To make noricums more usefull just reduce their reload time by half, thus giving them doubled DPS, but you can still avoid them by moving after the first salvo. And this is what they actually should be good for: keep campers moving

This isn't an actual feature. It's a combination of selective attention and the fact that shields generally mean you're running higher-level stuff where there ARE more shields. Soo... like I said, use shield bots and you'll see more shield bots... Not quite like you said. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attention Also, you said that he MM gives you more shield opponents when you run shields yourself, and if you've got a low-level hangar that simply isn't the case anymore.

I have two ideas for this: You can fire them forward, but they'll be extremely scattered as usual so you need to get up close or if you're trying to deal splash damage to people hiding around corners or large groups of bots, or give them two similar firing modes. The basic one is just a general scattered fire like it is now, and another that attempts to curve to hit a locked on target when they approach it, but curves even worse than the nerfed Aphids, so basically you can dodge them if you keep moving, but you still have a chance of getting hit by splash damage if you're not paying attention. Basically campers will get served if they stand there, but people who move have a better chance of survival.

Ok I can tell you're convicted in your beliefs and I don't blame you or think any less of you. With that said, I never said mm did anything. What I did say, and what you did agree with, is that when you use a shield bot that you tend to see more of them. I never said why or how but you seem fixated on convincing me that I did. I don't blame you for misunderstanding me or even yourself even though there is a clear contradiction (aka alternative facts) of events that you can easily go back and read yourself. ...and moving on... The heart of what I was saying (with your clear intentions of derailing this thread aside) is that it would be cool if that by having a noricum in your active hangar that it would flag you to fight long range bots. ::takes deep breath for a really long sentence:: In my mind I wouldn't mind spawning knowing I'd get to target more campers instead of having them on my team since the pool of available campers are more likely to be on the opposing team. I hope that I've been a little clearer in what I said. I did this for you ::bro hug:: and btw since you read the bro hug you can't take it back.. it can't be unread.. ever..

shield bots are commonly used not because one person uses it and its really good,it IS good, both on paper and on the field.Just make another robot that are better than shieldbots but itself does not have a shield and people will first test them and when they like it as well it is not OP,people will scram in wanting to buy them once they are out and when the ones did not test them usually compare the stats of each bot and find its decent, they would probably want to buy them. And once they are out in the battle, and realize that its decent would make them want to buy it even more.I know what your thinking"others use them so I should too",no,its just a small part of it.well thats MY belief, you may correct me if you want and I'll admit correction if its really good and convincing

Okay, did you really have to include "premium shower thought time"? I really dont want to take this further. Disturbing, very disturbing. Did you take a marijuana?

Noricums have great splash, but very low damage. Other properties of the Noricums are long flight time, 400m minimum range and straight targeting. Yep, nobody uses them. Trash in theory, trash in practice. SO, after some premium shower thought time, I hypothesised this: if Noricums could home in on targets, they might not be crap. It could be used to launch Cossacks behind enemy lines!
