I am tired of the "this OP,nerf this, nerf that" and the "No,it's strong but far from OP" argument.I'm making this poll to prove either arguments,I will not participate because I do not belong to either group(s).I picked the bots that I usually hear that are OP.
Ancilot Griffin Galahad Gareth Dash(kinda, went a bit overboard with the triple medium guns+speed)
Also state reasons

This may help specify what "OP" is
past tense: overpowered; past participle: overpowered defeat or overcome with superior strength. synonyms: gain control over, overwhelm, prevail over, get the better of, outdo, gain mastery over, overthrow, overturn, subdue, suppress, subjugate, repress, bring someone to their knees, conquer, defeat, triumph over, worst, trounce;etc ~wiki

Ancilot:i think is a bit to strong and tanky but since it costs 6500 Au i dont think pixonic would want to Nerf this setup.
Griffin:Ever since the Heavy robot speed buff back in July or August the griffin has been in the meta a slight speed Nerf would make this robot a little less overpowered but not redundant.
Galahad:Has had slight nerfs in the recent months and i think is a very balanced robot in this day and age.For 2500 Au i think you get your moneys worth.the only problem is that it makes the rogatka useless
Gareth:Similar can be said about this bot.Best light bot in the game and is worth the 1250 Au cost.does make the gepard useless especially after the new leagues update.
Dash:to early to tell.Once it gets released it will either come off as very underpowered or very overpowered probably the later but as people adapt to it and find what works well against it and also for it i see it being a strong allround bot that will hopefully take roggys place as strong beacon capper

I do not have any issues with the production bots listed. The Proto seems like the Gepard/Mag replacement, and if it has a small ancile, then regardless of bot size it will have it's own class. It seems like a fast moving payload heavy damage bot. The thought of moving 3 Orkans or Tarans that fast around the map will be interesting. With the current bots available I don't think we are going to have a good counter to it.

Griffin is OP because of the extremely well performance for a cheap cost.
Ancile Lancelot is not that OP, but when you have 2-3 bunched together, it becomes OP.
Galahad is balanced and same with the Gareth (although Gareth could use a little health buff)
Dash is OP, but becomes balanced when you take out the energy shield and swap one of the mediums for a light.
You also forgot to add the Trident Fury to the list.

On topic, the only one from the list I think is OP is the ancilot. All other bots cvan generally be fought one on one, while the ancilot often takes a team effort. However, due to the gold cost, maybe it should be OP, but I still don't like seeing them.

It has the speed and acrobatics you need to compete with the dash and if you are careful to engage down narrow site lines through cover (like the buildings in springfield) the superior corner shoot and gun placement on the Rog can win

There is no such as OP, its just a buzz word, so people that got their 6 handed to them on a plate, can attempt to legitimize why they suck! Lol. JK, well sorta,.... well ok maybe not - ROFL

I personally think dash is crazy OP compared to most bots. Firepower and shield of fujin, mobility of rog and nearly the health of a griffin? No way.

I will stay with the first meaning of "OP" I knew of "Original Poster" meaning the poster that starts a thread in a forum. And please give me back the pound sign, it is not a hashtag. ?

I don't think they are in a sense completely overpowered (except current dash bot. That thing needs to tone down a bit). I see it in a different light in which there are lots of bots besides the ones mentioned as "underpowered."
If one could buff non-meta bots rather than nerfing the good ones into redundance, things can be a little better for the game. It would no longer be a case of 'you just ruined said bot' but a case of 'this bot is good but you can also try out this other bot as well. Its different but good and viable in its own way.'
Why not retain the good feel and utility of said bot while buffing underused bots so that they could have more practical use, like giving them a better success in fulfilling their own unique niche within War Robots. As of result, this will allow more viability in matches and thus more unique, balanced matches compared to what we have now.
War Robots has been in need of some variety nowadays from what I think (as I've been seeing the same thing from higher tiered hangars commonly) and I'm hoping this may seem like a good, hopefully better outlook to fix things and bring some of that fun variety gameplay War Robots used to have while retaining the unique appeal of current meta-bots.

runamok wrong pound sign. This is the pound sign: # of which I speak. That's the "octothorpe". Back to the topic at-hand. I don't really see anything as over-powered; the Dash doesn't count, it's still only on the test server. The Griffins can be tough, but they can be countered, like any other bot. Yes, the Ancilot is tough as nails, but as was stated, it costs a crap-ton of AU. All in all, I would say the bots and weapons are fairly well balanced... at least, for now.

