Guys, I have been trying to figure out the best set up for Doc ever since I got him during the Christmas event.
I am still at a impasse about whether what to configure Doc for. I have not been using it quite often, I find it to belong to the trash compare do any griffin type.
I am conflicted with those set ups:
4x Tulu - 2x Tulu 2x Orkan
- 2x Tulu 2x Plasma.
- 2x Orkan 2x plasma
I find 2x Orkan and 2x plasma to be fun but extremely wasteful since it goes down in just a few shots which hardly justifies using Doc and I would be much better setting up those premium weapons on either griffin or another WSP bot.
I enjoy 4x Tulu since it is money efficient and sensible range makes it a plus.
2x Tulu and any other config gives some kind of interesting set up but the varied range is a huge drawback which can leave me in a smoldering pile of metal.
Any thoughts or experimentation anybody has done? maybe even 4x Hydra( does that even work?)

The answer to every form of "Should I use Hydras on my ____________?" Is a resounding NOPE.

Quad Tulumbas Doc - its a mid-ranger with enough HP and firepower to be a decent knifer.
Tulumbas/Orks is a compromise that leaves the Doc unnecessarily vulnerable - as the extra 50K damage the Orks allow aren't worth it.
Too many fast bots can backpedal the Orkans, but the Tuls are hit unless the target jumps to another bot (which it does when I forget to manually target lock).
An alternative you may not have tried is the quad Molot Mk2s Doc. The switch cooldown mates well with the weapon unload and the Doc has favorable survivability to short range rockets (i.e. backpeddling). This combo can easily take down a TT Fury at >625m and many non-shielded bots with knifer weapons at the 355-400m ranges (which gives it the flexibility to play from Springfield to Power Plant.

You could also go 2x Tulu + 2x Molot.
