rags very nice! Spamming LD flames is cheaper than a lot of other options in this game, I say spam away. There is just something magical about halting 2 guys coming to kill you, then bathing them in warmth. I been running LD flamethrower as my starter for over a week now, having great results

So um, I finished the rocket strider And boy do I love it. Thing is brutal as all hell and already has been getting up to triple kills with the current weapon levels (although the glacier was actually lower than this when I first used it). Just wanted to say thanks for the idea guys!

***SUCKERPUNCH NEWSFLASH***Just had my all time most epic opening Strider run on Shenzhen (oh the beautiful flatness) in THIS BUILD ? 8 kills, lost count how many times we flipped their home during this 5 + minute spazathon, but it was glorious I know Ive been blabbing about rockets for awhile now, and I still love em, but I roll em out mid game now. My tazer build is on my Fenpig, so the flames get the start. Having BOTH Raider skills on my opening Strider is ideal for my play style

Probably gonna make another strider after my hover, a vortex and 5 shredders (4 on blitz, 1 more on my rayker lol).

Awesome video. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed the work you did on that Ravana a couple of times on Yam and standing your ground for the win against that Ming in Valley. The rest was good too of course. Your use of corner shooting and splash damage is something we don't see much of these days, myself included. It's no secret Strider is my favorite bot and this video just makes me want to play it even better.

IMO, the finesse stuff like corner splash shooting works VERY WELL in FFA where you can actually isolate your opponent for a decent amount of time. I was thinking about that...I don't use DM very often, but if I get the skills to improve Cost and Cooldown, I might use it more. When that Glacier effect kicks in, DM brings damage up to insane levels, and my Blazes are only MkI 11.

Depending on mode and style of play, the Raider skills are great in the opening beacon game

So um, jump module strider is a monster... most people don't even see me coming... Before striders movement possibilities were nearly unlimited but now it isn't just linear. You can move in an infinite number of ways with the jump module on and it can do some crazy stunts. I fought a leo with taser setup today, poor guy didn't see me until I was in close. Tried to get a lock while I pelted him with ice rockets but I jumped over his head. He turns around expecting me on the other side but nope, I dashed backwards to the left. Finally he finds me again but before the lock is done he is dead with no idea what the hell happened. Plus you can end up in some weird places and get the literal drop on someone, like so:

Quantum Radar is better than SB on strider because of that, you can get into shields to counter them while stealth can't be countered unless you are at the same height.

Where I used to easily glide off the edge of starting platform on Carrier, I now notice a dip at the end of the dash that is new to me. Similar stuff on other maps as well.
Anybody else noticing this? Come on...it’s OK to admit that you still run a Strider ?
