higher the league you reach. Unfortunately for the community, some have discovered that the fastest way to gain rewards is to tank and be a seal clubber. I know that if I had just started the game and I had run into this problem, the app would have been uninstalled pronto. If you don't get new players, pretty soon the population starts to implode upon itself. This has happened in a few games that I am aware of, I suspect the actual number is pretty impressive. If a company wants to generate revenue, why not take a game that can be tremendously fun, such as war robots, provide a trial period for people to find that they really do want to play it, and then start charging a subscription fee. Blizzard made phenomenal money with that business model, and last I looked, still going strong.

I recently deleted the app by accident and then immediately redownloaded it but lost all progress and in app purchases. I contacted support through the game but never heard back, can anyone help? What system are you on? If iOS did you connect to Game Center? If Android dis you connect to Google Play? If yes, then getting your data back is easy. Not sure if connecting to Facebook enables you to help recover data. If on iOS and you didnt connect to Game Center, let us know your player name and level. Any officer in a clan can do a Pilot look-up. I'm sure someone here would be willing to do a quick look-up for you to provide you with your pilot ID, and with that you should be able to submit a help ticket and get your game restored. I imagine other platforms have the same capability, but cannot be sure

Just played as a new player. After you finish doing all the noob quest stuff like get a 2nd bot, upgrade weapons, complete a task, etc etc... It will then prompt you that your profile is not in sync with your current process. Do you want to sync progress? Hit Yes and your hanger returns.

Hint: some of them were posted after Sept 29.

Or just run out and get yourself destroyed as quickly as possible. Maybe self-destruct all your bots and then run headlong into enemy fire. Do it until you notice a marked difference in your teammates and opposition and the fact that noone is getting any Au. Or just skip out on every match for a while. Then come tell us all about that imaginary LQ that you don't believe in.

Only thing that happens is losing league points so I can finally be fairly matched against people with similar equipment. Have a screenshot somewhere with Fuxonic help desk telling me they can't do anything about people sandbagging. Will find it at some point and post for your viewing pleasure.

Here is something for your viewing pleasure. A weekend screenshot of what you can expect in the future if you self-destruct bots in matches. I'd like to see PIXONIC lock players out of lowering their rankings altogether. Whatever rank you attain would remain yours until you move up or quit. That is the fairest and easiest fix by far.
