Simple way to get rid of tankers. Remove the leave battle button. Problem solved. Doesn't take rocket science to figure that one out

I've always played games under the pretext that if the game allows you to do it without bringing in foreign software then how could it possibly be a cheat? Maybe it's bad form but not a cheat. To ban players for something the game allows you to do is wrong. If they don't want it to happen they need to fix the format so it doesn't happen. On two fronts it needs to be fixed. First off make it so that dropping battles is impossible or at least not time efficient and second they need to fix the match making so it's more balanced. This isn't on players for taking advantage of what can be done. This is on pix for allowing it to be possible

Yes this makes perfect sense, but it's a matter of time and how long Pix can actually "fix" these core issues instead of just "balance changes"... lol

I'm particularly amused by top clans faux protest changing their clan memos to say they don't support P2W/P2P, and have full maxed Dash hangars, and some even had maxed Inquisitor with maxed flamethrower ...within the first hour of the new update ?

When players revolt:

Pixonic makers of the IOS/Android game War Robots have made some recent decisions that have angered the community as a whole. New robots were introduced to the game in a way that makes the player base feel as if the game is becoming P2W.

Various communities have formed around specific language groups and agreed to the following letter.

Hello my fellow Robot Warrior's: I know there has been quite a bit of concern over the past few days and we have seen a lot of frustration with many players over the lottery system, it's components, the offering of dash bots 1/3 the price to newer pilots and the implications of this turning into a gambling website. Before we look at each one, we need to make sure we stay unified in our efforts and make sure PIXONIC as a company understands our frustrations and demands as a whole. This letter is to promote the needs of many which is the way a company should be run for enjoyment for all.

The following is a list of demands from the gamers of Pixonics War Robots:

1. Elected player representation.

2. All discounts/sales to be offered to All players at the same time and duration.

3. Increased server load to handle the amount of players on the system at any given time.

4. A division dedicated to faster customer satisfaction response.

We understand that the management of this company is under an a lot of pressure to be competitive with other gaming applications out now or soon to drop in the market. But there needs to be a limit of how much you can charge your loyal and devoted players that have helped you make your game great. This message is not from just a few outraged players but thousands and growing, that are ready to continue to participate in this Boycott of spending with the Pixonic company. If you're in agreement with this, post in the comments section with yes and like this post.

Over the weekend, in a move that further angered the community Pixonic decided to offer some of the new gear at a discount to new players only, further angering the veterans.
Has the protest been effective? If you look at the appannie data for the weekend (and continuing today) you can see that a large portion of the community has rallied to the cause. It should be noted that the full updated has not even reached IOS yet and that community is participating in the down voting as well.

The player bases rage is forcing them to look for “creative” ways to send a message to pixonoic. Some have chosen to file PEGI complaints, as the rating was not updated to reflect the addition of gambling to the game. Others have chosen to complain to the app stores directly.

Pixonic did speak about the issue, including it at the end of promotional material around their latest live dev stream: warrobots.net/en/2017/10/02/3100/

The community reaction is probably not what Pixonic was hoping for and the raging continues.

I think to delete this game or will play a battle for a week, just for the sake my hangar.... after these Dash bots any tactics don't work. (I'm playing in Legend League so please any advice how to  play properly the game).  Yea, I still manage to kill them with my bots, but it is difficult to do. I see some noobs spend huge money to get them, and those noobs with lack of experience but with full of Dash bots in their hangar manage to win a battle. This means you should pay to win and no matter how much you played this game you will win if you have that bots... This game teaches to gambling too, and this is not a good habit. So I can not enjoy the game anymore. The game doesn't worth no my time and no my patience... As a game developer, I say: "Pixonic or Mail.ru your game inclined to money not to game itself, and if this thing is visible this is a very bad sign for the existence of the game. "

Takes me just a tiny bit longer to restart as is does to hit the 'Leave' button and start another match. Next suggestion?

Pix has little regards for the leagues. Foremost on their agenda is revenue. Anything else is a distant second. 

They tank people using using the MM. Squading with more than 2 players is a joke. They tank those squads up. The champs get seals from diamond and bronze as well as the ones with op bots. The MM tanks just about everyone in any league perhaps to frustrate people into spending. New players can purchase op set ups and effectively they are tanked. It's a tankathon everywhere by design. Sorry to say but People who don't see this have blinkers on. 

So why on earth are people hung up on some players  that manipulate their leagues in a league system that is close to being meaningless. The whole damned system is tanked! By doing this Pix is maximising revenue generation and the system is screwed up. That's why people tank, stop paying and leave bad reviews. They have a right to do any of those things. It's not against apple/google/pixonic's rules. It's not the players that are screwing up the game it's pixonic. 

Some people invest a lot a lot of time and money into the game prior to the changes. They probably still like blowing up robots and pixonic wants them to stay and play irrespective of what they do. Just in case they spend money and to have a bigger user base. 

at the end of the day it's a mobile game that everyone is encouraged to play as they see fit.
