Actually, during WW2 the U.K. armed some freighters with a steam-powered cannon that had a sizeable bore that could be used to fire grenades at attacking ships. It wasn't too long before they realized that the guns could also fire cans of food. Soon after, the freighters would sometimes been seen having mock battles as they came into dock, firing potatoes at each other. The steam cooked them instantly so they were soft when they hit. Sadly, I can't remember the name of them off he top of my head...

So noricum users are just really historical re-enactors (potato lobbers) in matches? That makes a lot more sense as it seems like they also fire blanks.

Not the Noricums. Those are marshmallows. Just the Zenits. They're historical reenactment actors who accidentally walked into a real battle. #Whoops #NoWonderTheyreUseless

Um, totally off-topic, but... Bright blue: what you got. Faded blue: what you also would have had with Premium Empty: Just to make you envious.

Either way, in the future when they show up on my squad, I will show them more respect now that it is clarified that they are card carrying members of the Society of Creative Anachronism fighting in the modern age - I will salute them with the well known phrase: "We blue team members who are about to die [because of the red spawn raid due to your useless weps] salute you [with my middle finger]. "

Thanks Muhlakai for the enlightenment and apology for going off topic but wasn't sure how to write other than by the quick reply button on my phone screen. No one could ever accuse me of being electronically savvy... Well they could. But it wouldn't be factually correct.

They could only retrofit it onto the merchant ships that were actually steam-powered, so it was a minority of ships, but they had them. A similar cannon, the Holman Projector, was created for infantry.
