When Will New MM come to Android?

played a few matches. One of the matches I lost their top spot was 11/12 heavies with a 48% wins. For reference, I have 6/8 heavies.

I am seeing stuff like this too. My approach has been to play whatever is put before me, but these games are so poor that they are actually encouraging me to just tank and build my score up from zero because everything is in too much flux atm.

I'm on Android, and i swear we got hit before today. I've been playing my 4/6-7 hangar for the past week and have seen nothing but heavies in every battle. This past weekend i started seeing Galahads in with us. my hangar is straight up a HB-Last Stand and I'm playing games with guys in HS all the time.

oh, and forgot to mention. This started happening right after i upgraded to 2.5. At first I wasn't seeing many players with their mag/gep set ups. But I played two matches today that still had 4 players on the field with either mag/geps, or aphid/geps. I refuse to purchase mags because i can't stand the way they sound after hearing repeated rapid fire for 10 min straight from these seal clubbers. Now I'm starting to hate aphids with this new bump. Not only geps, griffins, fricken patton's with aphids..... so annoying!!!

Only 5 matches played today (small sample size, I know), but all have been good competitive bouts. No one getting more than 600k damage or so. There are some higher level bots out there (level 9 stalker and level 8 rhino on red my last match), but nothing overwhelming. I am still seeing plenty of punisher/molot clad Griffs. I think the new MM has quickly identified me as a pud-knocker, and is leaving me alone to remain in my normal confines of lowish silver pilots.

I can't say about yesterday, but I definitely have seen it today. But no worries I made it through the iOS "Big Change" I'll make it through this one too. I have been running my low silver tier in android and had consistently been matched against lvl 8 bots and lvl 6 to 8 weapons.

Silver tier all level 4 bots, lvl 9 weapons. 2 boa's, 2 vityaz's and a golem. Getting ready to load low gold. All level 7 bots with lvl 9 weapons to see the results of that change.

But still getting kills, beacons and causing damage.

dangit - I see the same with my silver hangar on Android... My 2/8 meds vs 8/6-7-8 heavies.

After a streak of losses I took a different approach and loaded up my light bots with Ecus. Starting opposition didn't look much different. 5 wins and 25 gold later, and I'm with 10/10 heavies. Since I did zero damage in those games, it looks like winning is all that counts as neither my hangar nor my offensive output would warrant me being stuck with the big boys.

Are you guys sure the MM changed for android? I am not seeing any difference. I run an almost 4/8 medium bots hanger (still have some upgrading to do) and I am still seeing about the same competition. In the bulk of my games run into 6/5 heavies, Gepards, the occasional WSP bot, and a whole lot of terrible hangers piloted by confused players. Mileage varies from time to time. There is the occasional absurdly strong or weak hanger. I haven't seen any change in the norm today. The only real significant change I noticed was that after 2.5 Gepards became a bit easier to deal with.

Truechill, I am seeing the same thing... Except I am running 7/9 mediums and a 9/9.5 light.  Some of my clan mates are seeing crazy matchups, some aren't.  Something has changed... just not sure how many people are affected yet... may be a phased rollout like someone said in another post... or... IDK. 

BTW, my win % is in the mid 60s.

When running low silver in Android my win % was 80 or slightly higher. When running low gold, it would drop to between 70 and 72. It has now dropped to 66% which is fine. And some of my battles have been tougher than I can remember.

I have 1500 victories and a 5 slot hangar, level 30 player, so I don't know if any of that factors in.

But definitely being one of those nasty random players, I have seen a difference today in players from both sides.

I didn't see it at all earlier today, but my last batch of matches have been interesting. I was back up to a 78% earlier today and while I had a few close matches nothing stood out. I'm running a pair of 2/10 Geps (Aph/DB) and three 4/8 TT/TO Boas. It happened over maybe half a dozen matches. I started seeing an increase in bot/weapon levels until now I'm facing 6/8 mediums to 9/9 heavies (no Fury/Lance/Gal/Rhino though). Most of the fights have been relatively close. At my 'tier' the lower the bot/weapon level the higher the win rate and vice versa. There's only been a couple where we were mostly rolled over. I've finished all my daily tasks, and am still placing top 3 damage, and scoring beacons with a 72% win rate.

Where the old MM matched you against an average weapon level and some bot level. The new one, at first glance, seems to go almost entirely with my highest mid/heavy weapon value. I have level 10's on my lights, but haven't seen any other level 10 weapons yet. I haven't seen what was my average weapon level on other bots either. Everyone seems to have my highest/highest-1 med/heavy weapon. The weapon advantage generally associated with making a build more glassy seems to be the target of this aspect of the change.

Also, it really appears that unless you're a very dodgy and positional player you should match bot level to weapon level to help optimize your survivability. My Boas have really been my saving grace. Their naturally higher HP and only 4 level gap between bot/weapon levels has allowed me to use my wall hugging ways to stay alive a bit longer while taking advantage of some situations. I try to be positional, so I'm going to look at this time frame, as an opportunity to improve that aspect of my play while I get my bot levels up.

I wanted to provide an update because I think things have definitely changed since yesterday. I played a four matches this morning and it seems like it is a completely different world now. The first match caught me off guard. The number of WSP bots and WSP/AU weapons was significantly higher. At the end of the match I noticed slightly higher than normal bot levels and weapons.

What was the most interesting was that I immediately noticed a higher caliber of play from my opponents. Better use of cover, corner shooting, and all sorts of other things I rarely see. I won all four matches but the last match was a bit insane. I didn't get top damage and I even got mech'd out. It was pretty exciting. It went down to the wire with a sliver of capture bar for both teams. I should also add it was a 5v6 since we had a player bail at the start.

This was the number 1 player on the Red team.... against my adorable little Boa hanger. =(
(but to be honest this was the most extreme disparity I encountered out of the 4 games I played)

One more anecdotal data point - so far on android I have not seen the same wild matchups that I saw (and still see) on iOS. Last night I would not have suspected anything was different on android. iOS this morning still threw my 6/7 hangar and 50% win rate in with 12/12s.
