Man, I want one. I just can't do it. That is so much gold. I have the Tridents for it. It just looks very "wild west" with those cannons.... Maybe I'll risk some spins... Are any of you going to shell out that much Au for one of these? The Doc with Orkans or Tulumbas would be my preference, but for 7,000 Au? You can buy a Lance and a Fury for the price of Butch, and still have 4,000 Au left over. I have never tried these bots, but I have faced them all in battle and they weren't very difficult to take down. All the people in this forum who have tried them out seem to say they are not that great. Are they going to be rebuffed to make them worth the $? I'm getting a Butch. I'm getting my trident fury out of storage. |

IMO Butch will be good for squad play, otherwise you become #1 target. Similar has been reported with first Lancelots.

I think only reason to "hot-swap" weapons is to have something to fight with while other pair is on reload. Oh, wait, other idea is to have short\long range packs. Or even maybe plasma\splash, to counter different type of bots. Anyways, according to Wiki warrobots.wikia.com/wiki/Category%3ALight_Robot (and the information there is true because I put it there :-D )Jesse is pretty fast (same as Gareth, but 2 km\h slower than Stalker), with a so-so health. I personally would try riding it, but no way hose 3500 Au.   |

IF you get a Jesse, [ita]SirKenzoY2J... Aphids will be your best bet. Molots wouldn't be horrible though... just... not game changing. The main plus for using them would be that you would never have to stop firing, as one set would always be ready. It really shines when you can use both sets of weapons in a quick succession, and Aphids and Pinatas or Pins are the best options for that. Aphids are the best out of those 3, IMO, b/c of the damage and the decent cover firing potential. |

Jesse with lv 12 Molotx2 and lv12 Pins x2 o.o bye bye other beacon runners... i used to run a 3x lv12 pin gepard, i think i could replace with this jesse setup, to hit from 500m and far backwarding with molots

Rogatka is 2500 gold but its more durable (150k) and faster (60+jump)
Doc is 7000 (! more than lancelot + ancile) and its 140+ and speed is 51. Yes, yes, it has 4 mids but but but....
Only way to use Doc in current mostly plasma wars is to go with Ancilot. Without it Doc is very close to useless in current plasma fights.
so outcome is...Doc is waste of time and gold. Stil. Please, buff it!

Which one would people recommend? The Jesse looks iffy to me and I don't have any trebs for Butch. I have won both the Jesse and the Doc.. and to be honest I find both to be inadequate right now.. I think the Doc will be a good bot once I level him to max.. currently I have 4 Orks on him.. ( also won all 4 ..this event had rocked for me!) And on Jesse I have 4 Aphids..( also won) so I think Jesse will be a nasty little beacon capture bot with a nasty bite..lol sadly I did not get to win a Butch ? would have loved to have the whole set in my collection.. also was hoping to win a Gareth to have all 3 knight bots.. I won 7k gold on a spin and bought me a Lancelot! And I have had my Galahad for a while and love that little bad boy! Lol ... But as for your question, I would recommend the Doc first ..with 4 Okans or even 4 Tulumbas it is formidable bot once leveled up.. (Edit) .. I am thinking of running 2 Orkans and 2 Tarans on my Doc to see how that will work .. |

I won 2 Fury, 5 Zeus, Jesse, Doc, Gepard, 5 Orkan, 3 Golem, 1 Trebuchet, 1 Taran, 1 Ancile, 2 Gekko, 4 Aphid, and a gazillion other small stuff i sold mostly .. and what made it fine was that I bought 1 10$ Google cardboard for this event and I got lucky with winning 7k gold on first spin , then bought Lance for 5k, spun 1k won't be first Fury, second 1k spin won 7k gold again! Won second Fury, then bonus chest won me the Doc, then from there I won 4k gold and so on..till i finally ran out of gold.. I wish I had been smart and bought me a second Lance.. but over all it was still a great event! |

I ended up getting my 2nd Doc and my 1st Jesse. Still got enough Au to buy a Butch, but that bot doesn't suit my style of play and I can't see spending the 208K Ag just to get 4 Trebs from level 10 to level 12 ---- and that's above the 14K Au,
I'd rather spend the Ag on getting the Doc and Jesse to L11. I also had leveled Aphids, CRVs, Pinatas, Punishers, and Molots for the Jesse, so it was sort of a no brained to purchase it for the measly 3.5K Au.

Call me crazy, point, laugh, spout profanities all you wish. I bought my Jessie. I was up on au thanks to the event so I dived right in. I don't have 4x Aphids yet so I'm running Pinatas and it is FUN!!
A few nights ago on Shenzen I was defending our side beacon (carpark) against a trio of reds with it. It took on a Plasma Gareth, Plasma Galahad, and a Plasma Thunder Leo and had them smoking and crippled. Naturally I eventually got melted but I wouldn't dare try that in most other bots.
But yes, it is fragile and has its limitations. Definately not a bot you get for climbing the leagues, but super fun.
Someday, somehow, on the next event, I'm getting that Butch.
