Serious question, have you guys given any thought into starting what could be the game's first deliberately tanker clan? There are plenty of tanker clans, just look at the clan leaderboards. I'm not sure if any of them started out that way....but neither did Golden Sabre 's. That's sort of what I mean- a clan FOR tanking, not a clan that became that, but was its founding principle. Fill a void! Imagine- NITRO SQUAD (Sabre) Nitro Juniors (Ms. Sabre) GAS TANK (Blastronaut)

We did that, too. Now we got a whole town. ? The misses and I are actually thinking about starting a feeder clan. Seems like just yesterday it was only four of us and I was thinking " how in the world am I going to get 30 more decent players?" . Build it and they will come. Serious question, have you guys given any thought into starting what could be the game's first deliberately tanker clan?

I like the idea of a free play with less restrictions and zero, or very reduced, rewards. But to compete... both in rewards and ranking... seeking advantage of any kind should be punished. LQ is seeking advantage. I like you Blast... I disagree with you constantly!!... Well... about some things anyway, and agree strongly about others. But, I do like you. However, I just feel you are on the wrong side of this coin. Fun is fun. Competition is competition. There is no way that what happens in LQ should be paralleling what happens in NQ. Instead, what happens in LQ should stay in LQ. (sorry for the cliche ) You argue that it is about the fun... then like Divine said, have your fun. But you don't get to have the same rewards that peeps get when playing on the competitive side if you are facing noobs and half teams. IMO, YMMV If you think the LQ isn't competitive then you obviously have never played in it, I don't wan't players under level 30 in the LQ either. If you think I struggle to win gold in the NQ you are delusional. If you think advantage seeking should be punished then you must be upset that map skipping no longer sends players to the LQ, right? Alternate game modes without Gold rewards would be amazing, no silver would also be fine as long as Pixonic didn't charge you for repair costs. I'm not arguing for equal rewards for LQ, we should get higher rewards. Just keep the LQ at event level rewards all year long to keep us Tankers happy and let the "competitive" players wallow around in the mud for our table scraps. "Wallow in the mud for table scraps" Such an obvious, clumsy, and transparent effort to get a rise out of people is way, way below your usual standard, B. You must be seriously hurting over this. Hug?

Can absolutely confirm that seeing recognizable faces in iOS D3 matches is by far the exception and not the norm. Worth noting again that the game has in excess of a million players a day. Peak concurrent users was 70k the last time Pixonic divulged gameplay stats. And that is surely for both Android & iOS combined. Realistically you are only drawing from a pool of a few thousand at any given time on iOS with current MM restrictions. Don't know where you're getting your data from, so I can't speak to it. What I can do, however, is use citeable public disclosures from within the past week: pixonic.com/en/posts/336DAU of a million a day.

I am sorry to say this, but I think tankers will simply adapt. "Fading", for example, guarantees a loss if made in squads. Nobody takes a beacon, that's all it takes. They can even get good silver while going down in leagues. And there are other methods talked about in this forum that doesn't involve leaving and that I won't reproduce now. I'd rather have happy tankers all together in LQ. Arakos You're undoubtedly right. But at each point you make an activity both harder and less lucrative, less people will do it. Human nature, that. The pool will continue to diminish. Nobody realistically thinks you're going to stop people from trying to game the system altogether, but that's not the objective. The objective is to bring it down to less unpleasant levels.

Divine Thunder The problem is the LQ population pool is already comparatively small and if you remove the, let's say, 50% of people there purely for resources, each consecutive match is going to have the same 3 people on each team. So not only are you taking gold and silver away from people who genuinely enjoy the LQ experience, you are potentially ruining the experience altogether. In fact with pilots under level 15 gone and farmers gone, LQ might not even be feasible. It will literally be one on one matches or 2 minute waits for the match to begin. At a certain point it would make more sense to just get rid of LQ altogether and employ some other anti leaving mechanism. Even in the regular queueing in iOS you often run into the same players over and over. A sign I suspect that less upper league people are playing the game. This post just makes me giggle so much. "In fact with the pilots under L15 gone" Seriously? Why don't we say "With people who had no idea how they got there, who have no chance of winning, enjoying the game or earning anything gone, I can't beat the snot out of them and take top honors easily and without effort". Cry me a river about how long it will take you to be matched up. As for getting rid of LQ and using another anti-leaver mechanism, what? Right when it will kick into high gear? In regular queuing in iOS I almost never see the same faces again. It's a big deal when I spot one I remember. And hey, when those 50% of the players who are in there to earn resources leave because they can't they will swell the player pool back out in the Real League. You know, the one you should be playing in. if you like prison, stay in. If not, get out. Can absolutely confirm that seeing recognizable faces in iOS D3 matches is by far the exception and not the norm. Worth noting again that the game has in excess of a million players a day.

