So, based on results, many older people... I would have expected a younger demographic. We really are old. I suppose it's just the expectation that computer games = kids. But then again, I was playing computer games on my first computer in 1982.

HA! 1974. And I absolutely agree, especially here in the bad ol' USA, there is a cultural stereo-type that only kids play video games and watch cartoons. The first home console game I ever played was Super Pong (2nd generation Pong, with 3 new game modes) in the late 70's. The first PC game I ever played was Ultima III on an IBM PC Jr, with a 8086 CPU, and two 5 1/4 floppy drives for storage. It would take 5 to 10 minutes to get the DOS (not MS DOS) OS and the game to finally load. No mouse to use, they hadn't been invented yet. The first coding I ever did was on a Tandy Color Computer 2 in line-number BASIC. Look it up, and know that this PoS was one of the betas for technological Hell. As a kid, I absolutely adored the 80's cartoons like He-Man and Transformers. As an adult re-watching them... I'm not quite sure what my younger self was thinking. Now I watch anime and the like, and the maturity level is distinctly higher than the 30-minute-toy-commercials we used to watch. And I still get called out as immature for watching any kind of animation other than Family Guy or the Simpsons or other so-called adult mainstream cartoons. If y'all can't tell yet, yes I'm an old school gamer from waaaay back. So I play a lot of mobile games too. Every. Freakin. Time. I reveal my age in a mobile game, my companions in the game are always shocked and mostly a decade or 2 younger than I am. I am very ecstatic to see a broader age demographic here, so thanks OP BlackGrouse !

There's a remake of He-Man. It's pretty cool. Easy to find in YouTube.

I watched a few episodes of transformers recently, and was shocked and not in a good way.

If I may recommend an anime, my favorite is Jojo's Bizzare Adventure. Adult Swim FTW! Yep! I know that anime ^_^ If you can put up with it, I recommend the Japanese production with fan-made subtitles. There is a lot of deliberate mis-translation in the English dub production because they parody a lot of famous American Celeb personalities and we're a sue-happy country. Fans don't care about all that

I would recommend steering clear of any Light Novel Anime.
Except for Re: Zero, Re: Zero was okay.
