I'm not well versed in the forum so that please excuse me if this is already a thing but I'd love a way to play against AI bots for practice and a little silver for playing. Not as much as current battles but some. I would like comms for clans and friends. Also needs a MAJOR update w like 3 new maps and 3 new bots(one at each level), building interaction (I want to see damage accur to my surroundings) and some better detail to infuse the game w new players and ensure older players will stay interested. I know the AI thing is a tricky one w some potential problems like less players in multiplayer but I hope you all understand my desire to not go up against, what can often seem like, vastly superior bots. They've made a great game that just seems to have some craptastic little annoyances. It's usually a good time, though. Kinda reminds me of the effect golf has on it enthusiasts. Cheers, yo!

I get enjoyment out of a 8/9 hangar smashing people in expert and always being 1st or second in damage agaist 10/12 hangars.... dnt need to be champion to you pwn bots... with out mm i never got the chance to whip these 12/12 hangars now i do... it works for me just takes a while to gain leagues... with a win and a loss u can gain 6 points if you really played well, and if you reallyth are that good you will be above 50% wins

I find it amusing that the whole ELO/league system was proposed as a way to measure skill independent of win rate, which makes sense, you can play skillfully and still lose. While the first version of leagues had issues with not regarding beacon capping highly enough, it was at least possible to increase your league score while losing.
Now? league rating is just a loose predictor of win/loss rate. In legend league now, only people who play exclusively in squads are successful (you can tell by looking at the ridiculously low avg damage of the top 50 players). We are essentially back full circle to before leagues ever existed!

You can be an awesome player but still be ranked way low because it isn't based on individual player performance but the performance of the team. Get a cra*ppy team set for a long run and you drop through the league rankings like a stone even as the top player on either side. And unless you're extremely lucky every one of us has done this several times already. It's a really sh*tty system imo. It makes people who consistently perform well on the losing side feel as though their efforts are completely wasted. They already record our damage, kills and beacons. Why not figure out a way to rate players based on personal performance in their machines? There could be elite pilots for every bot category. The current system isn't a pilot rating at all. It's really not much of anything to tell the truth. If you think about it it's just a really sh*tty way of making many players feel frustrated and angry without understanding why.

I think that was the whole point of the ELO system when it was first proposed, to really get a good rating of player skill... too bad it has not lived up to its promises.
