Which one would people recommend? The Jesse looks iffy to me and I don't have any trebs for Butch.

Jesse is fast. Like, VERY fast, 64 km\h fast. It's faster than Gareth, with more firepower than Gareth.
Doc can be awesome Taran\Orkan combo, for moments when you need to play against either shield bot or ancile bot. And he's faster than Galahad, too.
And Butch just have more firepower than the Fury.
As for me - I won't get any of them, just can't suit to my playstyle.

Jesse with Aphids.
Doc with Tulus or Hydras.
Butch with Trebs.
I was going to try and get a butch with quad Tridents because they look cool IMHO. But not 14k. I that is just ridiculous.

Gary has a shield. 1 light and 1 medium weapon... No contest. Gary wins. |

Basically have one weapon with long reload, and another pair for backup. And honestly, for 1250 Gold I would give it a spin... but 3500 |

It's pretty fragile too though... and Butch is absolutely a terror with 4 Trebs. Midrange Butch with Trident/Zeus load-out is pretty decent... but again... fragile in comparison to others. So yeah, agreed... skillz needed to wring the most out of them. |

Nice! I'll get at least 1 Doc in the event --- maybe 2 of them since my stored Au can handle the 14K hit.
I've been wanting a quad Tul Doc for a long time and the time has come! The second could be quad Molots - I like this setup better than the Molot Griffin.

Butch with Trebs is f!cking DEADLY!!! I played on SF against one... anytime i tried running across to the "center" beacon I was instantly melted. This bot stayed in one spot and just wrecked havoc the entire game! would i purchase one? no.. But I wouldn't cry if i won him. Id spend the cash to get the other three trebs and level, yes. Its a beast! And I honestly want one....

Treb Furies are really effective, especially in the dead city where Tridents aren't as effective, so I can see how the Butch would be really deadly. I probably haven't ran into one yet that had 4 well developed Trebs, or maybe the players did not manage to find the optimum spot to shoot from. If I were to win any of these bots, I would definitely put them in my line up... it's just the price that seems crazy to me. |

For many pilots that have been playing over 2 years, Au has stockpiled to 10s of thousands. I buy Au items for the hell of it once I hit 40K Au stored and buying 1 or 2 Docs is doable from my perspective. However, if you don't have at least 15K stored, I'd pass on the Gunslinger bots. The Doc is the only one that can deliver unique levels of Splash, Missile, and Rocket damage that can't be replicated in other setups while still be somewhat durable (which the Jesse isn't) and maneuverable (which the Butch isn't). Yes, you have to pilot the Doc well, but if you are a successful Galahad pilot against rockets, you should be successful with a Doc. |
