I like it !! Can't wait for them to hit the meta ! BUT: I have 7500 AU saved, and I fully expect to be able to buy 2(!) out of the 3! If that's not the case it'll probably be gaugin what kills the dash bots and I will make it my mission to kill every single one of em? 7500K for two is pretty optimistic I figure you'll be able to get one. I doubt they'd be very hard to kill with a well diversified hangar as it's dash would be very effective evading rockets but still susceptible to plasma. As to how effective they are will be down to the final stats compared to current bots. Kumiho: Speed, hp, cool down times and jump distance of the Kumiho compare to a Rogatka. The Rog is pretty fearsome in its current form so if the kumiho overmatches it then it could really be a serious customer. Haechi specs vs a Carnage would be interesting. However for me the Bulgasari holds the most interest. Having 3 med weapons right of the centerline of hull is pretty exciting for engaging from cover. A dash ability for limiting HE salvo dmg and finally a shield for when I jump too far and a means to defend against easy mode hydra users. if it's HP is close to par (golem/Vit/etc) and a speed close to a Galahad I'd be pretty happy to buy one. I hoping it's <10K AU.

Honestly I can't begin to guess at what prices they'd charge. I just don't see them being cheaper than WW bots.

With regards to the Bulgasari (the big boy, nice name by the way) the shield is at the side? No front shield? Or I don't see it?

I think they are going to be higher than the gun slinger bots. I have an ugly feeling that they will start at 10,000 for the smaller one and go over 20,000 Au for the big boy. They will be trying to mask it up with this influence thingummy. I have made a purchase of gold and brought the gold reserves up to 11,000 but I put aside 7,000 for the Doc (as I love the look of that bot) but then I realised that my spare medium weapons need more levelling up. So the Doc purchase is on hold.

Haechi and the "nine-tailed fox" are the ones I'm after. I totally see why y'all expect them to be so expensive, and y'all do have a point. I compare them to the "camelbots" though and not to to the western outlaws..so I'm optimistic !

Not being serious but perhaps we can be optimistic about dashbots not being enormously expensive. Remember these things are war machines.
Russian gear = effective, affordable Japanese gear = unique, fairly affordable UK gear = pricier perhaps with glitches in the beginning.
US...well the country with the F22, F35, and Zumwalt class destroyers...American gear prices are suitably outrageous.
Korea however have been bidding with fairly competitive equipment such as Daewoo self propelled howitzers. So let's hope the game also prices in line with the real world (not likely)

Shields are going to be next to useless in the coming months. So many shield penetrating weapons they are putting as prototypes on the test server, from the wave to the boom box to the flamethrower, not to mention the anti physical shields buff ballistics will get and the Scourge weapon. By the time the dash bots (I keep thinking kimchi and bulgogi) finally get introduced they might be obsoleted by the weapons developments. And now there seems to be a new heavy bot prototype being tested again.

So now, they're about to introduce a third set of three new mechs. These will be, so far as we know, purchasable for Au. They're also likely to cost significantly more than current Au premium mechs in the game. Very, VERY unlikely they will he purchasable for gold. One doesn't release a whole new economy (new currency and new way to get it, unrelated to in game performance) to then release the cool new stuff for the old one. Pixo apparently decided they need new players and fast, the Korean bots will be the bait to force players, especially younger ones, to facebook spam their friends and force them to play long enough (level 5) to get them hooked. There is no way IPs are going to get a hold otherwise. Marketing wise it's a very smart move. It's going to annoy the hell out of the veteran playerbase, but that's not where the new money is.

If Pix wanted to really throw everybody a curve, they would make the bots available for silver. Great big mounds of it, say in the 50,000,000 Ag range. You wish. 50M is something easily achievable in a month, less for those with average damage of 500k+ By crazy pixo exchange rates 50M silver is 18500 gold, but there is a reason you cannot get 18500 gold with 50M silver

From what I understand the Hanguk (Korea) bots will still be Au currency, not the new Fartbux.

This seems to explain why the new bots resemble SD creations of anime mecha without the head and the arms. Personally I think their designs are too cartoony. I rather like the Bulgasari color scheme. But these could be Au skins. Maybe the default skins will look better. Also, as AηɗυηєɗнєƖ [ǀƬA] points out, the Kumiho wing stabilizers look close in resemblance to the Carnage, and according to the wiki the Carnage faction is unknown. So perhaps the Carnage is a long-lost, more tastefully decorated, cousin of the Korean bots. I rather like the whole faction concept. Gives the game a bit of color.

The premium camo on the Carnage has Chinese characters, like "Double Happiness" which you find at the leg joint. You find this character frequently in Chinese restaurants and parties, especially weddings. Not to mention at least, the character in front is "snake" in Chinese. The torso design of the Carnage is actually inspired from the head of the snake, and so is the way of its attack --- swiftly and with decisive force. That makes no doubt what the Carnage faction is, and the other give away is the default green scheme which looks like this. China has fox spirit and nine tailed fox mythologies too. In fact, the nine tailed fox spirit is associated to the immortal goddess Huxian, to a familiar of the earth or creator mother goddess Nuwa, and to Daji, an evil enchantress whose tyranny and blood thirst brought down the Shang Dynasty, China's first dynasty. Should note that the light colors on the GI Patton and the Fury --- American War Robots --- are inspired from the camo colors of the Iraqi operations. Its also obvious who the German robots are, because of the grey scheme.

Perhaps the wing design is based off some common culture shared between them back in the ancient days when trade used to occur across the North Korean borders.

I think the wing design of the Kumiho is based on the tail of the nine tailed fox. Like these, from Chinese artists. The wings on the Carnage remind me of the vanes or small wings on the back of the Chinese dragon head.

The new prototype heavy bot on the PTS appears to have a skin on progress. You can see that parts of the mech are actually colored, and not this simple brick color being used as a filler. Note the colors, with the dark brown, the green and the red, the red of which seems to have the same shade as the one on the Carnage's premium camo. Note how the red trims the edge of the shoulder blade. I am going out of my way to suggest the new bot may also belong to the Chinese faction, the colors and the trim reminds me of dynastic Chinese armor. At the same time, its kind of like a Chinese copy of the Griffin.
