Grrr... First game I've played in days where things started off pretty even. At Yamatau with the usual contention for the center beacon. We were down 3-2 and they had a strong force at the center. I'm in my DB Griffin and along with a Plasma Griffin and a Plasma Fujin we managed to clear it and re-take the beacon. That done I looked at the beacon bar and saw that we were down 4-1. What? I look around and see a Stalker has capped both our home beacons... and standing there on the ramp to the beacon is a guy in a zeus/gekko leo, apparently oblivious to the guy taking the beacon 10m away. I immediately eject and hop in my Galahad. I cap the spawn beacon and head for the ramp beacon, where the Stalker was still hanging out. The Leo that had been "guarding" the beacon had left the area for cover and was shooting downrange. I kill the Stalker with the help of a teammate and cap that beacon. At that point it's not looking good, up 3-2, but with reds pushing for center, and our beacon bar had taken a big hit. I head for center while our Leo friend heads back to his position on the ramp. Reds advance all the way to center, but we kill them before they can flip the beacon. At that point, I see a teammate heading for the Reds side beacon, so I make a suicide run toward their ramp hoping to divert attention away from him. A teammate follows me, and we manage to take down a few reds and pull the new spawns toward us while our teammate flips the beacon, putting us up 4-1, with just a sliver of beacon bar left on both sides. We pull out the win, and Mr. Leo is STILL standing on the ramp shooting at god-knows-what. Turns out the guy had the best hanger of all of us... 7/8 Aphid/Thunder Leo, 8/8 DB Griffin, 9/9 Galahad, 9/9 Lancelot, and the rig he was using the whole game... a 7/6 Zeus/Gekko Leo. 「whiskey tango foxtrot」?
