1. Galahad, basicly a gepard for the big boys with more firepower more health and a free shield. Gives red a pain and able to fight 3on1 and win
2. Griffin, cheapest bot ingame for its power. Only good with death button or rocket set ups. Ability very useful if used with care in certain situations in the right hands
3. Rhino with 17KK the most expensive non-AU bot in game (silver=wsp). Has a very powerful ability. Takes a lot of tactical insight to be efficient.
4. Fury, simply furious.
5. Boa, for the poor kills the rich.
5. Leo, for the poor but does do its job.
6. Carnage, bot made off glass. Useless against skilled players

Carnage is used by a lot of higher tier players in fact. And no, it is not useless against skilled players. You also forgot the lancelot. |

I would say that the only time i would ever wish for a plasma griffin over a plasma rhino, galahad or lancelot, is against a DB griffin. They are also good for dodging midrange missiles, but as a plasma setup it is too glassy for my tastes. |

But really though I don't like using my lances unless I'm in a good team, too slow to carry the team. When solo I play griffins and galahads, when platooning I play an Orkan Lance, DB Griffin, Taran lance, Plasma Galahad and TT Fury. |

It's great, it's like a super Boa. Sure it's slow but the rush cooldown doesn't seem too bad. 20 seconds goes by fast when you're smashing everything. |

I run a 7/9 hanger and I've had great fun with my carnage thunder setup (occasionally I run it with tridents too) but it's hit or miss for me. Sometimes I can take out 4 or 5 bots before I get killed IF I can get in close and there's ample cover like in the small maps I can clean up with the carnage. Other times I get screwed by plasmas right away. I've also had mixed results with the griffin and have tried taran/magnum and tulu/pin combos on it and it's still not as consistent as I would like it to be. The Galahad and the Rhino are great. My leo does good to, but on large maps like Springfield or Canyon it's a pain to waddle like a duck out in the open.
I've never had a fury so I can't comment on that. I've never had a natasha either. I still bring my boa out occasionally. It's still a good bot no matter what anybody says.

Gold aint "Top Tier" (guessing thats where the guys are playing tournaments), so "competitive"?
From what I saw its down to Lancelots, Furys, Rhinos and a few Griffins.

From what I saw its down to Lancelots, Furys, Rhinos and a few Griffins. A few griffins? There are LOADS of griffins in top tier . (This is not specifically directed to you, but since I can't be bothered posting again I'll put it here .) I like the fact that people have voted lancelots as necessary bots in competitive matches... you can have a player run 5 lances and a plater running 5 rhinos or griffins can do just as well. |