Ancilot is the second most expensive build in the game, the Triple Zeus Fury is the most expensive one costing nearly 10k.So why ain't he get some love?

I expect the new bot will be OP because they'll want us to buy it and shake up the meta.

Of course some of them are OP, and not only that, but I’d add that it is a very normal and deliberate strategy by Pix.
Gareth is OP and the goal is to sell them for them to become as frequent as Gepard. Having a very strong shield (for a light) was already a major advantage on the Gepard, but having more speed also was really overkill. Now Gareth is basically a light with heavy-like fighting abilities.
Galahad is OP also, although relatively speaking, less than the Gareth. Gareth is actually not that far from the Galahad ability while costing twice less.
Oddly, Lancelot is not that OP. Yes it is a beast with an Ancile, but we are talking about a 6’500 gold built. More if you put Orkans. At that price, I’d say it’s quite normal that you would get a very strong robot. But take a normal build and the Lancelot is more or less in its place.
In general, one must understand that the newer is the bot, the bigger is the risk is that it is OP. It is necessary at first.
As for the Griffin, well, it depends how you define OP. For me it would be more underpriced than OP. It’s a silver heavy with gold-like abilities.

That's just the funny form of dollar symbol used by people who usually mangle English spelling and pronunciation. To complicate things, many of them even call themselves English and act like they invented the language.

Fine, maybe it is a terminology nuance here... English is not my first language but the way I understand those words is the following :
* OP is when a robot is significantly stronger than its direct comparable in class and price. It becomes even more OP when it typically has even stronger fighting abilities than heaviers robots, beating them on their own strength. The textbook example to me is the Gareth. Galahad also to a lesser extend. * Underpriced is more when the place of a robot looks fine, but looks underpriced. Griffin is a heavy, I can see it being in the top-4 alongside Fury/Lance/Gally and as a result, I just find it underpriced. Now if we consider it should be Leo/Naty tier, then it would mean it is OP. It totally depends what you consider the Griffin's place should be I suppose. I think the Griffin is fine as it is (a level above Leo/Naty, but below Lance/Fury), just it's very underpriced currently.
Not sure I am very clear here, but that's the way I define those words as a non-English speaker.

OP has nothing to do with price or class. OP is directly related to the performance of the bot, and nothing else. The only bot on the list that would even border along OP is the Griffin. And I wouldn't go as far to say that it actually is OP.
I don't think any bot in the current game is OP(the dash might be, but there's no point discussing a bot that isn't out in its final form yet).
P.S. Just because a bot regularly beats you does not mean it is OP. It means you need to get better at using one of the many many counters that exist for every single bot and weapon in the game. Identify the counter, learn how to use it. Or keep getting beat, and making people like me smile.

To make things a bit more clear of what OP means, something that will dominate almost no matter what.
Heres an example;([name]Behemoth)A heavy robot with dual heavy and medium hardpoints with the speed and ability of a stalker plus an always active ancile shield with a regen rate of 10% per second with a bot hp of 1m...maybe overkill

My definition of OP is when players try to avoid fighting the bot or immediately focus fire at it. The silver tier gepard of 2016 was an excellent example of an OP bot. It steamrolled through multiple opponents easily and folks either avoided it or attempted to focus fire it down.
Ancilot - Too tanky. A slight gap in the front shield for damage reduction rather than total blockage would balance this guy out. Griffin - This bot is fine as is. It is an extremely versatile and effective weapons platform but it definitely not over-powered. No one has ever said "OMG a griffin, I better head to the other side of the map to avoid it." Galahad - This bot is unbalanced but not OP. It is way too powerful against plasma but eats massive 「dookie」 against mid-range rockets. I'd prefer to see bot hp increased and shield hp decreased slightly. Gareth - This little guy is fine as is. Dash - OP to the extremaximum. Folks haven't learned to run from it yet but it has too much firepower for the amount of mobility and durability (via ancile).
