Fresh out of the WS First Load-out. Going to take it out for a spin at L1 (edit) First Game: Beacon Rush on Carrier. 3 Beacons, 1 Kill. Weapons all Mk1L9. I look forward to leveling this Bot up. Made it to Mk1 L9 yesterday. In the process of Leveling the Dragoon from 10 to 11. It took 7 days-ish. It was in my hanger the entire time. This bot is loads of fun.

It's... not pretty. Iol How effective is it?? It can scare the hell out of a ares pretty dang well. use a goon strider, I kill really anything on the map so long as they are moving around. I use the dashes to get to good angles and the goon/marquesses to pelt anyone in my line of fire. Good at stealing kills and lasting a long time. Also your damage doesn't go down as much since you are constantly shooting (something most mid rangers can't claim since they are slow meaning moving between covers is slow and might not even give them a good angle).

Finally bringing my calamity to lv.9 for my strider, tasers are definitely my favorite setup so far.

Little guns that poke your eyes out from 600m, red, fire blue shots, dragoon, named after positions in the british military, expensive, could be won in 2 events, both in gold chest, marquees, and they are also in all sizes!

Fun moment: When after your half-health Taser Strider has pressured the enemy home beacon for enough minutes that 5 out of the 6 reds not only feel the need to drop in and all start chasing you, but Deathmark you while they're at it.
Not fun moment for the reds: Discovering you have a second Strider :-D

Not fun moment for the reds: Discovering you have a second Strider :-D ?? Taser build def draws some attention when trolling from the outskirts, I use it as a last drop on most maps as it’s my fastest capper/assassin. When I drop it any earlier, it’s usually on Canyon or Dreadnought, the roof on Dread is where the magic is when the opportunity presents itself. I’ve achieved SuckerPunch Nirvana up there a number of times, try it at home!

I usually go down the side on Dreadnought with it and try to cap all 3 beacons behind the ship. I almost always drop it first, especially because I have Invulnerable Raider on it. And now it seems like tasers are the best counter for Phantoms. Maxing a Last Stand this weekend to put on my Halo-Glory Strider, but they just don't register enough damage on Phantoms' little hit box. Building a 3rd and going to make that one a Taser too. Then I should be able to play it later in the game. That's the plan anyways.

Tasers, not cheating with auto aiming, they're just good like that. And strangely enough a redeemer and shredders doesn't work that bad either.

I still need to upgrade my Redeemer a couple more levels but I have 2 Shredders at L11, so I'll try that out. Generally lag has been an issue lately on all the precision weapons, but I'd like to give that a go.

Yeah lag has been brutal for me as of late, I like it because it lets you sit back a bit more so you are not right up on the leeches with their shotguns. Really helps since I don't run PS and only have 2 LSs

But once I get my Redeemer up 2 more levels I'm definitely trying this. I could see how it could work after a little learning curve. Blitzes can't quite maneuver fast enough but a Strider can pop in and out of cover a lot better. I don't run PS or Last Stand either on my Striders, although about to get an Last Stand back on my LD Shottie build. Tasers are good for when you don't have Last Stand, but not against Last Stand Phantoms. The center beacon at Yamantau is becoming a straight up execution ground for my poor Strider :-(

Goons on strider makes for insane amounts of kills since you can get at, and get away from angles nothing else can. Makes for some VERY empty goons and many pissed off enemies who chase you until you or your teammates kill em. Also, it is a great counter to ares, they have 500m range on their ability and usually have 500m weapons so you can stay away enough so they can't hit you but you can hit them, and goons vs ares doesn't bode well.

True, but... Superdash! Currently my M.O. is to try it at the start and if I don't win the beginning brawl, drop my 2nd Strider and superdash it again, basically arriving with the first wave of slower brawlers. Doesn't always work of course, but it's not a bad one-two punch.

Had a clanmates who was into the Dragoon-Marquess build. Be a while before I have everything levelled to try it, but I'll keep it in mind. I like tasers for the same reason, can start at distance, then get in close to brawl, retreat as needed.

I know he had a Goon on it and he was beastly with it.
