I am looking at getting some sort of joystick or game controller. I have heard that there are some bad ones out there. Does anyone have one which is really good?

Not a clue, but let me know if you find one.

Hi, Long time lurker, first time contributor.
FWIW, im using a gamevice controller on both my iPhone plus and iPad mini. I have clan mates using it on their ipad / iPad Pro too. Been using it for almost 1.5 years. Overall build quality is pretty good, no issues so far so it’s been pretty reliable for me. It’s been working perfectly across iOS 10 & 11 and across multiple versions of War Robots.
Left stick controls movement while right controls view. Shoulder buttons enable individual weapon firing while the A button is alpha strike (all weapons combined). Menu button works too.
Only functions where buttons are not assigned to the controller are target lock / toggle and special skill button (stealth, jump, dash, etc).
Some of my clan mates who have tried it feels that it pans the camera too quickly. For me, I play better on it than on touchscreen as I find it easier to fire while constantly and smoothly tracking targets. YMMV.
Gamevice works with standard audiojack. Doesn’t work with lightning audio adaptor. If you charge while playing, the gamevice can ‘freeze’ leaving your robot walking in circles and unable to turn. To fix this you need to die and before respawn remove the gamevice, lock the screen and immediately reopen game, and re-attach the controller to the phone - this usually (70-80%) fixes the problem.
Hope this helps!

took me 3 「neat-o」 days off virtually non-stop trials to configure the ps4 controller to work on my pc/emulator.... believe me....its not worth it. there is TOO MUCH laggg in controller and once a in a while it hangs or does other stuff than what it should do. few games and i disconnected it right away....trust a person who wanted noth8ing more than to play on a controller, saying that FORGET IT lol

I ordered this from Aliexpress. gamesir.aliexpress.com/store/other-products/1948940.html?spm=2114.12010608.0.0.554f73abV5bUJZReviews seem positive, and $16 isn't a huge risk. Basically the joystick manipulates the touch screen joystick so there's not wireless connection or anything like that. I'll post a review once I get it. They make other controllers too. Haven't really looked around too much because I had thought War Robots didn't support game pads and such.

I just got home and launched the game after not playing for a couple of weeks. Sad to say that 3.9 removed controller support.... the gamevice no longer works with the game. Just saw this thread that documents similiar issues across other Mfi controller users too (of various brands) - war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/24693/update-breaks-little-controller-supportLooks like pixo wants everyone on touchscreen controls only -_- If this is fixed I’ll provide an update and video. To the person who doubted my post - I stand corrected!
