They're tooting their own horn while the comments section on their very own official website looks like all of the Facebook vitriol and the conversations that bogged this forum down.
They're very happy about what they've made, even touting how dash bots should be able to topple Lancelots. Then stating, once again, that they know full and well dash bots completely break the mold of what everything else in War Robots is, but they're not TOO overpowered.

"Kumiho, Haechi and Bulgasari are nothing like machines we made before"
Actually, Kumiho looks like a leaner carnage with its crest lowered n the back (even more in the original design, where teh crest was open)

I like it !! Can't wait for them to hit the meta !
BUT:
I have 7500 AU saved, and I fully expect to be able to buy 2(!) out of the 3! If that's not the case it'll probably be gaugin what kills the dash bots and I will make it my mission to kill every single one of em?

I never liked games with anime-like graphics, however good they are. It just sucks the seriousness out of it. I picked up War Robots because things here look like real life stuff and mechanics make sense.
I didnt like the design of the britbots because why would one make a war bot with a shield? Seriously? They should have just made the entire bot with the same material. As time passes i simply accepted the fact. Maybe they did it for agility reasons. Fair enough.
Now they decide to build bots with an alien design that just belong completely to another game, like gundam. Lets make a bot with a totally complicated and impractical design that serves nothing good in battle except looking cool for newbies to buy with $$. Might aswell make magic plasma sword and dragon wings to make bots fly. Lets throw realism out of the window.

Actually pix has indicated that they plan on pricing them in gold. With the wild west bots in rotation, I would expect that these bots become the new "event" bots for gold in late July or August. I would also expect that the new weapon becomes a gold weapon as well (it will fill out the missing gold weapon in the various sets)

I truly believe that they learned out the wild bunch introduction Fiasko and go back to just putting them in the store. But even if not, as long as I can get enough "influence" with my gold to get 2 of them I'm good

With a Jesse currently priced, at the best Au:IP exchange rate, at 3500, and a doc at 7000, you expect to be able to buy 2, multiple abilities, Korean bots for 7500? The optimist to a fault kind, aren't you? I'm posting here part of a comment i made to that article: "Look, going with the best Gold:IP exchange rate, the gunslinger bots are as follow: - the light one: 70% as expensive as a Lancelot - the medium one: 140% the price of a Lancelot - the heavy one 280% the price of a Lancelot Put another way: Jesse: at 3500, 326% the average gold price of the light gold robots (1225) Doc: at 7000, 280% the average gold price of the medium gold robots (2500) Butch: at 14000, 280% the average gold price of the heavy gold robots (5000) About the Korean ones: they have multiple abilities so it stand to reason they will be more expensive than the gunslingers. Let's say 1.5 times. Possibly twice as much."

what kind of event do you expect ?? The last one is barely over, I'll take me quite a while to level all my stuff up ! i Dont know why, just a guess, but I kinda think they in the price range of 3000-6000. Which would be super expensive considering they're just mediums...

Yeah but I think that's because they where special at first when they dropped ! and then they committed themselves and couldn't lower the price significantly.
When you don't expect to sell a lot, you sell at a high price. When you make em available in store right away for everyone to grab, you expect to sell a lot and therefore can sell at a lower price That's the way I'm thinking..makes any sense?