Pixsucknc - again, i need to point out that the intent of the LQ was not to create an alternate game mode in War Robots. It was intended to separate the leavers from harming the experience of other players. Just because you and others find it more enjoyable, does not legitize it as an alterative. And announcing that it is more fun than regular play continues to encourage others to try to enter and thus has an impact on the community. The only way to get in the LQ is to leave regular game play matches. Pilots are deliberatly tanking to get in. If Pix wants to make the LQ an optional form of play, then there would be an opportunity to choose that without interferring with the experience of other pilots. However, it is not there and Pix has not developed any other mode of play. They are working on it, they say, but it is not available at present. therefore, since it was intended to be a jail and since you and others appear to enjoy the LQ and the game play it provides instead of the rewards it offers, removal/reduction of those rewards should not be a problem. The game play will still be there. It was never intended to be a jail. The intent was to separate not to punish. The rest of your post is moot. Pixonic should take a ?firetruck?ing hint and realize that players enjoy the LQ much more than the regular queue. The regular queue is the one that needs to be removed/rewards-nerfed. Just completely randomize the MM and the game is fixed IMHO. Great thread, folks. Carry on.
If anyone needs me, I'll be over here, swimming in blastronaut tears.

Moderation: Locking. There are two ways you do this. With integrity, which means you quit the game. Or without, which means you keep playing. Can't fathom why someone quitting would feel the need to register and post here, so I am locking the thread.

I read Dredd's article about how if you can open only 1000Au chests in sufficient quantity to open the super chest, you are almost certainly going to get prizes worth more than the gold you put into it. HOWEVER, what about players who already have most of what they want so for example I want: Was going to buy one of with the 5k gold I saved up: 1 Fury 1 Lance Would like: 1 Butch 2 Orkan (I have 4 but perhaps 2 more would be nice for a savage rocket party if I get the lance) 3 Zeuss (only if I get the fury) 1 Rogatka (I need to know if it is like Galahad and can hang in the upper tiers before I went for one) I don't want Jesse Doc Gary Galahad Gepard Aphid Gecko Ancile So while, I will probably be able to scrape the last 2.5k Au together by the end of the event (or could make a small purchase), I'm just not sure if there's much value in it for me. Also, I take considerably less pleasure than the average player in "gambling" so clicking on the chests 8 times would not be tedious but I certainly wouldn't do it for the lower value chests the amount of times required to get to a super chest that way. What would you do if you were in m shoes? Look at the chart I put up on the blog. For every item you see no value in, replace the value in column D with zero. Then an add up what's left. If it is 1000 or less, save your money.

Totally disgaree with this. You can keep yourself out of the Quitters Queue by just playing the game rather than quitting, and your AU earnings would be unaffected from normal gameplay. Some people refuse to play certain maps that are unfair in their layout. It all comes out in the wash.

Personally, I'm relieved to know that most of the posters here who enjoy playing in the LQ do so for the fun and unpredictable game play itself, and surely won't object to fairer opposition and reward nerfing. But I imagine in other communities, there might be some dismay.

Some updates from our comrades at Pixonic regarding War Robots!
5/2
Event Quests Bugged
Pixonic has fixed a bug in the quest logic that was causing one or more quests to not perform as intended. For instance, the Trebuchet quest awarded games won despite asking for beacon captures.
Leavers' Queue
Pixonic is aware that some players are dropping into the tankers' queue as a way to exploit the system, and other (particularly new) players have found themselves there but are unable to understand why due to unfamiliarity with the game.
Pixonic will be implementing some changes. First, to prevent new players from wandering in inadvertantly, the LQ will be disabled for players of level 15 and below.
Second, to discourage exploiting the LQ, the rewards for LQ play will be either removed or diminished.
