How do i quote multiple posts, if possible?
-Full theoretically, if the stalker is using a different weapon and you using pulses, 1v1, you'd probably lose assuming equal skills.
-Don't have a stalker or had any intention to.
-Then it would only counter stalkers if it also uses pulses, meaning it can't really be said as a counter(imo).

The weapon is meant for a tool to break stalemates, like camping on either side of the wall of the center beacon on Canyon, or Griffins hiding all match a vertical jump shooting in dead city , Griffin hiding on building shooting spirals and hydras, stalkers in Gold just running around and hiding with no real purpose.
Just a tool to break the stalemates. It would never be a serviceable main weapon. That was the intention when I suggested a detonation weapon anyway...

It might actually shift the focus even more to midrange, as you'll have to kill robots with this weapon before they come close. It will not change midrange strategy, which is already to not let enemy robots get within 300m, but it will be a problem for some types of knife fighters (all DB and PDB builds).
I'm not sure if that weapon is a good idea.

If this weapon coms out, War Robots new name should be Mid Range War Robots, cause all you will see is Tridents as they out range this weapon by nearly 500m, the new pulse weapon far surpasses any other knife fighting weapon (even the Thunder), so to counter this, people will counter this by running 5 Fury Tridents/Trebs, so it'll turn into literally a mid range game, might as well remove any other weapons that have a range of 500m or below if that happens. Stalker Gekkos will be the new beacon cappers

The pulse weapon sucked this weekend. I'll glad keep my mags...I was saving my gold and WSP for the February update; no longer after this weekend. Hated the pulse completely....

I have several ideas on how to break stalemates without this... even if its a neat idea and looks cool... I don't see how it's gonna work because I'm gonna try to shred it from 300 with a DB... if that doesn't work, there will be another flood from inside 500... and if that still doesn't work, I know for a fact me and my new friend molot fujin will go rambo from 799 until I die. Camping with a death bubble is a neat concept, but it seems less likely to work than capping with a cossack in TT.

If you do not penetrate the wall and are limited to light weapons (in a manner similar to suicide bombs) you will be able to use it with a feeling of being gripped after the beacon dash

Kinda pointless at high levels. People move costantly and nobody will allow you to get in the range of 100 meter. Afterthat you'll see a lot of people sticking to walls to camper, actually get campered by a flanking RDB. Maybe could have some use on dashes but it would be boring fast to play like that

I could see the pulse prototype as a utility weapon but it's easily outclassed by ranged weapons even by bullet weapons like GAU. Exatly this. You are most likely to be destroyed before enemy is in range to fire pulses. This weapon has a potential to be good, but... I would like to see it like grenade style weapon. Fire grenade and when it hits to something it explodes and makes damage as same way as now. Exept that pulse should be light based to prevent it go through covers. Fire range 350m and effectiness radius as now when it explodes. Did you just say Noctiums?

A stalker is the best carrier for this weapon as no other bot can get safely to an opponent in 100m Double dash... Dash robots control ranges better than anything else in the game, so weapons that excel at certain distances will be best on the Dash Robots.

Im really getting the feeling that sone of these hew weapons, like this Pulse weapon, is intended to diversify weapons with different types of weapons... rockets & kinetics, Energy & rockets ect.
