What about the plasma Rhino? It has both more forepower and more hp than the Haechi. And it can shoot at it while shielded, forcing it to use the dash if it's an open space 1v1. P.s. hello to everyone, I am new to the forums Orkans Haechis eat Rhinos as appetizers before feasting on other bots without ancile. bring out the triple taran fujins!

Sitting back and shooting everything with maxxed out gekkos has been my remedy in this post-play 2 win game world. If there are a bunch of dashes on the field I refuse to engage with anything but lasers at long range or other sniping tactics. I won't run around like a sacrificial lamb to the money gods.
This game has slid hard in playability the past few weeks. I still see some champions with dash free hangars get top ranking on the scoreboard but it's increasingly being dominated by guys with 2+ dashes in their hangar just as we all predicted. The guys cracking million + damage every game are almost always running dashes.

i've actually seen bot pilots eject when ever a dash comes near them (when on same team i mean) not backing them up in a brawl or sharing ancile shield love. seen dashes lit up big time, slagged in seconds like they have big 「bum-bum」 targets painted on them.
ooo.. new weapon thought 'Dash Seeking Missiles' huge restriction med weapon like swarmers long ago can only be used against Dash bots and Dash bots can't mount them on weapons slot. will never happen but thinking about it would probably bring a grin to a face.

P.s. hello to everyone, I am new to the forums Orkans Haechis eat Rhinos as appetizers before feasting on other bots without ancile. They eat pretty much anything. My 10/10 Ancilot melts at one full load of triple Orkans. I don't know what level is hitting me, but it's happened too damn often, before I can unload a whole taran salvo. It has been the single most common cause of my tirades and tantrums lately. The most effective bot I've had against them is my ork Rog. That's most effective, which does not necessarily translate to always successful. That's the one that inflicts the most damage if I can sneak up on it first. The only ones I've been able to kill are those that were already seriously wounded before I got to them.

I hadn't thought of the ole Taran Rog, but your explanation makes perfect sense. *goes to hanger to retrofit mothballed Rog* What other setups did you try? The first thought that comes to mind is the all Taran Doc (which I don't have anyway), but without a jump and a lower speed (51 kph I think) maybe it isn't maneuverable enough. I would think it wouldn't be enough to hold up against the K-ho. I tried a whole bunch of thing. Ⅎ₹ѺC₭₩ELDEℲ₹ 's tip of keeping track of the Dash cool-down is very important, just the same way many Champ players will keep track of when a Griffin had jumped. I do not suggest the doc as the lack of mobility as well as well as the lack of jump is detrimental. And the use of cover is important. The more you need to use cover, the more the Doc's ability becomes useless. Cos when you're shooting at the Haechi, he's shooting at you too. And the 50 range difference sometimes doesnt even require a dash to cover. The trick is to jump and attack when he attacks you. Orkans can now hurt you as you jump through the air, but unless he leads the target VERY well, the dmg is bearable compared to being on the ground. I was talking more close range setups. Because if you are far away (like on Springfield), naturally Trebs hurt Haechis and Kuminhos. I've also had fun peppering a Haechi to death from 800m with a Tempest Fury. RDBs are worthless against Haechis. But can be surprisingly ok against Bulgasaris if you are VERY lucky. All the usual suspects are not as effective as the Haechi's shield helps negate anything with enough DPS. In open terrain with no cover, the Haechi is a sitting duck for a PDB Griffin. But I don't want to have to state such obvious things either. Just to further reinforce your points, I too have found that timing is everything. They are nothing I’ve had to worry about in expert league. (Idk about other leagues)... I play more opportunisticly against the dashes. The dash bot pilots are always quick to use there dashes... all you have to do is stick relatively close with your team and you don’t have to worry... I’ve found that dashes are always #1 priority on everybodies kill list.. so you just watch for their dashes... you don’t have to wait long, the first sign of trouble generally makes them dash then you go for the kill. That’s where a buddy is handy. You just bait them essentially. Burst dmg does best when you finally engage And my DBgriffin makes short work of them.

zepr0fess0r, yes, this sounds reasonable. But it only works if there are one or two Dash bots in the game. If you are against 2 guys running 5 each, your just screwed. So we can discuss tactics against Dash bots all we want. But in my opinion, fighting them is totally annoying and more importantly, mostly impossible. The erratic teleporting back and forth paired with one billion Orkans causes way too much lag. By the time you stop firing at the frozen ghost of your dashing opponent and the game has rendered a new frame, your health is normally already gone and your pilot on its way to the statosphere. How fun. I've come to a point where I see Dash bots as the ultimate fun killer in War Robots. And a game that's no fun is exactly what? If it continues and they become more prevalent, it will drive players away in droves.

Has anyone tried a Taran Fujin? Keep an eye for them but go point to point where you want. As soon as they dash shield up and burst.

Number of Dash bots on red team: 10 Number of Dash bots on blue team: 0 Duration of match: 3:35 (The teams were evenly matched with 2 Champs, 1 Master, and 3 Experts at comparable weapon levels on either side. Our carnageous friend with the 0 0 0 score was rated as an Expert and currently indisposed, but with a maxed Hangar, Champ points, and 4000 victories under his belly, I'd say he has been indisposed more than once recently to get down to 3500 league points. From how the battle went down, another Expert on blue team would probably have extended the suffering by maybe 19 seconds). So how do we fight Dash bots again?

