She prefers close to mid-range (Was running exploding shotguns, now running bendies, but flexible to changing gear).
Currently, it’s 2.12, Marie is the pilot, modules are anti-control, RA (lvl 1), and IA (1).

So, it seems the idea is, basically, to have a high level RA, NAâ¦and get them charged up before you go out into the fray. So (Captain has turned on the 「smart person」 question sign) how do you get them charged up without getting your 「bum-bum」 killed? Mornings are hard.

So (Captain has turned on the 「smart person」 question sign) how do you get them charged up without getting your 「bum-bum」 killed? Mornings are hard. You need to be careful especially now since Armadillo seems to be somewhat broken and with Crisis Reapers oot and aboot. You want to dip your proverbial toe in the pool to get a little bit of damage then heal up. Wallowing about in Siren/Harpy AOEs and some mothership AOEs are relatively safe. Stay away from the rust weapons as much as possible as they're your kryptonite.
I know its unpopular among some, but I use the Phase Shift active module to act as a GTFO card if I start taking too much of a beating. If you're getting ganged up upon, locked down and getting focus-targeted, and/or somebody has a supercharged set of guns (quad Prismas, for example) you aren't going to heal your way out of that w/ Advanced Healing.

Likely mentioned in the other Mender threads, especially Bob Dylans original thread, but wanted to mention something more to do with tactics. Even if you use an anti control mod, it only lasts 5s then you have the vulnerability of the cooldown periods. Im not saying dont use anti control just because it only gives brief immunity, it is important for Mender to run it because mobility is especially important for the healer.
So the tactics are that
1) staying relatively close to various types of cover is very beneficial for Mender. This allows you downtime to regenerate your ability and finish anti control cooldown. Aside from healing others,
2) when you emerge to attack, activate ability for strong durability during assault and retreat, and
3) activating the ability when traveling from cover to cover to get to someone in need will help prevent death during exposed moments.
So it isnt just about the perfect build but how the Mender ability and positioning is used that make it perfect.

One of the things that worked well with my Mender build was shooting something with suppression ability. I'm not sure if any drones have that anymore, though. I used to love the Pulsar/Magnetar combo with a suppression chip because I could lock & suppress Titans from far enough away that they never could land crippling hits on me.

@kellhound I concur with Poopface, Phase Shift seems far more optimal than a repair unit. You can already heal up with your ability once back in safety. A repair unit or advanced unit in many instances will not have a strong enough repair rate in contrast to the strength of incoming fire. With phase shift you can often retreat and get to safe cover to mend. It is also clear the unexpected use of phasing on Mender is a cause for much frustration, because every time the enemy wants to get rid of you because of your value, they miss their chance yet again!
