So far enjoying the game but not translating into wins much. LOL. Will be happy to get any tips. Currently I'm level 18 and I'm getting the hang of playing the game and choosing different bots per situation. Initially I was trying to make jack of all trades bots until the deaths kept racking up and I realized each bot needs to specialize. Current hangar: Any tips or tutorials would be most welcome.

Thanks!
Although, is there like a dictionary here? First link I opened and they were talking about 4/7 High Bronze, and ok I get the Tier is named High Bronze, but what does the 4/7 mean?

4/7 = Bot level/weapon level A firm grasp of how matchmaker works helped me the most. Understanding how to build a balanced hanger, and knowing what bot/weapon level combos to pair together made a huge difference. warrobots.wikia.com/wiki/Matchmaking

Also, swap the long range cannons for thunders on your heavy hard points, they deal a lot of damage under 150m. Unless you prefer keeping your distance.
Put a taran on your cossack asap and make its bot and weapon level 2 or 3 levels higher than the medium bots. Check the match maker link to score your bots, then get them all within 5-10 points of each other.

there's so much to say.. at your early stage, picking the wrong bots & weapons can potentially cost you a lot of time due to back-tracking. first, keep weapon levels higher than bots by 2 lvls or more. second, when building a bot, the main thing to keep in mind is to consider the weapons' range. your Patton has two med/long-range molots and two short/med-range punishers. switch out those molots for Pinatas. rockets are your friends, unless they are your enemy! third, gold & WSP bots & weapons are typically leagues above the rest because its how Pixonic makes money to pay for supporting this game. so, invest in a Gepard & Magnums and then Aphids / Orkans / Tarans. at high bronze/ low silver, Geps are worth twice its weight in gold. Here is the obligatory "sealclubbing" warning, yada yada, but it works! fourth and last, this page from the Wiki: warrobots.wikia.com/wiki/Using_cover_correctlyCheers, and good luck!

Put 2 pinatas and a thunder on your vityaz and get a Punisher Thunder Boa.

I made the Patton that way so that it's a nonstop bullet rain. Since the guns never reload at the same time. I guess it's not that effective as I imagined. ?
Edit: so the CRV Pins aren't good?

Also, so that means the CRV Pins I placed on the Vityaz aren't ok?

It's info overload at early stages.. read through the guide links and selectively reading through some great info in this forum as you progress your gameplay. That will get you 80% where you need to be, within the next week or 2. The other 20% will just be "playing" around until you get the hang of things... and map out how you want to progress in this game. Just have fun doing it.

Ok so far I've set up 1 capper, and 1 medium to long range bot, and 2 close range ones. I'm planning to buy a Hydra for the Golem, and a Taran for the Cossack. Am I doing this right?

How does that play? A little like a Pinata/Thunder Vityaz but longer range? I was using the Golem as a sniper so the idea for the Hydra.

Need a bit of help because I'm a bit confused. This is my current lineup: What tier am I exactly? I was thinking I was still in mid bronze, but now I've been thrown into games with heavies like Natasha's, Leos, and the jumping heavy bot. I've also encountered Gareths and Stalkers. I was under the impression that I won't see them until low silver maybe. Should I swap out a bot for a lower level one? I got a level 3 Patton and level 2 destriers, cossack and shutze in storage. I I'm still toying with the idea of getting a hydra on that golem.

There have been multiple reports now of people running BRONZE hangars that are seeing silver hangars quite often. Post a screenshot of your enemy with the highest level bots. Also do the heavy bots appear all the time, or just occasionally?

Wrecked my improving win ratio for the past few days. 3 of them had Gareths. Where do I see the enemy levels? Also sorry I have a level 3 GI, not a gep. Edited the original post.

Where do I see the enemy levels? after a match finishes you are taken to the after-battle screen, where you are awarded your silver, gold (if earned) and experience. Go to the scoreboard tab (the left tab) and then you will see the scores of everyone that has participated in the battle. After a few seconds, little a little 'i' will appear on the left of everyone in the battles game. Click on that and click view profile, and click on their bots in their hangar to drop down what weapons they are using and the level of their weapons.

Hmm. Looks to be a glitch this morning. My next games were pretty similar levels. No britbots, and no carnages or natashas.

Hmm, I suddenly thought that maybe I should switch roles with two of my bots.
I was thinking of getting the Vityaz to be the mid-long range unit instead, loading double pin and KWM on it, and turning the golem into the melee unit, putting the Ork, Pinata, and Thunder on it. Would that be better? I'm essentially switching the marginally better survivability of the Vityaz in close range to the increased damage of the Golem.
Or get a ThunderOrk Boa, and get a Taran for the Cossack? Or would a Hydra be better for the Cossack as it would be more annoying. That's the point of my Cossack anyway, to cap and annoy enemies and maybe take a few potshots.

The Thunder Orkan Boa is probably your best bet for melee combat. I've never used a Taran Cossack before, but its a viable enough bot, if you get good at it.

I really don't think a mid range support bot is of much value at this level especially with only four hanger slots. I'd run the Orkan on the Golem with a Pinata and a Thunder. Thunders are worth the silver. Keep in mind you dont see shield bots frequently at low tiers, thus plasma has an advantage.
I mounted a Tulumbas on my Cossack when I played in bronze tier. My logic was I had some burst damage capability and superior range and I was moving so the longer reload time was not as much of a handicap. My orkan or Taran might have been better but they were on other bots. A cossack isnt a fighter, the weapon it carries is not critical to its mission.

And the MatchMaker is at it again. Forgot to take a screen shot but went up against 6/10 heavies. AFAIK that's a bit too high above my current tier that I'm trying to stay in.

New question. I have 1600 gold collected from the Christmas thing.
Current hangar is
4/6/6 TT Boa 4/6/6 TO Boa 4/6/6/6/6 Spiral Pat 4/6 Taran Cossack.
I have a 4/5/5/5 KwM TuluCRV Golem sitting in the fridge, as well as a 4 Vityaz. Got a number of level 5 Pinatas as well.
Do I buy a Gareth/Gep? Or save up for the 5th slot?
