next WSP purchase: Trident? 4th Taran? Stalker? Rhino?

Well, I've been pretty content following the Wiki guides so far, but I am now rather unsure on my next WSP purchase. Here's my current hangar:

L4 Cossack with L8 Orkan or L6 Taran
L4 Boa with L7 Thunder and L7 Taran
L4 Patton with 7/7/7/7 CRV Pins
L4 Boa with L7 Thunder and L7 Taran

Bench

L4 Patton with L6/6/7/7 Pinatas or L6/6/7/7 Magnums or L6/6/7/7 Spirals (I often sub one of these for the 2nd Boa for more variety, or for the Cossack to up the hangar's damage potential -- I know I should probably sub out the CRV Pin Patton more, but I just love that guy)
L4 Destrier (I usually equip with the above L7 Magnums, tis fun, but usually not very effective)
L4 Golem (Been a while since I used it, usually with 2nd Boa's Thunder/Taran, plus L7 Magnum, but I also loved it as my sniper bot when I was giving that a whirl a while back. When I get a Trident, this bot will probably supplant the CRV Pin Patton)
L4 Vityaz (haven't used since I got the 2nd Taran, but I had the Thunder and Mags on it when I did)
L6 Leo (only used a few times, usually with Thunder/Mag or 2 Mags and Aphids)
2X L6 Griffins (only used a few times, sometimes PDB, sometimes with the Patton's CRVs and L6/5 Tulumbas, sometimes with Pinatas and Tarans)
L4 Schutze with L5 Thunder

Spare weapons include L7 Aphids and L6 Taran, both of which get rotated into a slot occasionally, and then a bunch of unused stuff: L5 Pinatas, L5 Kang-Dae, and a bunch of KwKs, Punishers, Molots, and Ecus of various levels. The Ecu used to get more use before I had the 4th Magnum and 4th Pinatas leveled up. Yeah, I don't think I ever run the same lineup more than about 5 matches in a row.

So, purely in terms of WSP, I have 4 Magnums and 3 Tarans and 3,100 WSPs. In terms of Gold, I just have 1 Orkan and am 80% of the way to the 5th slot (after which, I'll get a 2nd Orkan and then Galahad).

According to the WSP purchase guide, it would seem the next thing to get would either be a 4th Taran or a Stalker. However, it also says the Stalker, "loses some use at the higher tiers." Could someone explain what this means, exactly? I like to invest long-term, which is the main reason I've refrained from getting a Gepard or Rogatka (even though having a Taranasaurus Rog would be really cool). Does this mean the Stalker is the same way? The word "some" sounds like it's still useful in Gold, just not as useful as it is in Silver. Could someone please clarify?

Still, while I'm seeing how dangerous they are, the idea of one isn't really grabbing me for some reason. I'm kinda itching to get a Trident, which I hear is really useful in Gold. I only see an occasional Rhino, but I would think a Trident/Tulu/Pin Golem would be far better than the Pin Patton. I've always preferred the Golem's look to the Patton and miss having it in the lineup. I also think practice with the Trident would be a more useful skill than running around in a Stalker, and I'm guessing it wouldn't bump me up any.

The 4th Taran is another possibility, but not as exciting because I already have some and, more importantly, I don't really know where I'd be putting it. One is sitting on the shelf with my normal lineup, and even when I run mostly heavies, it's usually PDB Griffin, CRV/Tulu Griffin, Thunder/Mag Leo, and Thunder/Taran Boa. I already have enough Tarans for that, and I think the higher priority by far to boost that lineup is the 2nd Orkan to be able to roll out a DB Griffin.

I kinda doubt the Rhino would make sense at this point, as I'm guessing it'd bump me out of low Silver. I have no idea whether I would enjoy it or not, as it seems odd. I'm more picturing a Gold lineup featuring Galahad(s)/Griffins and maybe Carnage. Furies look hideous and I don't think I'd ever want something that slow. I really love how the 4-legged ones look when they're walking, but the guide is way down on them, so I think I'll content myself with admiring them as piloted by others.

Anyway, that's pretty much my thinking (I guess I can't really say that was a nutshell). By all means, poke holes in it or make fun of it, as any advice would be most gratefully appreciated. Thank you!
