Update for iPhones is in, with all the changes mentioned in the Android thread. My impressions:
- no speed change to the Gephard won't affect me much. If I see a Gep on my side or theirs, I leave the battle.
- Speed change for my all lights lvl 1, weapons 5 crew (no gold or wsp) is noticeable, especially in the Cossack. Used to be a nimble little robot, now it's a real drag.
- Speed change in my lvl 4, weapons 7 crew (lots of wsp and gold) is not noticeable. I run a Rogatka, Patton, boa and Vityaz. Rogatka is still quick and the jump makes the difference. TBH, they probably needed to change the Rog as it's a beast at times.
- Targeting seems good, and I don't notice another changes.
Right now, biggest issue is matchmaking - still not sure what's going on. With a win percentage in the 70s, I saw a lot of medium bots playing my all lights group and a lot of heavy bots with my all medium group. Not a lot of Rinos though.
I do find myself with a lot of players who seem like novices - not capturing beacons or knowing how to use cover or just generally getting run over by slightly higher bots or better drivers. Like I'm at the kids table. We'll see when my win % drops below 60.
I may have to consider leveling up the robots on both hangers at least 1 (lvl2/w5 and lvl5/w7) if I continue to see higher bots in my games. I'm approaching lvl 30, so that might be what I need to do.
Overall I think if you're still trying to play the game in the lower tiers against magGeps you're going to be frustrated. Playing battles with out Gepards has made me enjoy the game a lot more. (Frankly, I'm getting to the point of leaving battles if I see more than one sniper Natasha on my side.)
If you take away the Gepards, then the speed changes are in relation to everyone else so (aside from the Cossack) it's not bad.