These are the best tactics I've seen used AGAINST my Haechis (w/ orkans):
1) Stalker w/ 2 Magnums. (You might think I'm joking but this one guy w/ a Stalker and 2 Magnums tore me a new @$$hole and I barely got 20% damage on him.) Play the Stalker right and the orkans just fly right past you (so stay within 200-yds, even run circles as you peg the Haechi to death and you laugh your @$$ off).
2) Traditional Tarans/Magnum combos of Rhinos and Griffins. Try to stay at 350m and the orkans can't touch you. And if you're a Griffin, make sure your Jump is not on cooldown when you're near a dash so you can still use it to your advantage as you light us up with the Tarans/Magnums.)
3) If you've got Zeus, keep your range and zap. This obviously doesn't work well during close hand-to-hand combat, but if you're starting with a long-range bot on a map that calls for short-range battles, the problem is you, not the dash.
Against Haechis (w/ scourge): 1) Brit bots w/ Tarans/Magnum. Takes forever to chew through the physical shield at 350m. If you decide to come closer (why would you as your weapons don't increase in damage while the scourge does...) then you're playing it wrong.
2) Zeus, gecko, trebs and rip this guy a new rear end. At 600m, even 3-scourges is more like an annoying itch, but will likely take 4 or 5 full rounds to kill you. By that time, the scourge-echi would have drawn so much attention to himself, he'd be jumped by multiple teammates of yours (if your teammates don't suck), or you would have full-energy treb'd or zeus'd him to death way before 4-5 rounds can occur.
Against Bulgs:
1) Missiles w/ splash damage. The Bulg's physical shield is actually very small. It sometimes feel like it barely minimizes damage instead of blocking it like the Brit bots. It's at an angle off to its left side.
These are the tactics I've found very effective against me when I'm in my Haechi/Bulg. Use terrain to help you when you can. TarAncilots are still annoying unless you give the dash bot a chance to dash up under your grill. Dash bots are more vulnerable than you give them credit for.

I was playing with a good group of guys. Most of us had some Dashies and some very powerful ones. Came across a Chinese clan that had the answer. We won by the narrowest margins but felt thoroughly neutralized. Multiple Ancillots TOGETHER supported by Zeus furies seem the way to go. Bravo to that group.

Actually I’ve been taking note of groups that have played well against dash. The stand out has been triple groups of 2 Ancillots in tight formation with a zeus fury or Carnage. They don’t travel fast but they always seem to get there.

Yes, all nice and true with the Zeuses on a map like Springfield. Not working so much on DC, Moon, Valley, and Powerplant or any other map where them buggers don't come out into the open.

Doesn't deal a whole bunch damage but in squad play works well. I tried to switch things up and ran my lvl 9 carnage with a 9ancile and 11 thunder. Running with a thunder anything lance or behind a Galahad and the synergy is awesome!

I’d like to reiterate that a very practical anti-Dash load-out is the Taran Rog. Last night I took out 3 Haechi’s within two minutes. They are good pilots, I just got the better of them using two tactics:
1) I waited until they were engaged with other battle, and
2) In one on one, the reason I’d advise Taran Rog over Plasma Griff or Fujin is very specifically to do with Rog mobility and low jump cool down. This makes it far easier to withdraw from an advancing Dash, especially Haechi. When choosing your target, it is better to hit Taran Haechi while they’re distracted (because you will be within their weapon range and don’t want to be a target), whereas you can stay just out of range of Orkan Haechi and take em out. Kamiho is easy pickins. With Bulg you have to hit soft spots, so don’t waste shots on its shield. I’m seeing a lot more Taran load-outs and less Orkan on Rog due to this very situation.
Don’t forget to stagger your shots so you’re not left without shots to fire. This means, for those who don’t know, start firing one Taran only, then just past the middle of its clip hit the red button. The first Taran will stop firing soon. While it’s reloading, the other Taran is still firing. By the time it has to reload, the first one you started with will be firing again. The option to have continuous or near continuous fire is preferable to being left weaponless in a skirmish!

All sound advice, but while the staggering of shots works against comparable bots, I think it would be dangerous against an enemy with more health and 50% more firepower. You want to expend your entire loud as fast as possible and flee before the opponent has time to realize and turn their three weapons on you.

For instance, I did as you suggest when firing at the Taran Haechi, but I often use staggered fire against Orkan Haechi while keeping just beyond their hit range. This allows me to keep working on them rather than be left defenseless should they close a bit within range to hit me.

In facebook gameroom problem only when there are too many of them (one player can not take care for ALL beacons against enemy dashers). But for one or two not so hard. Most play beacon rush anyway and levels are around 6. So play normally and LEO or Natasha with thunders, rockets or even bullet weapons is usually enough. Sure they hurt you but they are (most of them) kids who have plenty of money (parents credit card) but no skills. They fight you head to head, no strategy. They go direct to the beacon and when you arrive defend it. Sure they can dash one way or another.. ..but just keep shooting them. They will die. Oh and if they actually come close to your slow bot.. ..back against something solid and keep shooting at them.
What most not so experienced players do.. ..they either try to run away or ignore these dash bots shooting "easier" targets and die because these dash bots keep shooting them.

I use a Rogatka to kill Dashbots also, except I use Orkans. (Lvl 8 Rogatka , lvl 8 Orkans). Orkans currently being upgraded to lvl 10.
I can usually kill them in 2 salvos, but it takes some serious Piloting to do it.
I run right at them if they're firing at someone else, this way not a single rocket misses it's target, I then jump and disappear.
Plasma and Orkans seem to work best on Dashers, double-team them with 'splash' damage and Plasma.
Great post btw!

Took out a Haechi today with my Punisher Leo. It seems the best tactic is for the Haechi pilot to equip tulumbases, instead of something that could actually one-shot you, and then dash right into your wall of lead. (This was especially satisfying since that same Haechi had earlier blindsided my pinata stalker just as I'd won a hard-fought duel with a hydra-Griffin.)
