but that wasn’t just ANY old Cossack molesting that Hover, that was Max Ssack...a character so rarely seen, he is not UNlike a Unicorn.  ??

I give props to the Hover pilots that can walk the walk and hang in the current meta, but I will never join their nefarious cult because I’m too busy fragging princesses with my underdog bots.

The driver makes a huge difference in any bot, whatever it is.

Hover is not Meta, has never been Meta, and never WILL be Meta, not even if Pix decides to gift Her Highness of Skyness with 30% DR in flight, a third Passive Module slot, and a Legendary Pilot and Paint Job.

What Hover has is high Durability, excellent Ground Speed, a versatile weapon mix, and most importantly, unique movement ability. This makes it an extremely capable Bot that benefits tremendously from skilled play.

While objectively inferior to Ao Jun, Leech, and Phantom, it has many characteristics that can be leveraged to advantage vs any of them, dependent on circumstances. I would score it as easily the equal or superior of Tyr, Ares, Inquisitor, Strider, Spectre, Mercury, Haechi, or Bulg. Difficult to compare to Lance, Bulwark, Fenrir, or T-Falc due to the extreme apples/oranges comparison.

Once Ao Jun and Leech get the inevitable smack with the Nerf Bat, they will likely drop out of the Meta very quickly, while Hover will maintain its current sub-Meta status, which it's enjoyed since release.

this is what is called "meeting unintegrated players". I can't remember what rule it was in the strider hand book but it went something like "you shall not compare the striders capabilities to what you have seen from loners or you will be miss led.

You must look to the fact that intigration to the strider SPT or sucker punch tech takes near a month or more, during which a strider looks clumsy and weak while in reality it is simply the pilot learning." So in short don't take what you see on the field to be the top strength, a full skill vs a low skill player is gonna be VERY different.

Most Hover pilots suck, but come fight my Hover sometime.

We have to meet up for real, just for a fun match. I'll run Loki vs your hover. I use him for shock bots that hide in the back and case them down. I love those battles.

I don't play like most players (feels like an echo chamber in here) using Loki. I like to sneak up on players and quickly dispatch them before the whole team notices me.

Most Loki players I've seen either beeline to a beacon or wait until a Red is distracted and attack anyone from a distance. I actually pick my targets carefully...

BTW, just finished a game vs some guy name Bacon Unlimited(I think he is a user here), 10k Champ Hover player. We were having a good 1v1 fight vs my Fenrir until a Red Ao Jun came in and I had to stop to kill the Ao Jun and the game ended.

First time I've actually played a decent Hover player. Ok, Hover is not so bad.

Nah, I know how to deal with Beeline players before I retired him for Phantom.

I need to record my games where people have beeline to my Loki, dodge them and still get 3-4 kills before switching to the next bot.

Point is, many do not really know how to play the bot effectively. Through trial and error for almost a year, I know how to kill key targets without getting shanked too early.

see but I make sure lokis don't see me coming, side effect of preying on ares with mercury for so long. I played loki in a few of the skirmishes and oh it was dumb, no one knew what they were doing just sprinting around not trying to be stealthy which is obviously not how you play it.
