Glycerin Squad (Clan ID 48038, Clan Tag ¤GS¤) would love to have you. We are the Gold League member of the Nitroglycerin family of clans. Glycerin Squad has active, English speaking players from all over the world who love to squad. There is a competitive atmosphere, but we don't forget this is just a game. We have an active Discord forum where players exchange information and when possible, use Discord for in-game communications. You can PM me for more information or just ask here.
I just realized you did not state your platform. Please note that the Nitroglycerin clans are android only.

can I convert my workshop points into naked GF pic components? It depends on whether Pix will be able to make money off of it. ?

For gold, there's not too much you can do if you are not buying it, but if gold is your priority, a couple of things to bear in mind:
1. Make sure you are squadding to get the gold bonus. If you are not in a clan, join one, because it may make it easier for you to squad.
2. Make sure you clear the daily tasks, and if any are workshop point tasks, switch them out for gold tasks.

Few rules: - slots before bots; - weapons before bots And its slots before weapons, too. Just to make sure you get it: SLOTS BEFORE SHOTS, SHOTS BEFORE BOTS.

He asked in Polish (at least it looks like Polish--it could be Czech, or something similar) and you answered him in the same language. That is effective recruiting!

You should strongly consider changing your Leo over to punishers.

I mentioned this in another thread, but thought it merited a thread of its own. There are some bots out there that many think are wonderful, but really aren't all that great. Conversely, there are some widely disparaged bots that probably shouldn't be.
My own candidate for most overrated bot is the Griffin. The bot many say to put several of in your hangar. But should you? Really? Good firepower, but certainly nothing special for a heavy. A special ability that can put you *into* danger, and a *long* cooldown. Not all that much in the way of hit points.
Honestly, I am not sure what bot to name as most underrated. But if there ends up being a consensus (which I doubt!), and I don't have one, it might convince me to give it a try.

The Griffin may be the most overrated bot in the game. Its not bad, mind you, but it is not nearly as good as some would lead you to believe.

Uhnonimis, thank you for your reply and consideration! Your clan sounds exactly like the environment where I may fit nicely. I was looking for a more established clan with 30+ members to increase the odds of someone on at random times to squad with. Sounds like your clan is new and growing and I can appreciate that, and the hard work it takes to get a clan up and running. I ended up solo'ing 99% of the time in my last clan due to league variations. I was hoping to get in a clan where squading would be the norm and not the exception. With your current clan member count, how often are squads running? I know we all are on different schedules, work, school, family, time zones ECT ECT. Kinda need a full/near full clan to have a 15-25% active rate at any given time of day. In a 12 bot clan this equates to 1-3 people online at the same time, and with my luck I will be the "1" and still solo'ing lol I understand your concern. I am the leader of Glycerin Squad, the Gold league clan in the Nitroglycerin family, and only Diamond league myself, so I do not have that info handy. I will ask on our common Discord forum and I or someone else will get back to you. Or you can join, try it out for a few days and if the squadding is not frequent enough, you can bow out--no hard feelings. That said, we have a great bunch of people, in-game and on Discord, and the cameraderie might well make up for a transitional period where Nitro Elite is still in active recruiting mode.

Well, if you are interested in Expert+, Nitro Elite (Clan ID 49124, Clan Tag ¤NE¤) may be for you. It is the newest clan in the Nitroglycerin family of clans. Active, Expert+, English speaking players from all over the world who love to squad. Discord use is encouraged, but not mandatory. Nitroglycerin uses it more for the bulletin board and as a way to communicate across our three clans. We LOVE talky players! Nitro Elite is still growing, as it is new. In addition to recruiting, we have members moving up from Nitro Squad (our Diamond league clan) when they hit Expert level. Please check us out.

At higher levels, the Leo is no longer effective as a knife fighter. The big pile of hit points does not compensate for the lack of shielding/escapability. Leos, however, can still be very effective as mid/long range weapons platforms.

Yes, the matchmaking has its issues, but the bigger problem and the easier problem to solve, by far, is tanking.
Tanking delenda est.

The fact that Pixo-Guy thinks its comparable is amazing. He's dead right about the whole marginal utility / I'll buy it for 10 but the other guy will pay twice that dynamic though, so obviously not economically illiterate. Cut them some slack. They're Russians, and still comparatively new to the whole capitalism thing.

I don't know that there is much to discuss SPECIFICALLY about Leo tactics, as opposed to generally applicable tactical advice. That said, be very aware that as you move up through the leagues, the Leo becomes less and less effective as a knife fighter. That big pile of hit points will not count for much when you get a face full of high level orkans or thunders.
That said, the Leo will remain an effective mid/long range platform for you. Be prepared to make the transition.

The main issue with the Leo is its speed. It also doesn't have an ability, which means once you commit to a fight, you have no choice but to engage to the death. I run the Thunder/Magnums build, but it's been getting wrecked ever since I entered gold, especially by Lancelots and Galahads. This is also assuming that you don't get hit by Tridents while plodding across open spaces. All in all, the Leo with this setup does well as part of a coordinated offensive push with your teammates by your side. Another is the Thunder/Pinatas, but this means you have to get to 300m, followed by a long cooldown. A single Thunder won't help much against the Carnages that decide to charge at you then. To be frank, I'm struggling to find a good Leo loadout that's still competitive in gold. One word: MIDRANGE! I am on android and moving from gold to diamond. I am presently running a Tempest Punisher Leo and a Trident Pin Leo. If you are mindful of ranges, the big pile of hitpoints compensates for the lack of shield or special abilities. I like hunting snipers with these bots.

Lackluster damage? You must be talking about the various types of Ancilots. I run a Thundorkalot (until fairly recently, a Thuntaralot), and while it may not last as long as a typical Ancilot, during the time it is around, it tends to leave piles of red slag in its wake.

Orkans are only a problem about half the time. When a red is using them, they are terribly op. When a blue is using them, they seem juuust riiight.

Functional English is a requirement for membership. We have people from all over the world, so we do need to make sure we have a common language. In fact, many of us are chatty. Our Discord forum is quite active.

Hello unbecoming896. In the Nitroglycerin family of clans you would specifically be looking at Glycerin Squad, which we have set up for Gold Leaguers.
Yes, Discord is a separate app. We have lively game discussion and chat there, and Discord can also be used for in-battle communications.
