Not a good progression for the game I feel... Lmao... whenever I see a bunch of red Griffins jumping around the Moon, I want to leave the battle... but I stay and try to win because I'm a teamplayer. I don't use my Griffin that way. I only jump to take shortcuts, not to unleash missiles. I use punishers anyway.

As a big Griffin fan, i do that too. There's often a good opportunity to finish a red with a jump, while walking around a looong wall or something would just take too much time. But of course this shouldn't be the only technique a Griffin pilot is able to do. If you spot a Griffin, that is really only jumping and shooting, often you can ambush and finish him as he is not really skilled. He might try to hunt you down with his big, bad Lancelot afterwards for revenge, but since he's not a good pilot, you might even trash his big, bad mech aswell *giggles*

Oh good god. There were these 3 RDB griffs AT THE SAME POINT standing in cover in SF and taking turns jumping and shooting. Blues couldn't even approach them half the match. It was like whack a mole, #1 Jump-unload, #2 Jump-unload, #3...you get the picture.

At this point, they may as well rename the game to "Jumping War Griffins" or something.

I'm actually pretty pissed off at the change... since I wrote this rant...
I'm considering quitting until it changes...
just think this this game used to make a modicum of skill... it's just been removed by every 「bum-bum chapeau」 having pins/tumbalas

Adjustments, people. The rise of the jumping RDB is a perfect reason to slot a good old sniper in your hangar. On voice coms in our clan you'll often hear the cry of 'PUUUULLLLL!!!' as a Griffin hurls itself into the air to catch various long range love. I find my kwk/gekko Nat better than trebs as the more rapid reload and lack of anciles on Griffins is a win/win.
'But sniper bots suck on the short maps!' Well, that's why I have 5 slots.

So the new meta is poptarting, just like in Mech Warrior? Honestly, this is why I was originally against midrange rockets receiving the new buff.
Anyways, fight cancer with cancer(not recommended for real life), if you're good enough with Fury Tridents, you can hit jumping bots while outranging them and out dpsing them. For close range maps, just unload into them with a db griff.

Hi, have you guys tried out an RDS Griffin? It stands for Russian Disappointment Spiral Griffin and it's about 5 seconds away from being SOoooo meta. A steady drip drip of death to all those RDB losers, with two DEVASTATING spirals to do the talking and two DELECTABLE ECUs to keep the old boat treb-proof! I RDB farm in my RDS all the live-long day. I always get the lowest damage on the losing team, my small dog hits me, and I invariably go to sleep sobbing heavily into an honest-to-goodness Puddle of Mudd. But I'm not at all happy, and win or lose that's what really matters. Because being happy is for cartoon suns that wear sunglasses and cartoon penguins that skateboard and also wear sunglasses. No thanks... Im too busy eating allegedly kentucky-fried mysteries out here in the real world with a vaguely deflated expression and a big sad beer, like a grown human adult. Alone on the platform at Yamantau, constantly beset by Tulumbas fire from unseen Griffins, wondering when the final Pin will seal the deal. What is to be done? When life hands you RDBs, make lemonade that is mostly vodka. Hope these remarks are a big help and encouragement!

Except I called it the Angel of Annoyance. But everyone ignores me. I feel so alone. And then I am alone. And then the Reds come and I'm not alone anymore! But then the match ends. And everything is orange. Orange is the new happiness? Is that the lesson here? I like bourbon.

I've been having a good amount of excess playing with mini pop tarts (rogs) in various flavors, along with an tarancilot. Zeus carnage has been doing work on some maps as well. There are a lot of rdb Griff's, but they're easier to counter than all the Galahads and trident furies from the previous meta.
It does get a little frustrating to eat the rocket 「cream bath」 when three or four hit you from different angles, but such is life in the adult robot industry.

Sorry. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. But yes, very annoying bunny rabbits of doom. (Trident Fury is more annoying though, on an open map.)

It seems anytime a particular weapons/bot system comes about or gets buffed into being relevant, this comes up. From no skill mag gepards to no skill ancileots and now no skill RDB Griffins. Is it hard to take out a team that is running the same bot/weapons? sure. But not impossible. The Treb Fury and Gekko rigs are making a come back as a direct response to all the Griffins out there now. I just kills me how when something starts to "work" in the game to the other guys advantage the are demeaned for having "no skills". SO what are you going to do when the other side has a herd of dash bots? Will they be "no skill" pilots too?

I think its because buffing any type of weapon decreases the amount of skill involved with it since the stats are either increased or improved. I have gotten a Zeus Carnage and a KwK Fury out in response to the Russian Griffin, but again, weapons that require less skill should have lesser results and damage outputs.

I think another option vs. 1 or 2 RDBs (certainly not vs. 3) is to use a Tarancilot. While the rockets are powerful, you can duck to cover and let it recharge until you close the gap. Then you can take a few rockets with your massive hitpoint pool, while you melt them and duck for cover during the recharge. Or you can fire the tarans one at a time to have constant fire but I prefer to duck into cover for a shield and taran recharge.

</div>Well, you missed a lot of stuff. In no particular order: - KangDae\Noricum Natasha - at the dawn of times
- Rhino - spawn raids with full-rhino squads
- Trident Fury - recent rants
- Orkan (initial DB) - very very long time ago, before the speed buff (member the time Griffin topspeed was 27 km\h and Natasha was lighting fast at 19?)
- Plasma DB - just some time prior to Rhino domination
But honestly, I think good players are OP. I lost two battles today, and there was NOTHING I could've done to win it.

</div>Agreed, I did miss many in the past, I was mainly going for ones that would be somewhat current. Players that have only been playing 6 months would never think that at one time Boas were the king, or that herds of Rhinos dominated the top tier..

I've been using a Tulumbas Fujin a little bit and I like how it fares vs all the RDB Griffins. You can catch their jumpsalvo on your shield as you return fire if you're keeping an eye on them, then reposition yourself as you both reload and rinse repeat. I'm not a huge fan of the Fujin but its fun to use, though I definitely notice that situational awareness is even more important when piloting it. If I'm not paying enogh attention to where all the reds are and what they're equipped with, it gets pasted pretty quickly.

Well, it's just a knee-jerk response on Pixonic's part to address criticisms of the game becoming pay-to-win on account of the rampage Trident Furies and (later) Ancilots went on. They had to buff some silver weapons to even it out a bit, and went with the Pins and Tulumbas. Granted, they are easy to use; but I still feel they're better than camping around in a Zeus Carnage/Fury, pressing a red button cyclically to zap bots like an irritating insect.
