Ok, so I have: that I use & interchange
- I have 4 slot hanger - savn for 5 slot
lvl 3 (2) geps ((1) Destier rarely)
Lvl 4 (2) Golums 1 each Boa - Vityaz - Patton
Lvl 5 (1) Cossack
I have other L/M bots I mess w but above what I rotate in hanger. Also have mix of heavys.
Weapons - I am almost finished lvling all to lvl 7. Have full line up - Tarans/Mags/Thunderz/Pinatas/Puns&T/Molot&T/Spirals. Have 1 Orkan - going to get 2nd. Also 1 Zeus, 1 Treb, 1 Aphid.
To lvl most effectively, do I go to 8 on weapons or 5 on bots? Will I go into higher tier. Not to worried cause havoc with MM & win percentage - always running against some hvys, just wondering if lvling should put me in new tier?
Your thoughts please

Someone can correct me, but focus on the...
- Boa (thunder Orkan, long-term viability as you level)
- Geps (you got them, might as well use them, but they aren't good for much longer)
- a Golem (thunder Orkan piñata or thunder Orkan mag, also not very viable soon, but longer than the Geps)

General rule of thumb, always upgrade weapons before bots, preferably weapons 2 levels higher than bot levels.
So since entry level for Silver Heavy bots are lvl6, you should go for lvl8 weapons.
Can you post the screenshot of the hangar instead? Hard to picture it with the sentences you posted.

Other times run this, when patton feels like a glass cannon - swap out.
With the Zeus Golum - I have strarted putting on my Puns or Mols & the T's to give some range have full sets of both.

Hmm, Gepard, Zeus and Orkan there could have gotten you the 5th slot.
Gepards are useless in high tier. Sorry to say.

The low silver 6/8 info is useful.
Continue to lvl Boa & Golum, I've seen Golums 9-10. How high do Boa's get leveled, with the variety of hvys, it seems that 2 hardpoints viability runs out fairly quickly?
I would say this to viewpoint of my hanger, 1) The 2 geps have earned so much Au & are fun to pilot - can use now & later to farm gold. Definitely I think a worthwhile cost.
2) Orkan - been told by many that you should have at least 2. The cost differential vs. learning to use & lvl is insignificant.
3) Zeus - impulse buy - nothing hvy mid range, would not have purchased in hindsight.

Boa are still viable in Gold Tier (level 8/9) due to its high HP and relatively cheap weapons (only 1 heavy and 1 medium) You can directly move the weapons to the Lancelot in high tier. Golems on the other hand, I still see them sometimes, but their huge frame is easy to shoot and kill. In terms of Orkans, I would recommend get 4x of them, but its personal preference and depends on your style and hangar. |
