Lock Down Ammo is not a gold module that takes a passive module slot. It is an active module that costs power cells to activate and goes in the same spot that you’d put health kits or quantum radar.

What's need to kill Lacelots? I'm running into a lot lately and those buggers are hard to kill! EDIT: Hard to kill... at the moment. Watch until they are facing away, fire a few times to spin em and then dash away, teammate who was firing at them before now has a nice lancelot booty to stick his gun in and you can repeat this as many times as required to kill him.

Excellent idea! I've discovered the only way I can kill the lil buggers is if I'm able to get to their side or behind! What's need to kill Lacelots? I missed finishing my Strider by a day when they changed the Economy. Oh well. Still at Mk1, but will be going into Mk2 treatment soon. I’m leveling up Halos for it now and holding out until an Overdrive weekend to save a bit on the gold enhance cost. But I’ll be right there with ya by Halloween for sure! Keep on striding.

I've been wondering about this... taking Scooter to the next level. I guess the next step is moving him into the M2 levels? My boggle is whether it's really worth it since the HP drops from M1-12 to M2-1 … if I understood all that blah blah correctly! lol
Kind of curious... and annoying … how PIX designed the leveling beyond LVL 12.

To suck more $ out of whales that can’t be bothered to wait the rediculous upgrade times. As a pocket change warrior, I almost never spend au on instant gratification upgrades. If I though all vids at it, 2 weeks or so after I start it cooking, I’ll have my strider back. In the mean time, 3-avenger falcon is keeping his spot warm. That’s a totally different kind of Sucker Punch!

Death Mark also works REALLY well on anything softer than a T-Falc. My main issue with flame builds and why I wouldnt use Death Mark for them over Lockdown Ammo, is that the majority of targets will stay mobile resulting in a loss of portions of if not sometimes most of your flame salvo. This is why I always use Lockdown Ammo, or lock down weapons in conjunction with flames, and when lock down isn’t an option due to cooldown, I go for slow moving or distracted stationery targets.

Pulled off my favourite Strider Stunt today on Castle...a little trick I call "Clotheslining an Ares" Ares with a sliver of health and an active shield partway down a ramp. My Strider just a hair above my 10% Last Stand threshold. I step out of cover, approach the ramp and hit the Big Red Button as I dash off the ramp...straight through the Purple Bubble and out the other side as that glorious "KILL" pops up on the screen. Wish I'd recorded it But it looked something like this:

Finally got my trickster beginning! I got a marquess from the gold chest and my dragoon just 3 or 4 days before, now I also have an ecu on the side until I get my other marquess, which is waiting for the fenrir to complete in the workshop.
My little A-hole is basically an ares or scourge family troll. All I do is stay just out of an ares range and backpedal, dashing when needed, whilst pelting himm from a distance where his shots are useless.
As for scourge family users, I walk just barely into their range and fire, counting to 3, when I reach 3 I dash back because I know they will have their lock on just then. My dash always takes me outta their range thereby killing their lockon, then rinse and repeat.
Sadly the both of my weapons are only lv6 so the damage output is low, but it is still pounding people as it is, so I know it will be stronger when I get the marquess and level it up, I can't wait!

Ive gotten pretty good at something similar I call SLICING...when Iâm in CQC with any bot, but especially princesses (purple or not) and stealthed Lokiâs, I will use a single dash to slice em across their side point blank style WHILE letting a salvo rip. Have had a good bunch of these lately . My philosophy is 「fluffernutter」 your stealth, I have creativity on my side. Stealth is nowhere near 100% for any bot as any experienced player knows, so attempting new odd angles for kills pays off more than I ever expected. Try it at home kids!!!

I used mine to kill Arses (pun intended) and Ao Juns. They’ll never catch you which drives them crazy or keeps them pinned down behind cover while you’re kiting across the map collecting beacons. Mine is currently sitting on the bench though as I fell in love again with my good old triple shredder Strider. Pilot skills and the AC module have really given this bot a different energy.

Mine is currently sitting on the bench though as I fell in love again with my good old triple shredder Strider. Pilot skills and the AC module have really given this bot a different energy. oh don't worry, my build is already raking up some serious damage and kills, I usually kill ares or ao jun with the build as well. Now it still is a weak damage output (no matter the level) compared to what any close range build can do but even so it will be fun to kite from one place to another sneaking in damage the whole time. Oh and if you use any active module on it use phase shift, oh god does it show its power on strider. Since you only have a few seconds of run time on it slow bots fail at using it perfectly while fast bots like strider can use that short time to escape to the other side of the map! Basically you use it when someone attacks and dash outta their range, then by the time it wears off you are in safety and might even have an easy angle on them from a distance their weapons can't reach

I have not run an all Strider lineup in a couple months, so I put one together with all different weaps loadouts for some vids and noticed that the tint of the bot is affected by the color of weaps. Direct screenshot, not altered- #stridergeeksrule