When you don't expect to sell a lot, you sell at a high price. When you make em available in store right away for everyone to grab, you expect to sell a lot and therefore can sell at a lower price That's the way I'm thinking..makes any sense? If you think about it, it's not that bad a marketing strategy. Pix has gone to releasing mechs in batches of 3, it seems. Think about it: Started with the Britbots. On release, they instantly became extremely popular. People were tripping over themselves to buy them; Lancelot and Galahad quickly became meta bots. Gareth took a little longer, but in the end he made it, too. These bots were the first triple-release in quite some time. Next up, with great fanfare, came the Wild Bunch. And people were like...「whiskey tango foxtrot」 They were at first available only during events, and then when they were finally available for purchase, it's a completely new currency that nobody has. You can buy it with the old game currency, but at obscene prices. But, let's face it. Doc and Jesse aren't exactly very powerful; they're fun, yes, but very glassy. In fact they're the most fragile in their respective classes, perhaps not due to low HP but due to the speed at which they shed weapons under fire. Butch is truly powerful when equipped with trebs, but...that makes Butch strong with ONE weapon, on HALF of the maps in the game. Butch is powerful in only one role: Sniper. So now you've got a group of mechs with little going for them except they're unique. They're gimmicky; even if they were purchasable for Au, they wouldn't be meta because they're simply too weak. Except, because they're hard to get, people want them. Simple way to generate demand: limit supply! Ferrari creates demand by building only about a hundred of their special cars; yet people who can afford them buy them just because nobody else has them. So now, they're about to introduce a third set of three new mechs. These will be, so far as we know, purchasable for Au. They're also likely to cost significantly more than current Au premium mechs in the game. You know something? People will still be ponying up to buy them! With the Britbots, Pixonic showed that their new mechs would be genuinely powerful. They generated huge excitement. With the Wild Bunch, they created exclusivity by introducing a group of mechs only a comparative few could acquire. So now there's a double whammy, because nobody who missed out on the Wild Bunch wants to miss out this time. Come hell or high water, they're gonna get the new mechs. Better still, these new mechs are actually very powerful thanks to their special abilities; unlike the Wild Bunch, they won't be niche or gimmick mechs. Basically, here's how I see it: Britbots set the stage, Wild Bunch generated hype and desire, Korean mechs will be the golden goose.

Count on the second one, they'll probably be Facebook currency. Actually pix has indicated that they plan on pricing them in gold. With the wild west bots in rotation, I would expect that these bots become the new "event" bots for gold in late July or August. I would also expect that the new weapon becomes a gold weapon as well (it will fill out the missing gold weapon in the various sets) Even if they come out for Au, I highly doubt they'll be at 1200,2500, 5000, seeing as that would more or less be a killing blow to any idea of product stability that many users voice is already a problem. Whether they be Au or IP, if they're not costly, Pixo/mail.RU definitely need to find a new merchandiser. The new weapons aren't really Au material in their current state. The Scourge will only be Au material if they keep the 600M range and make it's damage relative to Zeus, otherwise Gekko and Taran's are still better at everything. Tempest is a Joke, just like the rest of the bullet weapons. And the last iteration of the sonic cannon was incredibly weak. While they can hype up and push through game-changing bots and mechanics, weapons tend to suffer from what I've dubbed "Hydra Syndrome". The first iteration of hydra was "Swarm" which fired 1 shell a second that split into 6 aphid like missiles around 100M above the target. Each missile did 6000 damage. Obviously OP, so PiX then changed, and released it as, the hydra. 1 missile every second for slightly more damage per missile than a spiral. The original heavy Molot fired quickly, and was more accurate than the Tempest. Now, with such a slow firing speed, there shouldn't really be any bullet spread, BUT you can visibly see bullets fire out of the muzzle at a 45 degree angle at set intervals for no reason. That's the thing about automatic weapons, they Bloom because of rapid fire. Two rounds a second isn't really rapid fire.

I really wish they would narrow down the release date a bit and tell us how much these bots are going to cost.

If Pix wanted to really throw everybody a curve, they would make the bots available for silver. Great big mounds of it, say in the 50,000,000 Ag range.

That amount of silver could be purchased, but it would still be expensive. And the bots would still be "free" if a player was willing to grind out that much. Which means playing. Lots and lots of playing. I really hope they do something like that. Of course they probably won't...

It would actually be easier for active mid-level players (weapons and bots in the 7-9 range) like me to get these bots without paying, since our big stashes (I have about 125 million at the moment) of silver have not beem depleted by the titanic upgrade costs of the uppermost levels.

The 3 bots look the same. I'm pretty disappointed from an aesthetic standpoint. Nothing special and nothing different.

I like anime cool . It was Fujin and Raijin that really sold me this game because they looked alien .
What do they mean by "dash" and how is that different from what Carnage and Lance do or is it the same ?

This seems to explain why the new bots resemble SD creations of anime mecha without the head and the arms.
Personally I think their designs are too cartoony.

So Haechi is gonna be the one with the built-in Ancile and three medium hardpoints. That would be my first choice in a post-2.9 War Robots scenario.
But the way they describe Kumiho as an anti-Lance/flanker unit, I wonder if that will mean fewer Rogs on the field, being it too has two medium hardpoints.
Not sure yet about Bulgasari. Physical shields don't seem as viable these days.
And frankly I could care less how cartoonish they look. It all comes down to performance.
