What do you think? Personally I like it but that's my opinion. And yes, that's the new medium shotgun weapon called Storm.

Personally, I prefer the toaster. The new design seems a little sleeker and more futuristic, but there is something lovely about that boxy little death toaster.

And here is Glider with two Storms. Its name is changed by the way to Hover.

So if they are redoing the boa, are they going to re-release it as a component bot? Should I buy a few now while they are still silver bots?
I'm just messing around with you, pix would never do that to us. I hope...

They should keep it for a future robot instead. Schutze new model still resemble the old one in some way but this one is completely different aside the weapon placement.

And here is Glider with two Storms. Its name is changed by the way to Hover. does it have special abilities? It can hover. Yup, that's it. It can fly straight up into the air (or at a slight angle), and rain death from above. Longer you hold the button the higher it goes. Seems like tulus and a pin would be better, as it's a bit too fragile for knife-fighting with storms.

Why do these bots look almost the same, except for hardpoint placement?

Why do these bots look almost the same, except for hardpoint placement? You're not wrong. All the designs are starting to look a bit "samey". The Schutz, the nu-Boa, the Hover and Hellfire, all look like they were cut from the same cloth. My guess is there is some designer at Pix that was brought in after the old team left and is trying to put their own (ugly and homogeneous) stamp on the game.

I never liked the K-bots for the same reason. They look like insects moving around in a park, biting anyone they can. Inquisitor seems like a rip-off of the Warhammer Freeblade. The older designs were better IMO.

Why: Does Hellburner look like a Nissan product? Does any bot with storm look like its seeking a usb port?

Call me Old School. I dig the look of the Boa now better than the redesign. I said that about the Rog too. However, If they give the bot some more speed or health I would over look the visual. Agreed with the others, the new design looks too much like other bots. The Boa's "box like " features make it stand out and gives it the appearance of the tank that it is. My .002

All I know is that Mama Duck is going to be taking her ugly ducklings out as often as possible until Pixonic ruins them, like they did the Rog and Shutze. I still hate looking at the Shutze. I use it all the time in my light and Imperial German hangar and it's 'redesign' has NOT grown on me.

For a gun with 80% the damage-per-second of a thunder (and basically equivalent to one if you take its larger ammo clip into consideration), storm sure is TINY. Like a quarter the cross-sectional area, plus it has half as many barrels as thunder (8 v.s. 16), AND they're each smaller calibre than thunder's, suggesting its much less than half as powerful overall, but you'd be wrong to assume that perfectly logical conclusion, because Pix. The same people that think if you bolt two of a gun together, whether minigun or autocannon, you end up with something only 50% more powerful, despite adding 100% more gun.
So, a tiny thunder you can barely see from range but that fits on a medium slot without really giving up any performance. This is definitely gonna be a component weapon. :/
