By way of update, yesterday may have been just a speed bump, or maybe I have finally convinced the mm that my 6/7 heavy hangar won't compete vs all 10/11 guys. Today's games were about 50/50 for me, but all were competitive and I felt I contributed significantly in every match. Lowest bots I faced are still around level 8-10, but I can handle being *almost* on equal footing. Hope others see improvement as well. On Android I seem to get runs of horrible mismatches followed by runs of competitive games. iOS is still far worse - this morning on iOS, played one game, blue team ranged from 6/5 to I think 8/9 - the ENTIRE red team was 10/10 or above.

Yeah but isn't iOS dealing with a plague of rating tankers?
And has been said a lot... every one of the rating tankers are prolonging the misery for the rest. It's not just their hanger that is affected... but everyone who won instead of losing when they should have, gets placed with more powerful bots, and that results in extending the torture. If a tanker drops 5 matches... and causes just 3 reds to win that should have lost... then they get placed in games that will result in them losing to overly high opponents for however long it takes the system to realize that they shouldn't have been there. So, that 5 game tanking spree screws up 15 others. And if they run into more tankers along the way... yeah.
And if higher level players on the team that enjoys the fun of 3 people dropping out, lose, then they will possible stay lower than they should, pitting them against people that they shouldn't be pitted against, for longer.
As frustrating as it is to deal with the new system figuring our standings out... it is even worse to deal with artificial standings because a few consider their time and game enjoyment more important than everyone else's.

I am still not sure if I dare to try and change any of my bots (when I tried it yesterday I was against lvl 12 bots with lvl12 weapons) but if I do not make any changes things look pretty good. But I do feel sorry for these people who have only 3 slots and lvl 10-12 bots with high lvl weapons.. I have a feeling that they are in HUGE disadvantages. I was playing my 4-8 mediums but the level of competition I started encountering was a bit too tough. I adjusted my hanger to the strongest loadout I could field (which isn't too impressive and very unbalanced) but I still couldn't really compete. When I added heavy bots and AU/WSP bots I didn't really see any major increase in the power of the hangers I was fighting. I was already playing against 10/10 - 12/12 enemies though ... so maybe I didn't get bumped up in competition because there wasn't much further up the MM could have pushed me. This morning I put my hanger back down to the 4-8 mediums and I didn't see any kind of drop in competition. My next 3 games had 12/12 hangers with Rhinos, Lancelot, furries, etc. Maybe since you guys have sort of found "your rank" a change in hanger makes a more noticeable difference. Maybe MM just hates me =D. It seems like I was one of the last people to experience any sign of change in match making. Soooo maybe I am just due a little more time being beat upon by 10/10-12/12 hangers before I get properly placed. I am glad you mentioned that changing your hanger seemed to make a difference in where MM placed you. That will be useful information for me in the long run.

Fwiw, changing my hangar has not changed my matchups. Purely anecdotal, but in reading the forums I think mm gives everyone a day of 12/12 onslaught. Maybe they use that as a test to grade us? I am still now just seeing 8/8s to 10/10s. Still stronger than me, but not quite as absurd as before. My win rate holding steady in the 40-50% range though, which isn't ideal ..
